I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

Oh shame I don't mind it - but then I have this annoying pregnancy induced nasal congestion so my sense of smell is quite dulled.

Perhaps go for the tablets? They might go down easier!

Figgygal · 03/10/2016 18:41

I have the h+b ones too I seem to recall they were best of a bad bunch from last time!!

Due date tomorrow so the whole school yard can look at me with pity at school run time! Because I was induced at +11 days last time I'm not feeling that impatient I'd resigned self to it happening again pretty early on. Lots of walking, lunges and a big hot curry for tea tomorrow

Afreshstartplease · 03/10/2016 19:32

Some more twinges and a bit of back ache here but no doubt it'll be nothing again !

DerekSprechenZeDick · 03/10/2016 20:03

Nothing here too...

I feel sick but think that's to do with the cake ...

DerekSprechenZeDick · 03/10/2016 20:16

I'm on the ball.

I think it's going to drag out if it is the start. No major signs of it happening

LillianFullStop · 03/10/2016 20:17

Fighy I haven't tried curry yet but if things don't get moving by next week I will!

Fresh what cake did you have? I could do with cake!

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 03/10/2016 21:46

37 weeks tomorrow, which is the cut off point for being able to go to the MLU. Operation evict baby can commence! I might get some of the rasberry leaf tea capsules - don't think I could handle the taste of the tea! I'm bouncing away on my ball, and have major back ache, but that's probably because I walked around town this morning.

Congrats to those with babies already - I'm jealous - I want mine now!

Afreshstartplease · 03/10/2016 21:53

It was big chocolate cake Cake

Back ache on and off and twinges in lower abdomen but only when sat down

DerekSprechenZeDick · 03/10/2016 22:16

Do figure of 8s on the ball! I was told that one.

I'm going to bed lol would rather it didn't happen tonight. I still haven't packed my bag ....

DerekSprechenZeDick · 03/10/2016 22:24

Pack your bag!

I finished mine today coz I thought I'd need it

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 03/10/2016 22:26

I'm secretly trying to tempt fate by not packing it

LillianFullStop · 03/10/2016 22:44

Oh fresh you're so brave!

Had my bag packed at 34w. I'm 37+1 now (behind you!) and last night I double checked everything in my bag again! Completely neurotic right? I figure I can't control when this baby is coming or how it's going to go - so I focus on what I can control which is what is going in my bag Blush Still have to load movies onto laptop and books into Kindle though - I'll sort that this week!

Bluecarrot · 04/10/2016 01:17

I've been packing and repacking bag for months. It's still not complete and I'm going in for cs on Wednesday. Which is technically tomorrow....
Just can't seem to get the time to do it without one of the kids interrupting or someone dropping in to see us. Then it's bedtime ( we cosleep) so stuff gets moved ti the floor....

Dizzy08 · 04/10/2016 09:18

Hi everyone I've been stalking the chat for a little while (sorry for not posting sooner). I kept hoping it was almost too late to join the chat and that baby would arrive. (Due 8th) but no luck so far. It's my first and hip pain has been killing me since about the half way mark. I'm so done with being pregnant! But it's really nice to read that I'm not the only one struggling.. and that we'll all get there in the end!

Afreshstartplease · 04/10/2016 09:26

Welcome dizzy!

Exciting you are nearly at your C-section date blue!

I won't be taking movies etc into the hospital with me, my last baby was born within 3 hours of my arrival at the hospital and this one is going to follow suit, I will also fight tooth and nail for a same day discharge

Afreshstartplease · 04/10/2016 10:17

I've just realised I've not seen April on here for a while has anyone else? I think she would have had her babies by now!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 04/10/2016 13:27

I've not done a thing today apart from the school run. Just laid in bed since.

Might go for a walk and see if it starts anything

OP posts:
positivity123 · 04/10/2016 14:49

I was thinking that about April. Hope she is OK, I bet she's popped by now. I am having such a lazy day. It is glorious

Afreshstartplease · 04/10/2016 15:00

I've done a few bits of housework, my leg is playing up though

TeaGirl3 · 04/10/2016 15:30

I've just got back from my 38 week check up and need to have a growth scan. Measured 35cm last time (36 weeks) and now measuring 33cm. Hopefully will get an appointment in the next couple of days, as time is ticking and also to put my mind at ease.

Has anyone else needed a scan so late?

Afreshstartplease · 04/10/2016 15:39

I've got one next week tea for growth, was 95th percentile now 50th

DerekSprechenZeDick · 04/10/2016 15:57

Tea I had to go as mine had dropped off the scale. At the scan they saw she was actually spot on with growth so try not to worry.

I had one last week at 39.

Derek that's reassuring to know! Glad your little one is ok.

Hope everything is ok for you next week Fresh!
