I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

Havetobe: I also woke a few times in the night with painful BH right at the top of my bump and panicked this might be it! Unfortunately nothing happening now though.

No hands and feet sticking out for me yet but the bump is getting noticeably less roomy so wouldn't surprise me if I see something identifiable soon.

GP today for 38 week appt - going to ask when I can have a sweep. Has anyone had one of these before being overdue?

Fraggleface · 20/09/2016 12:05

Oh and congrats Northern!

LillianFullStop · 20/09/2016 12:08

Kariana I haven't seen hands or feet either - baby is head down and facing me so it's mainly her back/bottom shifting around that I can see moving.

fraggle I'm booked in for a sweep at 39w and to see if cervix is favourable.

Figgygal · 20/09/2016 12:23

Congrats northern

I've still not had any bh but didn't last time either.

My 38wk appointment tomorrow will be my last until 41wk they won't see me or do a sweep until then. I've worked out if I am induced it'll be on a Saturday but I'm not having that going to have to discuss with mw tomorrow

Fraggleface · 20/09/2016 13:01

Lilian - who's that with? GP or midwife?

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 13:03

How come your getting one at 39 wk Lillian!?

climbingcheesecake · 20/09/2016 13:10

I've never seen hands or feet either! just lumps.

mild 'contractions' still continuing, although varying degrees of pain from none, to bad period pains. I managed a bit of sleep earlier.

LillianFullStop · 20/09/2016 13:23

I think it's because my appointments are staggered strangely because of appointment availability (I've got 37w and 39w appointments instead of a 38w and 40w appointments - so i think the 39w sweep really is the 40w sweep). I'd been seeing a consultant and they've been watching my low lying placenta closely - maybe because I'm a wee 4'11 and they don't want me going too overdue? They didn't really say why they just offered and I said yes why not!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 20/09/2016 17:31

Midwife is coming to see me at home for the 38 week appointment to check in ok and blood pressure.

They have all Been sent to day unit at the hospital so can't go to surgery to see them.

Lillian I'm also 4'11. I look like a garden gnome with this pregnancy Grin

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 18:36

I've been saying I'm 5'1 but I might be wrong....maternity notes have me as 152cm ...

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 20:55

Been having more Stabby pains this evening while sitting down. Also more pressure behind pubic bone and some mild period pains / bh

TeaGirl3 · 20/09/2016 21:47

Congratulations Northern!!

Has anyone been to see the physio yet for pelvic pain? I have An appointment tomorrow morning and am not sure what to wear. May sound stupid, but what would be best? I've never had any type of physio before, so not sure what to expect and how much/little to wear. Thanks!

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 20/09/2016 21:57

Teagirl I've had physio for SPD - it won't really matter what you wear as long as you're comfy - I normally wear jeans or a skirt and a top.

LillianFullStop · 20/09/2016 23:04

Oh wow fresh and derek i guess I'm not the only wee one! Maybe that's why we get the fanny dagger pains so badly because there's less torso for bubs to stretch in. I am starting to look ridiculous with this bump now too and I'm only 35+2 - how much bigger can this get!

climbingcheesecake · 21/09/2016 06:50

How is everyone doing today?

After easing off completely, my contractions started again this morning at around 2:30 , and seem to have progressed from period pains. I took paracetamol a couple of hours ago to see if I could sleep through them but no chance. They are about 10-15 mins apart at the moment, so I guess this could be it?

Afreshstartplease · 21/09/2016 07:45

Exciting climbing!

I slept pretty well! Was woken with one lot of pain in pubic bone but that's it. Now have some very infrequent period type pains here and there.

For me this is feeling like the week before I had DC2 and had pains here there and everywhere for a good week before eventually going into proper labour

36 weeks today so if I do this for a week atleast baby will be 37 weeks

positivity123 · 21/09/2016 07:53

Ooohhhh Climbing this is exciting. Let us know how you go.
I feel miles away from having the baby. It still feels high, I get the odd fanny daggers at night but nothing else. I'm due in 3 weeks but telling myself it will be 4.
Only 3 days left at work!!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 21/09/2016 09:26

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. I feel like I've dropped more.

Pressure all in my bottom half

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 21/09/2016 09:55

All pains have now vanished

And I'm tired already somehow!

Kariana · 21/09/2016 10:19

Climbing that sounds exciting! You could be having the next baby!

Fresh I'm the same 5'1 but notes say 152cm. Dh measured me the other day and the 5'1 is definitely right.

Positivity I'm like you, feels ages away. 36+1 today but I'm convinced at this rate I'll go over. Think dh is less confident in his 2 weeks early prediction as well now, he hasn't mentioned it for a while Grin

Figgygal · 21/09/2016 11:01

I'm 5'10 I'm all torso and at 38wks I am completely and utterly devoid of any twinges, bh or daggers ......this baby is never coming out

Afreshstartplease · 21/09/2016 11:21

OMG putting the shopping away just nearly killed me

DerekSprechenZeDick · 21/09/2016 11:31

I have period pain and thigh cramp right now. I'm still in bed so no excuse for it

OP posts:
DerekSprechenZeDick · 21/09/2016 13:56

Back and thigh ache now yet I'm still in bed

I'm so bored

OP posts:
Fraggleface · 21/09/2016 14:44

Just checked my notes and I'm 154cm which is 5ft and a half. So I'm a giant compared with some of you ladies Grin. Thankfully baby is a shortarse too so not too much rib kicking at the mo. GP said head wasn't engaged yesterday but I'm sure she's dropped down again.

Fresh - I had a nightmare the other day when the delivery guy watched me pick up every single item of my Sainsburys order out of the baskets on the floor at my front door. I don't think he realised how uncomfortable/hard it was for me but still, I was annoyed.
