I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

Hate to break it to you but in my three labors so far I had no shows and had my waters broken for me in hospital

DerekSprechenZeDick · 19/09/2016 19:40

My waters are going to break in a dramatic fashion like the tv. I had to have them broken the first time and it was the worst feeling

Afreshstartplease · 19/09/2016 19:43

I don't mind having mine broken!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 19/09/2016 19:46

I want them to go in a dramatic fashions not tomorrow though as I have to go see someone about my leg which I've been waiting 4 years for

Then I'm off to see Bridget Jones and I think getting my hair dye.

So maybe Wednesday would be ok

All those plans. It's bound to be tomorrow

LillianFullStop · 19/09/2016 20:14

losing part of the plug is a good sign though cheesecake? How far along are you?

fresh I'm a little behind you at 35+1 and the fanny daggers come when I walk. Almost every day now. She's definitely head down so I think it's her headbutting me when I walk. I've found a weird gliding walk bounces her a bit less but yeah it looks stranger than the more common preggy waddle.

derek fingers crossed she stays put until Wednesday but it sure sounds like things are getting ready to move.

DerekSprechenZeDick · 19/09/2016 20:15

I have a cramp like pain in groin. This is new

36+4 today and think I had a bit of a show earlier. Bit of TMI but was almost like my nether regions had sneezed.... Booked in for ELCS 3 weeks from today, so might be cancelling that if the show is anything to be counted on!

Afreshstartplease · 19/09/2016 20:20

Wow sounds like things are moving everywhere!

LillianFullStop · 19/09/2016 20:23

woah taffeta def sounds like the mucus plug - exciting!

ChatterNatterer · 19/09/2016 20:41

Eeepp!! Everyone's moving along!!!

I am showing no sign of anything at 37 + 2 yet Smile

DerekSprechenZeDick · 19/09/2016 21:39

Still the same pains.

It's the fanny daggers that's the worst thing! I would have a sex change right now if it would take them away. 😂

Wow things are moving for a lot of us, maybe we'll have a rush of late sept/early oct babies. I have nothing yet though, not even a slight bh.

Restless legs are awful tonight, plus not at all sleepy though I will be exhausted tomorrow. Very frustrated right now. I would actually rather have the sickness back than deal with restless legs. I can't even begin to tell you how annoying it is.

Northernlight22 · 20/09/2016 03:34

Exciting developments here - my little one arrived Monday night at 20.45 at 36+5. Was admitted for monitoring as waters went without contractions this morning and lo and behold, he was here within 12 hours 🙈

Northernlight22 · 20/09/2016 03:36

Oops - missed off that we weighed 6lb 9.5 so growth scan last week pretty accurate (6lb 4 on Thursday!)

climbingcheesecake · 20/09/2016 03:47

wow! congrats northern! that's great news, and so quick.

I have been awake since 2am with period like pains... due on the 2/10 so just over 38 weeks now.

AngharadTheSplendid · 20/09/2016 05:05

Congrats northern! fab news. Our first thread baby Smile

LillianFullStop · 20/09/2016 07:54

Oh wow congrats northern! 12 hour labour what a dream! Hope you are recovering well Smile

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 08:12

Congratulations northern!

So exciting!

Stabby ness is still there this morning but not as bad as last night, however I've still got to walk the school run so we will see!

35+6 today. Sleep was very interested. Lots of wees, two DC out of bed at some point and then a nice period of insomnia!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 20/09/2016 08:55

Congrats northern Flowers

Pains have eased off. Think my body can't handle walking. I just need to get through today then she can come whenever

Oh Northern I am so happy for you!!! What fantastic news. Have you got a little picture? As your due date buddy I've been keeping an eye on you and I'm so happy he is all here safe. How was the birth?

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 09:31

School run wasn't too bad even managed a detour to the shop, that's it now though I won't leave the house again today! If I go out more than once my spd is awful

Last night I mostly packed babies hospital bag, still have mine to do though so I might attempt that later

Loving how everything smells now I've switched back to fairy washing stuff and softener

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 20/09/2016 09:47

Hi everyone,

Feeling utterly crap today, had some pretty strong BH last night and did have that "oh shit" thought but they went eventually. Pretty uncomfortable nights sleep, think baby is pretty keen to get out now but has no sense of direction, limbs all over the place and lots of pressure. I know this could go on for weeks but I have a really busy day (scan this morning, consultant this afternoon, DS at football club after school and dd1 at taekwondo) plus dh is away at a meeting tonight. Oh I just can't be arsed with any of it!
Decided my house was too messy to give birth in this morning so have been hoovering since I got back from school run.
Congrats Northern can't believe you've had yours already. I am due on 7th but hoping it will be a bit early as my birthday is on 6th!

Kariana · 20/09/2016 11:39

Northern congratulations, that's lovely news! Hope you're both well.

Climbing sounds like things might start moving soon. Very exciting!

Havetobecrazy my baby takes after dh and has no sense of direction either. There is a large diagonal lump across my stomach this morning, but I've no idea which end is the head! They're checking me Thursday and if he's still breech I'll be sent for a scan.

By the way, has anyone seen outlines of hands or feet sticking out of their bump? Everyone I know who's had a baby talked about that and I was so looking forward to that part. All I've had though are smooth lumps when he kicks or jabs, no identifiable body parts. I feel a bit disappointed!

Afreshstartplease · 20/09/2016 11:53

Kariana in four pregnancies that never happened to me!
