Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

Ellie if it is neat clary sage be careful, it could overstimulate you. You should put it and a carrier oil on to tissue first to sniff a little. My yoga teacher had hers removed by midwife when in labour as it was making it difficult for her to cope as she had contractions one after the other with no break.

AyeAmarok · 17/11/2016 10:46

40+5 now. Sigh.

Had a sweep first thing this morning, it wasn't too bad - uncomfortable rather than painful luckily.

Absolutely nothing indicating any change since, although it's only been 2hours I guess!

I think I'm now completely resigned to an induction at 40+13 Sad

Shadowboy · 17/11/2016 13:27

My sweep yesterday did nothing! 40+2. Will try for one more sweep on Monday, then I think it's induction countdown.... Hmm

Spottyladybird · 17/11/2016 19:48

So fed up. Just want to cry this evening! 41 weeks today and no sign of baby at all, fed up of everyone asking if the baby has arrived and if I'm feeling ok. Even got a bloody email from Pampers congratulating me on the baby's arrival!

JadeT2 · 17/11/2016 20:17

Thanks for the well wishes, having a Radox bath as we speak, just hoping. Tell me about it Spotty, I got one from Mothercare telling me about the development of my one week old...!

EllieM22 · 18/11/2016 01:15

Had a bath with radox and nothing happened. Went in for lack of movement later on, the plan was for an induction but before they could start, i was contracting on my own. Had an exam and was 2cm so she swept me and is planning on sending me down to the labour ward shortly for waters breaking! Little bit terrified but it hasn't really sunk in yet!!!

RuskBaby · 18/11/2016 07:44

Hope things are moving well Ellie

Fedupithink · 18/11/2016 11:28

Good luck Ellie hope it all goes well!

Now 6 days overdue and still no sign. I am not happy!

Cailler · 18/11/2016 14:31

Just eaten an entire pineapple!! My mouth is burning. Had pains all day yesterday and woken up today to nothing. So frustrating

That's really exciting Ellie hope all is going well!

bobcat85 · 18/11/2016 16:14

Hello everyone, thanks for the congratulations and congrats to everyone who has had their babies.

Hang in there everyone who hasn't had their baby yet. Hope they make an appearance soon.

I don't think I've ever been so exhausted, had a combined total of 8 hours sleep in 4 days. We've moved to formula now as we were have some latching and supply issues so now my husband can help with the feeding. I'm also quite sore still from the 3 degree tear repair and carpal tunnel is still bad in my right wrist. Upside is I haven't had any heartburn and slept on my front for a little bit earlier. Baby is doing well and is starting to put a bit of weight on today after he was weighed yesterday and lost 9.5% of his birth weight.

AyeAmarok · 18/11/2016 17:30

Good to hear how you're getting on bobcat. Has a midwife or health visitor said how long you will feel sore for? I hope they are looking after you in that regard, and making sure you have pain relief.

bobcat85 · 18/11/2016 19:02

Thanks Aye.
They said the stitches should dissolve in about 2-3 weeks (I think, everything is a bit of a blur at the moment). I'm on antibiotics, stool softners and some pain killers so being well dosed up. They did check the stitches today and said they were healing nicely which is good.

Fedupithink · 18/11/2016 22:26

Ahh so good to hear you are doing well Bob

That is extreme Callier but if it works I'll let us know and I'll follow your lead!

Lots more babies being born in my classes, all due after me. 41 weeks tomorrow!

Congrats shadow Flowers

Aww ellie he's beautiful congratulations Flowers

I know I've already posted a piccy bit just wanted to announce bubba properly because the kids have finally named their baby sister (she's only 4 days old poor thing lol)
This is Alana born 15/11/16 weighing 8lb 2oz and she's a thumb sucker, and has her days and nights mixed up Confused so I should change the beginning of my username to exhausted! So worth it though.

So who's left to evict their babies? So many lately I've lost track Hmm

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 19/11/2016 18:40

Stroll waiting here tired... 40+6.

Spottyladybird · 19/11/2016 18:54

Still waiting here! 40 + 9!! Up for the longest pregnancy in history.

tiredmumrighthere · 19/11/2016 22:20

Oh bless you both, hang on in there!

Fedupithink · 19/11/2016 23:40

I'm still waiting, 41 weeks today and not happy!

I'm so fed up of all the calls and texts. Nobody seems to give a toss about me just straight in with "is the baby here yet" I'm not some vessel. Seriously considering banning visitors for the same period I end up overdue unless they ask how I am!

Went out for dinner with dh to forget about the fact I'm 41 weeks and all the waitress and the couple at the next table wanted to talk about was babies and how imminent it must be.

It doesn't feel imminent, I feel useless and uncomfortable, and worse like my body is letting me down and I'm terrified of induction and something going wrong at this late stage.

Sorry rant over!

Huge congratulations to Ellie and Shadow I really hope to join you soon!

Shadowboy · 19/11/2016 23:57

Aww Fedup, I felt awful up to the moment it all started, and was truest annoyed by any comments. I had walked the dog twice that day then had a curry. Got home and felt achey so had a shower and went to bed with what I thought was wind.... 45 min later th wind pain was far too regular and in waves to be wind

No other signs or symptoms of impending labour!

AyeAmarok · 19/11/2016 23:58

Lovely baby photos! Looks like Alana is enjoying that thumb!

Still waiting here too. 41 weeks yesterday.

Fedup you have literally just spoken my mind with this:

It doesn't feel imminent, I feel useless and uncomfortable, and worse like my body is letting me down and I'm terrified of induction and something going wrong at this late stage.

I feel exactly the same. I am constantly googling things that can go wrong and cause problems when baby is overdue and feel terrified that something awful is going to happen. Worry my waters have broken when I was in the shower and I didn't notice and then it will cause an infection. Worrying when the baby is sleeping and not moving. Worrying that it's hiccupping.

I think the worrying is stopping me going into labour, like my body is shutting down the relevant bits.

Big misery guts, me. Basically!
