Starting a fresh new thread for us!

I think Fedup asked about Elderberries and if anyone had heard from her... I haven't seen her name pop up in a while, but I'm not on the FB group either. I've been wondering the same about almondbutter, haven't seen her on here for a while now and know she was really suffering with sickness.

It's not quite as sharp as that, more of a dull pain I would say! It's important to remember to breathe and try to relax, but honestly I found relaxing impossible! My midwife has a student at the moment too so I was offered a second go but I just couldn't face it! Haha I felt bad for the student but I couldn't quite bring myself to have another so quickly.

Fedupithink · 15/11/2016 21:44

Congratulations Bob! Hope you recover soon and are able to head home.

Good luck Trying!

I'm feeling oddly calm tonight, slept really well last night and have had 2 decent naps and a dog walk today. Curry for dinner and now in the bath with raspberry leaf tea. Im certainly trying to cover all bases!

Shadowboy · 15/11/2016 21:55

Can I join in? I'm 40 weeks exactly today and not a sign! So so so fed up! Possibly lost a bit of mucus plug but couldn't really say for sure- how do you know the difference between the plug and the increased discharge?

I've tried walking/pineapple/curry. One last option- sex?! I feel about as sexy as a bin bag.

AyeAmarok · 15/11/2016 22:18

I could have written your post Shadow! If the midwife asked me about the mucus plug I'm going to have to say I've absolutely no idea Confused

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 16/11/2016 00:34

I haven't been on here in forever (and I was originally one of the 'users' till I finally worked out how to update my name) though I've been checking on everyone throughout. Wanted to check in and say the super moon obviously worked it's magic for me, 39 weeks today (Tuesday) and baby boy born this afternoon! I was certain I would go overdue as I'd had no signs at all but waters broke at 1am and by 4.30pm we were parents! Totally mental day but totally worth it! Good luck to all those waiting Smile

Fedupithink · 16/11/2016 04:57

Congratulations Chocolate!

I'm not sure either Shadow I think it's supposed to be much thicker and solid plus bloodstained? I haven't had mine yet and getting totally fed up.

I thought tonight would be the night but nope, no period pains, no braxton hicks nothing. Now officially 40+4. I want this baby to arrive!

tiredmumrighthere · 16/11/2016 05:09

Congratulations chocolate Smile

tiredmumrighthere · 16/11/2016 05:23

So at 9:44pm last night this little one came into the world Smile

2:30pm yesterday I had a bath in radox (the clary sage one)
3:45pm I started getting tightenings, at 8:15pm I phoned the hospital as contractions were coming every 5/6 mins and lasting about a minute long, we parked the car at 9:00pm I was having contractions every 2/3 mins by this point, examined at 9:20pm was told I was fully dilated Shock and she came 22 mins later! Xx

Shadowboy · 16/11/2016 09:23

Awww lush! Tiredmum congratulations! I need to try a hot bath I think!

Spottyladybird · 16/11/2016 09:24

Congratulations everyone! I've got a sweep this afternoon- I'm 40+6 now and the fed up feeling is really getting too much!

AyeAmarok · 16/11/2016 09:36

Congratulations tired! She's adorable!

RuskBaby · 16/11/2016 10:42

Congratulations on the arrivals. Had a lovely bath last night but without the radox, obvious fail!

TryingNotToWaddle · 16/11/2016 11:32

Congratulations chocolate!Flowers

Tired she is adorable!!! Halo

My Beautiful bundle came yesterday afternoon after a long hard slog.

FuzzyOwl · 16/11/2016 12:20

Congratulations Chocolate, Tired and Trying.

Shadow my plug was clear and jelly like gunk, with bits of blood (and meconium) in it.

Shadowboy · 16/11/2016 14:54

Well just had a sweep (relatively painful) but midwife could feel baby's head and said I was 1-2cm dilated so all looking favourable- so fingers crossed for some action in the next 24hours otherwise it's attempt 2 on Monday....

CocklesandMussels · 16/11/2016 15:29

Just checking in to catch up, and there's lots of lovely news.Congratulations everyone! And good luck to those who are still waiting, I hope they all hurry up for you.

Spottyladybird · 16/11/2016 16:39

shadow I just had one too and was the same- 1-2cm, soft and she managed to touch baby's head.

One thing she did say though was keep aggrevating it so bounce on the ball, walk with big strides and keep going up and downstairs. Booked in for induction next Tuesday so here's hoping this works!

Cailler · 16/11/2016 17:17

That's my evening sorted then Spotty !! Have had cramps all day since I woke up, but have been having them on and off for two weeks now so not getting my hopes up. Soo ready to meet this baby. And to not be pregnant anymore!

Huge congratulations to all those who have had their babies this week. Beautiful little girl tired

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 16/11/2016 17:20

Congratulations on all the babies! I've just had a failed sweep. Midwife couldn't find my cervix!! Angry

Fedupithink · 16/11/2016 18:03

Ahh congratulations Tired and Trying!! So happy for you both!

...also off to Tesco for clary sage radox...

EllieM22 · 16/11/2016 19:56

Congratulations to those with new babies 😊 Tired I am glad my due date buddy has had a baby but I would like mine very soon! Definitely going to tesco tomorrow for the radox!

tiredmumrighthere · 16/11/2016 20:57

Aww thank you all, totally in love but exhausted beyond belief, I woke up at 8:30am yesterday morning and haven't slept a wink since Confused although she was born at 9:44pm I actually didn't get put on a ward until 2:50am because delivery was manic!

When I did get baby settled I was then disturbed by nurses constantly asking me to go for a wee so they could measure it even though I didn't need to wee, they even tried to fit a catheter but after having stitches there was no way they was coming near me, I finally went at 9am and my god the pain Sad feeling much better than when I was pregnant but after pains are a killer!

Hope you all get your babies soon, and honestly I don't know if the radox was just coincidental but I wasn't having any pains before that bath I even massaged it into my bump while laying in the bath, always worth a try girls xx

JadeT2 · 17/11/2016 08:50

Congratulations to all you lucky people!

I'm now 41+2 and really fed up... It's been 48 hours since my sweep and nothing has happened except some slight bleeding. Looks like it will be the induction on Sunday.

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 17/11/2016 09:25

I hope things kick in before then, jade. 40+4 here and nothing!

EllieM22 · 17/11/2016 09:55

jade crossing my fingers for you that something happens! 40+3 today. Baby has 9 days to come on his own. Just been to tesco and managed to get the clary sage radox woo! Bath time now. I also have actual clary sage oil in a bottle and some lavender too, does anybody know whether they are worth adding to the bath?
