DD was up pretty much every hour last night, whenever she was asleep, I can't sleep because of restless legs and my mind going a million miles an hour with scanxiety. I'm on my knees with tiredness!

NameChange30 · 30/08/2016 07:51

I had a terrible night's sleep before my scan, too. Good luck to everyone with scans today, enjoy seeing your babies wriggling! Smile

Oh yes happy the restless legs. They haven't started yet but was a killer with dd.

I've had loads of stretching pains and hip pains this weekend. Hope it's not the start of spd.

Happygojo86 · 30/08/2016 08:03

My scan isn't til tomorrow so I have another night to survive and then my scan isn't til 3:30pm so I have all day to get myself into a right state

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 30/08/2016 08:22

Got my scan today, everything was fine at 9w and as we had a massive family occasion over a whole weekend we've ended up telling quite a few people. I'm now very anxious that something has gone wrong.

neonrainbow · 30/08/2016 08:30

I'm sure everything will be fine gin :) what times your scan?

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 30/08/2016 08:46

Not until 1:30... It's going to be a long morning!!

BridgetDoodle · 30/08/2016 08:54

I've been up since 5 worried about my scan! Why do we do this to ourselves?! I have to admit that I have access to a scanner in work so I have been giving myself little scans here and there and the baby is always wriggling about and getting bigger but still today I somehow think he's going to find something wrong! I'm not till 3.30 either, hope the day goes quickly!!!

How exciting hearing a heartbeat. It makes me want to buy a Doppler.

The bloating is odd isn't it, in the morning I can just about fit in normal
Clothes but by the evening I look about 4 months pregnant plus and have a solid tummy. Confusing to know what to wear.

alphabook · 30/08/2016 10:32

Good luck to those having scans today!

SpanielLedWeaning · 30/08/2016 10:37

Good luck and a hand hold to everyone having a scan this week. I know how you feel as I was convinced something was wrong before I went for my scan. I was so relieved when I immediately saw baby wriggling on the screen and I nearly burst into tears of relief. I sincerely hope you get that feeling too (even if it means you turn into a blubbing but happy mess!)

greentreeseverywhere · 30/08/2016 10:47

hi ladies. had an awful weekend. I started bleeding Friday night and lost lots on Sat so went to hospital and saw our tiny baby but no heart beat. so I'll be leaving now but wish you all luck with the future xxx

SpanielLedWeaning · 30/08/2016 10:54

So sorry to hear that Green, how heartbreaking. My thoughts are with you.

It is such a nerve wracking time and my fingers are crossed for everyone having their scans this week. Mine is on Friday and I had horrible nightmares about it last night. I hate feeling so powerless, this thing is happening inside me and I just have to hope it is ok.

Clarity77 I totally agree, in the mornings I barely look an different but by the end of the day I have doubled in size!

Clarity77 · 30/08/2016 12:11

Green that's horrible news and so difficult at this stage. You will get throught it but that that will be no comfort to you at the moment. Make sure you take lots of time off to recover properly.
