topkittycat correction from yesterday, my appointment is 16th September, not October, not sure what happened there! That would be ages to wait!

finova · 20/08/2016 10:30

Need to pack for our holiday. So lacking in motivation!
Just relaxing in bed with a 3 year old!

naranciata · 20/08/2016 10:45

On train to a wedding. Feeling so sicky. Woman next to me in danger of being sicked on.

I'm certain all of my friends will suss me out for not drinking at the wedding.

TopKittyKat · 20/08/2016 10:53

I've had the dreaded spotting this morning Sad
It's brown so I'm trying to stay positive but there was quite a lot. It's going to be a pant watch type of day...
I'm doing an assignment at the moment and so need to stay focused on that and try not to worry! easier said than done

SharkBastard · 20/08/2016 12:02

Keep positive TopKittyKat, hope your assignment is distracting you enough Flowers

hummingbird100 · 20/08/2016 12:20

I'm also feeding still jaffacake, my toddler just turned 2 and would feed all night if I let him!

I almost lost my rag in Greggs today when they had run out of bacon, told me to come back in 5 when some more would be trade, then when I got back they had run out again. Hormones. Angry

hummingbird100 · 20/08/2016 12:23

*ready not trade!

LucyRG · 20/08/2016 12:33

Hi everyone, due 20.04.17 dc#3
HG first trimester sufferer in last two PGs, keeping everything crossed it doesn't hit me this time!

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/08/2016 12:34

Fingers crossed its nothing topkittycat.
Hummingbird are you planning on tandem feeding?

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/08/2016 12:37

Hummingbird you have given me a bacon craving Grin

Bubbinsmakesthree · 20/08/2016 12:50

Oh my goodness jaffacakes that sounds exhausting!

Just taken my DS to GP as his chickenpox looked a bit infected - mentioned I was pregnant and GP was a bit 'oh dear!' - I am pretty sure I had chickenpox as a child but not 100% so I'm going to go back and get a blood test and verify that I'm immune.

hummingbird100 · 20/08/2016 12:59

I don't know jaffacakes, I was pregnant earlier this year and unfortunately had a mmc at 9 weeks. Last time when I got to 6 weeks my milk supply had plummeted and my nipples were sore. And I was so so nauseous and breastfeeding was the last thing I felt like doing. I think I'll see how it goes this time, if I get the soreness etc again I'll try get him down to just morning and nights and see how it goes through the pregnancy, I wouldn't want to wean him and upset him with a new baby coming but I guess he may wean himself over the next few months. Have you given any thought to tandem feeding?

I found an alternative bacon sandwich shop, then gave the DH silent treatment as he ordered them and asked for sausage in his too, which I decided I wanted. Jerk.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 20/08/2016 13:11

Grin about the bacon sandwich strop - the irrational grumpiness hasn't hit me yet but DH is already fearing it knowing what he had to put up with last time!

The worst thing that happened to me last time was going to dinner party. My friend had enquired in advance about what I couldn't eat then served up meal where every single course was from the banned list - pate, rare meat, chocolate mousse with raw egg. I got some basic substitutions at least so I didn't starve, but the final straw was a cheese board groaning with delicious unpasteurised cheeses - not asingle one was suitable for me to eat. I had to sit there for an hour whilst people were loading their plates with Brie and Camembert and drinking port whilst I was seething inside! Still haven't forgiven them!

MilkyChops · 20/08/2016 13:30

@bubbinsmakesthree - oh man, what a killer. I don't think i'd be able to sit and watch someone eat a camembert. I'd have to leave the room. It's my favourite. Mmmm..and stilton. I just love cheese.

May have eaten an entire Mozarella for lunch. Only had tomatoes with it though so figured it balances out Grin.

I've still got some blood stained ermm.. secretions.. is that the right word. Completely symptomless too, not sleeping properly either. Roll on Tuesday.

@hummingbird - did he give you his sausage like any good husband should?

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/08/2016 14:09

Humming bird I'm not sure, I can't honestly see how I could get him to stop, he loves his milk and still feeds like a newborn Confused I'm 7+2 and slightly sore but pretty much the same as I was around af/ ovulation. I had terrible Vasospasm until he was 11 months so the soreness seems like nothing. He's very small, he's nearly 17months but I only just this morning packed up the 6-9 month clothes so I'm a bit worried about night weaning incase he loses weight! So yes I will probably tandem feed, I do need to night wean though before the baby arrives, was hoping it would happen of its own accord? Maybe if my milk starts drying up due to pregnancy then he might be less inclined to wake up for it..... Maybe

Celen · 20/08/2016 14:46

I hope the spotting is nothing relevant TopKittyKat, keeping fx

Another day and I'm not feeling pregnant at all now. Might give EPU a ring in the morning although I know they won't be able to get me in for several days - wonder if I should cancel my MW appt on Thursday Sad

hummingbird100 · 20/08/2016 14:47

milky he did offer his sausage but I declined and then kept saying 'hope you're enjoying that sausage' in a very PA manner Grin

jaffacakes aw that sounds hard, you did brilliantly to get through 11 months of that! Luckily we've had a relatively easy time of bf and I just haven't got round to stopping yet, it's been fantastic when he's been poorly as he'll have milk if nothing else. The sore nipples last time I was pregnant were awful though, I'm really hoping they're not as bad this time Confused he got a bit constipated too as he wasn't taking in as much milk

choccybiscuit · 20/08/2016 15:04

topkittykat I'm having the same spotting pink for nearly two weeks, today it's more brown though, had it while shopping in Westfield. I'm so sick of it, I hardly have a day pass without seeing it. I might call a mw next week to see what they say. I hope your spotting leaves you soon.

MyGreenSofa · 20/08/2016 15:35

Celen - I think you should definitely keep your MW appointment unless you see someone from the EPU in the mean time who tells you otherwise. Then you can tell them your concerns at least, perhaps they will do an early scan? Have you taken another pregnancy test?

I'm feeling pretty symptomless too and it is worrying Sad

TopKittyKat · 20/08/2016 15:39

Thanks for all the supportive comments. It's eased off a bit now.

Choccy - that's awful having it for weeks.

Celen - I hope everything is ok with you. You may just be one of the lucky ones and not have many symptoms. Although I can understand that would bring its own worries.

I can't wait until we've all had scans and are reassured. What will be the next thing we worry about Grin

Benby · 20/08/2016 16:19

Hi guys hope everyone is well. I has a nice lie on this morning which was lovely 😆.
Got up and pottering about realise the roof which i've had fixed about 6 times is still leaking 😠 and has stained the new ceiling we had put up after the last leak. I'm like a lunatic. It's bucketing down here and the basin in the attic is not going to cut it. Feel like killing dh as it was his cousin who fixed it last.

MyGreenSofa · 20/08/2016 16:30

We have had similar issues Benby - hope you get it sorted soon! It's so annoying!

Number4OnTheWay · 20/08/2016 16:43

Oh no Benby!! Rubbish.
I also had a bacon craving after reading the bacon and sausage post! Went to Greg's who had no bacon and cheese wraps left :( in my lat pregnancy I made and froze my own I craved them that much.

I'm starting to get a little concerned. My pregnancy symptoms are ridiculously strong considering, by my calculations I turned 4 weeks yesterday! (I know we conceived either just before or while we were camping Blush as we didn't do it an awful lot! I have sickness, sore boobs, aversion to smells, I'm starting to show!? (OK so it's just bloat and I had a belly after dc3 so not completely suprised, but I'm paranoid about it)
Add to that the fact I have never before in all of my 9 previous pregnancies had a positive before 6 weeks (this time it was positive at 3.5...I'm slightly concerned it might be twins?!

Superbabywright · 20/08/2016 16:44

Hi everyone.
We are expecting DC#2, due 22 April 2017.

DD has just turned 5 and we have been trying for a while. Was just about to make my first appointment regarding infertility and a lovely BFP showed it's face before I had to :) So safe to say we are over the moon.
I hope everyone is well and hope we are all thinking sticky thoughts x
