Thanks for the lovely comments and concern ladies Flowers Its great to have somewhere to talk about things when the big wide world doesn't know!

They don't know what is causing the pain, possibly constipation Blush although my bowel looked ok on the scan. I was just told to go home, take paracetamol if needed, rest, plenty fluids, etc & contact GP/out of hours if it doesn't improve or gets worse.

Mamato1 · 19/08/2016 20:36

Over the moon that everything has gone OK in scans/checkups today ladies. I bet that's a massive relief!
It's also really nice seeing everyone arrange antenatal care. Doesn't it make things feel more real? My booking appointment is 7th Sept and early scan on 5th Grin Busy and hopefully happy week! I've also been invited to an information session where I can get my hospital notes but I'll be at work or on holiday when they're scheduled. Bummer!

Sickness hit me big style today at 6+1. I was useless at work and my boss guessed straight away! Nee good!

My skin also resembles that of a teenager at the moment. It's actually painful Sad Hope everyone is feeling ok tonight.

Number4OnTheWay · 19/08/2016 20:55

Yea!! Then I'll stay 😄
Monkey, yes sick is the new hungry!! Eat little and often and you should (hopefully) keep it at bay
I've not even thought about booking in yet! I do need to contact the epau to organise an early scan though (recurrent miscareage) its nerve wracking but I have a good feeling about this one Grin

Bubbinsmakesthree · 19/08/2016 20:58

Being stuck indoors all day with a chickenpox-risen DS I've not been able get out to the shops to buy food. Never fear I thought, I've got sausages in the fridge so a sausage sandwich will do for my dinner. Except I discovered the sausages were three days out of date. Normally I'd give them a sniff and eat them but I get hyper-paranoid when I'm pregnant.

So change of plan - 4 fish fingers in the freezer, I'll have a fish finger sandwich.

I've only gone and set fire to the grill pan and turned them to charcoal! Shock

So I have just eaten a banana and peanut butter sandwich for my dinner (which was to be fair pretty good!)

MilkyChops · 19/08/2016 21:33

@bubbinsmakesthree this sounds like me during my last pregnancy, i set fire to a sweetpotato in the microwave, i dropped everything, i was a disaster haha

ChatEnOeuf · 19/08/2016 21:33

Pleased to see lovely scan news here today :)

I need to pluck up the courage to contact the MWs - I just really don't want to have to cancel the appt if it all goes wrong. I cried down the phone a lot last time that happened Sad Blush

I wouldn't travel anywhere I wasn't 100% trusting of the healthcare wherever I was. Mainland Europe is probably okay for the most part, but I personally would steer clear of developing nations. But I'm a pretty complex case, pretty pessimistic about all things pregnancy and I wouldn't want to have to do it all in another language.

SharkBastard · 19/08/2016 21:59

I'm exactly the same regarding calling the GP/Midwife ChatEnOeuf! Glad I'm not alone in that...gonna leave it till I'm 7 weeks as I didn't get that far with the last 2 so that's my 'it may well happen' goal!

BertieBotts · 19/08/2016 22:04

Well if anyone needs advice on germany I'm your woman. Slightly specific and unhelpful though I suppose.

We are going home tomorrow which will be nice. Holiday has been fun but looking forward to our own space and things. We've been sharing accommodation with friends who have a six month old which has been a combination of lovely and stressful!

I'm the same shark and chat I'm too scared to book in with MW, I have more blood tests at EPU tomorrow so maybe if the results are good I'll book in!

marmitecheesetoast · 19/08/2016 22:24

I seem to have loads more energy and generally feeling better tonight. So much so I've been for a (short) run this evening after work and baked a cherry and almond cake! (I don't generally bake)
hope this doesn't mean anything is wrong with the bean

Bakersdelight · 19/08/2016 22:34

EDD 15 April DC#1

Appt with GP for midwife referral. Early scan next Wednesday!

Bakersdelight · 19/08/2016 22:35

5th pregnancy

Helbelle75 · 19/08/2016 23:05

Phew! Busy thread.
I've felt quite sick all day really and been very tired and dizzy. Perked up a bit this evening, although i got DH to drive me to my singing rehearsal ads I didn't really feel safe to drive.
Very exciting to hear of everyone's scan bookings.

Benby · 20/08/2016 00:35

Hi guys can I join. I have 2 dd's and 1 ds so this will be my 4th baby (please god) but it's my 8th pregnancy. I have an earlyish scan next Friday at 7w 5 days hope all will be well. I have really bad nausea all the time trying to eat little and often but not always working.
I'm lucky my mam is here with me otherwise my other 3 would be neglected 😆.
Benby due date 9th April dc4 ( pregnancy 8)
Also this will be c section #4 all going well and a little nervous abut that too.

BertieBotts · 20/08/2016 06:07

I got a terrible night's sleep last night. Woke up at 5am starving, full bladder and thirsty. I needed to wake up at 7 so I couldn't even get up and then go back to sleep.

Then had horrible dream that I went to visit my dad and he had his wheelie bin and fridge next to each other in the bedroom and the bin was crawling with mice! Yuck.

Number4OnTheWay · 20/08/2016 06:41

Ewww Bertie!!! Pregnancy dreams are in full swing then!? Its funny what these hormones do to us!
Welcome Benby, I'm expecting DC 4 too! I'm on pregnancy 10, so completely get how you're feeling. Look after yourself and take things eashy.

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/08/2016 06:43

Hello benby! This is also my dc4 and will
Also be a section, think we must only be a couple of days apart too :-)

Celen · 20/08/2016 07:09

I had some slightly sexy dreams last night involving Ian Somerhalder Blush

I rather regret waking up Grin

MilkyChops · 20/08/2016 07:22

I'm feeling hard done by because my toddler woke up an hour earlier than usual. Well it wasn't his fault. My husband spoke really loud to me before he went to work Angry

JennyOfOldstones · 20/08/2016 07:47

My little angel was up for the day at 5. Thank god it is Saturday so I am going back to bed now DP is up.

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/08/2016 08:06

My 17 month old is breastfed and still feeds hourly at night, I really need to night wean but I don't have the energy, officially running on empty currently, dh having a lie in. Angry

MilkyChops · 20/08/2016 08:06

It was 6.45 so not too severe but DH is in work now. I've resorted to Kate and Mim-mim DVD and we're on the sofa.

He's going to MILs for a few hours later to play in his sandpit. He keeps walking round the house with a bucket and spade but can't find any sand Grin

MilkyChops · 20/08/2016 08:07

@jaffacakes - I'd be kicking him straight out of bed in the mornings Grin

choccybiscuit · 20/08/2016 08:30

jaffacakes you must be exhausted! Well done though. I usually find it difficult to lie in at the weekends, I still wake up at 6.20 on the dot because of work, but today I had a lovely lie in till 8! celen I'm with you on the dreams, every night a have dreams now, not as nice as yours though. Grin
