Just catching up with the thread, so sorry otter and hope you are ok mumi, the waiting must be awful. And all those with spotting and worrying symptoms. Think it's ok to be fed up with the symptoms while at the same time being really glad to be pregnant. I'm going to repeat my mantra to everyone though - hydrate hydrate hydrate, especially in this heat!

And congratulations Abacha, eek! I always had a little hope that it might be twins the last times but not sure my dh would survive the shock this time, he took enough convincing to go for number 3!

I've been feeling really tired today and have not fancied any food today at all, hungry but don't know what for! And still sooooo thirsty. Off on hols tomorrow and can't face finishing the packing, wish I could teleport directly there with all the things I need. Not looking forward to a flight with a wriggly 18 month old on my lap plus a 3 year old tomorrow. But am looking forward to lovely relaxing holiday, and a break from hiding my ridiculous 6 week baby bump

Maybe the sex is better partly because the ttc pressure disappears! Can certainly take some of the fun out of it!

That's very true theknitting!! No pressure just completely relaxed and totally spontaneous with out thinking about ovulation probably added to it!

Who was it that just said their toddler has a cloth bum??? I need to talk to you (not right now obvuously!) But I started cloth bumming dc3 and want to do it again, but couldn't continue with him as he kept leaking :(

Hi all. Been scared to sign in as I've had a bit of spotting too and am feeling quite anxious but had an early scan this morning and am 6+1 so tentative due date is April 18th (I think). It's my first pregnancy and came as a bit of a surprise as I'm suspected PCOS so relieved to be here naturally.
This spotting is a nightmare though - it's so hard not to imagine the worst.

I am going to call tomorrow to book my appointment. Eek

I think I need to confide in my friend (who saw me in a bikini today) and ask if she can be honest and say if there's any way my boss won't guess! I do normally have a bit of a mum tum but it's so bloated right now it just doesn't seem to go away at all even when I suck it in.

Just moved my due date

Today could be interesting, I don't think my little one likes the heat as he woke every 2hours last night. He's been sleeping through for the last 4 or 5 weeks so it was a bit of a shock to the system. Have my first appt with my midwife today though which I am looking forward to.

I could call the frauenarzt and they will probably see me but I was going to go next week. If I go today or tomorrow they will take blood. I guess they would anyway though and it's better to know...

I'd probably have to take DS (7) with me which wouldn't be much fun though I could just leave him at home I suppose, it wouldn't take that long.

I would feel a bit silly going along for three spots and a smear of blood!

I really want to cry. I just plucked up the courage to ring the epau to book in some scans and their policy has changed. Despite the fact I've had 6 miscarriages in the past and have a medical issue that causes miscarriage, they won't be offering me any early scans. I feel like I've been punched in the gut as I was really relying on these scans to get me through. I'm now going to have to book in with a midwife unsure if this pregnancy is viable and go through the ridiculousness of giving all my history. Booking appointments only to have to cancel if it all goes wrong.
This really really doesn't seem fair.
Unless of course I lie to them and tell them my last miscarriage was more recent than it was surely it doesn't matter when it was I'VE HAD 6!!!!

Oh no Number4! Can you afford a private scan? Someone was passing around a groupon link if that's still active?

Or what about seeing if you can get hold of a home doppler? Apparently it's possible to hear a heartbeat on one from 6 weeks - but it can be hard to find.

*Number4 just tell them you have a pain on your left side and your worried it could be ectopic! Best to be safe then worried
