Thanks Celen. So do you think no need to worry unless it gets painful or heavy?

Number4OnTheWay · 23/08/2016 17:22

Sarahhh we are talking about those pains just before you joined us I think! I have them and Bertie (??? My memory is rubbish!!) Has them and I've had them in previous pregnancies. A small amount of brown discharge isn't something to be worried about (says she who would be totally freaked out Blush) and the pains are just stretching of the uterus getting ready to grow Smile

Number4OnTheWay · 23/08/2016 17:22

Were not are Confused its a new phone and auto correct still isn't used to me!

RaRa25 · 23/08/2016 17:30

Sarah I have the exactly the same, mine was darker yesterday but today it is like you described. I think it is normal for some so I am trying not to worry.

Dandelionrarrrr · 23/08/2016 18:16

Sarah I had a little bit like you, I know there can be a little bit of bloody discharge that can be an outcome of implantation had a little bit during my last pregnancy. I've had lots of little twinges around my pelvis I'm pretty sure I had those last time too. We are so hypersensitive to all the goings on inside, I'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about perhaps ask your mw for reassurance.

sarahhh1984 · 23/08/2016 18:27

Thanks, Number4, RaRa and Dandelion. That's really reassuring. Smile Will just try to ignore it unless it changes - and will try to go a few hours without thinking about my uterus! Shock

jpeg28 · 23/08/2016 18:32

sarah I had it for about 5 days, it got darker and heavier and the doctor was not worried about it at all, she said lots of people get it as left over old blood from implantation. If you are worried (which you don't need to be, although that's easier said than done!) I went to the GP and then EPU to get checked out.

MrsRhubarb · 23/08/2016 18:41

Sarahhh I had cramping feelings like I was about to come on for ages in my first pregnancy, it made me so paranoid and I remember checking everytime I wiped. It hasn't been so bad second time around, I think everything is already stretched!

sarahhh1984 · 23/08/2016 18:55

Thanks jpeg and MrsRhubarb. Smile If it's worrying me tomorrow I'll get in to see my GP (not met my mw yet) and see what he says. In the meantime I'll try to ignore it and find something funny to watch on TV to take my mind off it!

Thanks ladies - it's great having people who've experienced this to talk to as the only person who knows I'm pg is my DH and he's not much help with stuff like spotting!

BertieBotts · 23/08/2016 18:58

Oh yes I can't remember if I mentioned the stretching feelings on this thread but I've certainly had them in all three pregnancies.

Sometimes as well if I stand up too fast I get a twinge like I pulled a muscle in there somewhere, I remember that from the first time, it's normal.

I've already put on about a kg Blush I'm not sure that's supposed to happen yet but oh well. It's not like I don't need it. (It's probably all boob...)

I have had a lovely nap today.

RaRa25 · 23/08/2016 18:58

I know what you mean Sarah. when I told DH I was spotting, he said "what, you mean leaking down there!" Not quite love!

DeepFriedCamembert · 23/08/2016 19:00

Due 20th April. DC number 2 (I have DS age 2)

ChatEnOeuf · 23/08/2016 20:31

Sorry to see you're in limbo Mumi. Keeping everything crossed that sac is filled with relief next week Flowers

I'm in the pants watch gang too - can't relax.

hummingbird100 · 23/08/2016 20:31

My toddler just pushed me in the lower belly with his foot when I was wrangling him to sleep - I'm only 5 weeks or so and it was t even hard but I went all cold with worry! Confused I wish I hadn't found out so soon (it was about 3+5), it makes it so stressful...

Bubbinsmakesthree · 23/08/2016 20:50

I went to see GP today about my exposure to chickenpox and they're sending me to the hospital for urgent bloods - got to be there at 7:30 tomorrow morning! Shock

MrsRhubarb · 23/08/2016 20:56

Gosh that's early Bubbin! I was feeling like a martyr for my 8.20 appointment with my GP though with a toddler that's practically midday but 7.30 is stupidly early to have to navigate around a hospital

Excited that tomorrow if the first "official" pregnancy appointment, even though it will be a bit of a waste of time. At least then I'll get the date for my booking appointment and start counting down to that.

Potty training Day Two and we braved Tesco. She was brilliant, told me when she needed a wee, and even managed on a normal sized loo seat (with me holding her up, she's got such a tiny bottom without a cloth nappy on!). Poo's are still an issue.

loulou1609 · 23/08/2016 21:15

Hi Everyone!
hope you don't mind me joining in, I'm due 1st April. Its my first pregnancy so thought I could do with all the help I can get! so far only a little bit of nausea, very sore boobs & trousers quickly getting too tight!

Superbabywright · 23/08/2016 22:27

Seriously, my boobs are so sore today. I'm struggling to walk without them hurting.
I told my final family member today. I'm approximately 5+3 but I can't keep it in and I couldn't tell one and not the others. I love giving good news. I'm the only one who hasn't cried though. I'm guessing the emotional hormones aren't as strong this time around (although I had a little weep the other day when a P!nk song came on the radio haha) x

hummingbird100 · 23/08/2016 22:32

superbabywright I think I'm 5+3, are you due 25 April?

BertieBotts · 23/08/2016 22:46

Mine aren't really sore, just enormous. I did have to buy a sports bra last time though just for walking around, might dig it out again.

I'm due 26th and am 4+6 today but TBH, I've lost track what is from when! I think I'll just wait until I get an "official" due date from some kind of professional.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 24/08/2016 05:51

I've had an uninterrupted night's sleep for the first time in weeks - bliss! (although could have done without waking up at 5:30!). Between unsettled toddler and preggo insomnia I have been spending far too much time awake at night.

MonkeyArms · 24/08/2016 06:07

I woke up at 1 having had a dream that I was parachuting. I couldnt work out for ages why I wasn't slowing down as much as I should be. About 100 foot above the ground I realised it was because one side of the parachute wasn't attached and so started grabbing for it and then woke up. Took a while to get back to sleep after that one...

SharkBastard · 24/08/2016 06:13

My boobs were super sore yesterday, they hurt when walking too! Taking my bra off is horrible, it's a pleasure usually but not since pregnancy...could yell they hurt so much!

No sickness yet, seeing what 6 weeks brings (Sunday onwards). Hope it doesn't hit too bad :/

Hope everyone is OK

Celen · 24/08/2016 06:52

How are you this morning Mumi, were you able to get any results last night?
