started bleeding (old blood, not fresh) 2 days ago.
emergency scan yesterday, foetal sack and yolk sack both present but no foetal pole. So either I ovulated later than I thought or I'll miscarry soon. I just have to wait and see, rescanning on the 19th to find out whether anything is developing

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 11:32

worn fx for you Flowers

Cloeycat · 11/08/2016 11:46

Currently at a Gin tasting with work...... Trying to hide the fact I'm just drinking Tonic 😂

LRDtheFeministDragon · 11/08/2016 11:51

Thinking of you, worn.

MrsMushrooms · 11/08/2016 12:03

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, boots!

Carol, I get that when I sneeze as well! Also if I cough too hard and sometimes when I stand up. It's so weird!

rbucz · 11/08/2016 12:45

Boots keeping my fingers crossed for you too.

Carol same sharp pains for me too, guess things are just loosening up around there and sudden movements cause a bit of a jolt.

Anyone getting weirded out by the growing boobs? I only really noticed yesterday how chunkier they've gotten, I need new bras!

SuperDuperJezebel · 11/08/2016 12:53

Mine are huge, most of my tops don't fit over them anymore. Also get pain when I sneeze, gasped so loud the other day with it that DH looked up, panicked, to see what was going on!

Tigger1987 · 11/08/2016 13:03

Yesterday I had an early pregnancy scan just for peace of mind. My IBS had really flared up so it was tricky at first for the sonographer to find anything past the gas BlushShock. Eventually found the baby and a heartbeat. I thought I was 7wk 4 days but she dated me as 8 wks. It is starting to feel a little bit more real now!!

Fx for everyone who is having bleeding or worries, this first trimester is exhausting emotionally and physically! Flowers Flowers

DP's had new bras for a couple of weeks, RB - she is freaking out too! Also about the little bumps on the aureola. I have always been told these are milk ducts showing up, but I actually have no idea if that's right or just a myth - anyone know?

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 13:08

lovely scan tiger

I've always had big boobs (38G) but over the past couple of weeks, they do feel heavier, and my bras are getting a little tight in the cup leaving seam lines etc, so might have to measure and get some new ones.

Tigger1987 · 11/08/2016 13:13

Thank you CarolAnn.

I have already gone up a cup size but I was only a B to begin with. I brought a non-wired bra and it is like a dream. The only thing I am finding is I can't hug anyone without being in such pain!

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 13:24

Wish I could find a non-wired bra that doesn't give me mono boob or 4 boobs lol

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 13:42

Well I give up, tried going back through our treads to fine the bra link, can't find it Sad

wornoutboots · 11/08/2016 14:18

if it gives you 4 boobs it's a wrong size!

Gardencentregroupie · 11/08/2016 14:25

carolann the Royce nursing bras go up to something like a 44K and mine don't give me a monoboob.

neonrainbow · 11/08/2016 14:43

I've been struggling with jeans. Im on a super tight budget so got a pair of primark jeggings for £6 in a size bigger than i am.. theyre amazingly comfortable no more tight hurting belly for now!

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 14:44

worn I know, I mean even if I get my size they are wrong

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 14:44

thanks Garden

Gardencentregroupie · 11/08/2016 14:45

neon I am currently in a pair of New Look jeggings a size up for the same reason :)

alphabook · 11/08/2016 14:50

Really sorry boots, how far along do you think you are?

Rbucz normally I'm a 32e, thought maybe I'd gone up a cup size and it's saying 32h! Shock I've been meaning to go bra shopping for weeks and I'm finally going to go this weekend.

Great news tigger!

wornoutboots · 11/08/2016 15:06

alphabook going from when my period was, I should be 8 weeks on friday.
but who knows, ovulation isn't always on time. and my reproductive system could well still be a bit off on timing due to miscarrying earlier this year

SuperDuperJezebel · 11/08/2016 15:10

I just bought a load of maternity clothes from h&m, got 7 things for less than £100 and they're great. All the tops are gathered on the side seams so they fit now but they have plenty of give. The over bump jeans were so comfy but I'm not sure I can get away with wearing them yet at 10+5!

wornoutboots · 11/08/2016 15:11

I second the Royce recommendation (wearing a 40L one atm because of BFing my 1 year old)

Carolann8584 · 11/08/2016 15:15

Having one of those days, just sat here by myself (well apart from you lot on here and beany Smile) and just had an urge to cry! don't know why but obviously don't need a reason at the mo.

Fingers crossed Boots, sounds as though it's still early days for you so no feral pole could be normal for where you are in this pregnancy.

I don't work on Thursdays and just had the best nap with my daughter but woke up feeling queasy. I am obsessed with pink grapefruit a (had this last time too) so just relished one but still feeling rough :( the thought of crisps, my usual nausea abating snack, is making me feel worse...
Luckily DH has taken DD out so I can mope about alone. I really should do some chores as we have guests arriving soon but I am sitting on the sofa doing nothing.
