Before having DS I wondered whether I would find it harder to identify with him than I would with a girl. Would I find it harder to bond with him? I can honestly say that since he arrived there has not been one second where I wished he was a girl. He is awesome. I can't imagine a better child. I love him so much, and I am the centre of his world and he mine. He is just the best thing ever. Now I would be thrilled to have another boy! A girl would of course be lovely too, but the thought of seeing DS with a little brother makes me feel all gooey

Saying that DS worships DH, and thinks I'm a bit boring in comparison. Probably because we spend all day every day together & DH works away 4 days on, 4 days off so he is a treat.

Oh no tutu! I think it just means the angle of the baby/image is such that it's not visible. I think it's very common. Annoying not to be able to guess though. Now i feel bad for bringing it up

Got a letter for an appt with the consultant at the hospital on monday 5th which is helpful because the midwife told me it would be locally and it'd be a Thursday. It's at a really awkward time to take time off work, I'll still have 2/3 of the kids I look after off school. my boss can't really just come home for a couple of hours but I think I've found cover. Do you think in future they'll let me take a well behaved baby with me?

Oh no dusty on the contrary I've enjoyed the suspense of the theory it's been fun!! Love these little theories. So thanks for sharing. I'm trying to convince DH that we should have a gender scan at 16 weeks (it's £45 which I think is reasonable) but when he asked why I'd want one I was like Erm because I'm impatient so I don't think that's happening now ha ha.

Also want a gender scan... That's a bargain, it's about 3x that here! Where do you live?
