Cinnamon and FXskip so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourselves lovely ladies.

Butterpuff · 27/07/2016 08:27

Hi can I join in?

I'm pg with #2 and have been feeling light nausea and hugely tired for about a week. Last time I lost well over a stone on the first trimester from the nausea. I'm hoping it won't be so bad this time around. Waiting for my booking appointment now and a first guess at due date.

Cantstringawordtogether · 27/07/2016 08:44

Congrats Butterpuff

Bridget lovely scan news :)

I'm 9 weeks today Shock and in the last week my belly has definitely popped, haven't put on any weight so it's definitely baby related! Sure I already knew my poor tummy muscles were knackered so they are just totally unable to offer any resistance at all to any little bit of growth! Just as well I'm off work for the summer :)

NameChange30 · 27/07/2016 09:13

Cantstring Jealous of you being off work for the summer! I'm feeling particularly tired today and dragging my arse out of bed and to work has been torture... I'm 8+6 and definitely have a bigger tummy. At first I thought I was just getting fatter but actually I think it must be my muscles relaxing and uterus growing, it can't all be fat! Need more loose tops if I'm going to hide it for another month Blush

Gardencentregroupie · 27/07/2016 09:35

I'm shattered. DD is on a nursing frenzy worse than a newborn. It's like she knows something is up. It's getting painful as well. Something Must Be Done. Sigh.

Carolann8584 · 27/07/2016 09:56

First night without stomach cramps!! yay!! Although my DH decided to wake me at 6:11 asking where his breakfast was, He was sleep talking, doesn't remember a thing lol told him go back to sleep you don't need to be up for another hour. Grin

ElsaMars · 27/07/2016 10:26

I started crying listening to a song in the car this morning. No not a soppy, sentimental tune but Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes! Thought what a great song it was and started bawling Confused Grin

The Amy Winehouse came on which made it worse!

AngelBlue12 · 27/07/2016 11:51

Carolann Yay to no stomach cramps! Lol at your DH. At the moment my 4yr old and 20 month old are taking it in turns to wake me up at night, one will sleep through but the other won't!

Red pepper tastes weird today and the thought of normal coke makes me want to puke, I can drink cherry coke though which normally I can't stand!

Anyway, I have 5 girls so what do you all think this bubba will be?! :D

Cantstringawordtogether · 27/07/2016 12:07

Angel I predict another girl :) I'm ALWAYS wrong though, only been right on my own pregnancies once out of 5 so far! Will probably find out this time, found out last time but not on any of the others. I'm guessing girl for myself too purely because it would even up the numbers here (veg scientific)

Cantstringawordtogether · 27/07/2016 12:08

Oh carolann delighted to hear cramps have eased up!

jessm2109 · 27/07/2016 12:11

Hi all, can I join this thread?
I have just found out I am pregnant, first baby. If i've calculated correctly I will be due around 30th March. (am 5 weeks at the mo)
Got an appointment this weekend to find out due date.

Very excited!!! Grin

Leanneg87 · 27/07/2016 12:16

Jessm2109 we are only 2 days apart, my first too Smile congratulations!

jessm2109 · 27/07/2016 12:22

Leanneg87 How exciting! Congratulations too! Smile
How have you felt so far? It's so early on, I don't think i've felt any symptoms that i've read about! I'm so impatient I can't wait till my appointment at the weekend - just need a doc conformation!

hulahula10 · 27/07/2016 14:00

Came back to say I'm now a married woman!

I couldn't keep it in and ended up telling him the day before the wedding and I'm so glad because we were both crying our eyes out and I would have definitely ruined my makeup

5+6 and feeling okay now, and turns out non alcoholic strawberry daquris are pretty good

NameChange30 · 27/07/2016 14:21

Congrats hula! Smile

Carolann8584 · 27/07/2016 14:27

Wow congrats HULA

We had an emotional weekend when we found out, got engaged on the Friday, my birthday on the Saturday and BFP on the Sunday Smile

So happy for you (and your daquris') Wink

Cantstringawordtogether · 27/07/2016 14:27

Awwwww congrats hula!!!

Carolann8584 · 27/07/2016 15:13

Just found out, there's an ultrasound clinic on the first of the building I work in, and they do early scans from 6 weeks for £95, slightly tempted to have one. I am so impatient lol

xx

PeanutButter82 · 27/07/2016 16:26

Hello

I hope you don't mind me joining in! It's so reassuring to read that other people are going through the same thing as me and that the cramps I've been having aren't necessarily a bad sign.

Name: PeanutButter82
Age: 34
EDD: Could be 5th March or 20th March as I must have conceived either very early or very late in my usual cycle (wasn't testing for ovulation so I'm not sure when it fell this month). DH & I both had dreadful colds during the middle of the month, when I should have ovulated, so we didn't go near each other! I have a private scan booked tomorrow so hope to learn more then.
DC #1 (had a MC in 2012 though)
I am in London too.

Leanneg87 · 27/07/2016 17:14

Jessm2109 I've been feeling terrible until today. Being on night shifts probably haven't helped to be honest. So bloated and can't fit into my jeans already Hmm it's a sign of what's to come I think.

AngelBlue12 · 27/07/2016 18:11

cant my DH says he is positive it's another girl too!

I am really going to try hard not to put on too much weight this time - I'm about 25 pounds heavier than I should be so I reckon that if I eat properly I should be able to stay more or less the same (but I'll probably cave and eat way too much junk like normal...)

deuscat · 27/07/2016 18:45

Congrats hula!

I'm 6 weeks today and already have a bump. It's ridiculous. No idea how I will hide this for another 6-7 weeks. Admittedly I do just look a bit fat at the moment but having a child who is now 19 months means people have been asking if we will have another and some savvy folk might be able to work it out. I dug out my maternity clothes but daren't wear them yet because they all accentuate the bump. I just don't own anything baggy! Anyone else struggling to conceal a growing bump? I'm sure first time I was ok till closer to 12 weeks.

alphabook · 27/07/2016 19:51

Congrats hula and the new BFPs!

I'm permanently bloated and slightly pregnant looking so it'll probably be a while until I have a bump beyond my usual bump!

OP posts:
ElsaMars · 27/07/2016 19:56

I'm really bloated too, I look so wide, it's embarrassing! Xx

AllotmentJunkie · 27/07/2016 20:20

Congrats to all the new BFPs, Bridget for the happy scan and Hula for wedding bliss

Can I just celebrate that I am the most pregant I have ever been it is only 5+1 but still quite a big deal for me, im feeling really positive at the moment.
