March 2017 continued!

Abbinobb I would just phone your GP surgery and ask the receptionist. At my surgery they just book you straight in with the midwife at 8 weeks for booking in.

3 weeks till my booking in. I can't wait because then it might start to feel more real. No nausea here at all yet!

OK ladies this might be TMI, anyone dtd since they found out? my nausea died down for the day but then I got motion sickness during lol xx

carol I have DTD a few times since finding out my sex drive has increased (it was high enough before but my OH isn't complaining lol) I've not had any sickness feelings during.

Carol yes I've dtd quite a few times since finding out at 4+1, I'm now 6+6. Then again I haven't got any nausea/vomiting at all so I can't really help you with the motion sickness issue
Anyone else find that it feels way better now you're pregnant? All that increased blood flow to the area is great

I couldn't agree more zannah even more enjoyable.

I've dtd twice (in 6 weeks . Poor dh) but i had spotting the day after and it scared me so i said no more! He understands. But aside from anything ive been exhausted every evening and I've never been a morning person!

I'm excited but worried it might show sad news. I need to stop over thinking and worrying about it all sure it's not good for us! I really hope it outs my mind at ease and I can relax and enjoy the pregnancy

How can I stay calm for my early scan? Last time they told me baby was in the wrong place, so I'm really worried. If it's another ectopic, it's game over

Greentrees I had an 8 week scan this week and it was amazing to see the heartbeat! I feel like I can relax slightly and start to believe it's real now. I know I could still miscarry but I've heard the the odds are much lower once a heartbeat has been detected.
To be honest, if it was bad news, I'd much rather find out at 8 weeks than have to wait another 4 weeks to find out.

Abbinob every GP surgery is different, ring the receptionist to find out what you should do. I still have to see the GP which I thought was a bit silly as I've already seen a doctor when I had my early scans, but some will just refer you directly to the midwife.

I've only DTD a couple of times in the last few weeks. Between nausea, vomiting, headaches and fatigue I'm not really feeling it at the moment!

I found the rice cakes and peppermint tea are the only way to get me through the day at the moment, no actual vomiting but I just feel like I have a really bad hangover from my the moment I wake up, I was trying to eat a good breakfast but realised that was just making me feel more sick.

Got to wait till next Wednesday before I can ring the midwife for my booking in appointment. They seem very relaxed about it all here.

I'm at the in laws house today and I feel sick as a dog just want to lie in bed all day but that might seem rude!

I've only DTD a few times since finding out, really not in the mood. I read that it's quite common for your sex drive to disappear during the first trimester, and come back in the second!

Also they have a big hairy dog and the smell is making my stomach turn!!

Sorry for TMI in advance - I just spent the day with DH and my sister in law at the beach. She doesn't know, so when I burped sick into my mouth I didn't know what to do but swallow it again. Got to love morning sickness I think I left my dignity at conception

Aww I feel for you charlybs roll on a few weeks when you can be more open about your little bundle of joy.

Struggled on hols today, we ventured out of the hotel complex in to the town in a taxi that didn't have air con on then some kind of car show was going on and as I walked by the fumes hit me yuk! That combined with the heat and my swollen feet mean after less than two hours I was back in the hotel pool. I love my holidays but overdid it today.

Oh no charly! This stage is not fun.

Well I am home after a bunch of tests ruled it anything sinister. Pain has eased up so hoping it will continue to improve over the next few days. Putting it down to gallbladder and I'm to go back if it flares up as bad again. It is SO good to be home 😎

I seem to be getting off quite lightly so far regarding nausea (only 5 wks today though so I am sure it will come)) but (sorry for tmi) constipation is not great! Prune juice is very much my friend at the moment but I have to drink it very quickly as I don't like the taste. Hope everyone is well! x

tiger I know how you feel, I can't drink prune juice tho makes me gag and I already feel nauseous so I sticking with mixed fruit juice, helps a little x
