Hope you feel better after a nap Potato.

Soda, the spreading comment is awful. I don't know how people don't realise they are being rude Hmm

We have another all day NCT class tomorrow and then an antenatal class at the hospital on Sunday, so it's a baby filled weekend. Does anyone have any exciting plans?

leoniethelioness · 08/07/2016 18:39

No exciting plans - DH currently in bed with a sickness bug. He's not been sick but feels awful.

IndiX · 08/07/2016 19:54

Hi ladies!

Pink I can't believe how rude people can be. I don't think I ever made a comment on a pregnant woman's size before but I will make sure I NEVER do unless it's 'omg you look amazing'.

We went for our 4D scan, Beanie was very naughty! Wouldn't get in the right position for ages, hands up by face and then I had to walk/jump around, eat some chocolate and a have a fizzy drink to get her going. We got a few nice pics in the end so I'm happy and it was lovely just to see her again. I definitely have a naughty little baby on my hands though Grin

Awww she's so cute indi, glad she was good for you in the end.

Plans this weekend- hairdressers to sort my Barnet and a wedding reception in the eve (hope my feet and hack heels HmmConfused). Sunday I'm chilling out completely

PotatosMum · 08/07/2016 20:02

I'm feeling a bit better now, not sure what came over me.

No plans at all this weekend beside trying to prevent the kids from killing each other. Actually had a conversation with the teenager today, I'd forgotten he was capable of anything beside grunting. He was sounding me out to check I wasn't planning to have any more kids after this one... He appeared to be concerned that he wouldn't get as many Christmas presents now that his has dad has 3 kids, bless Grin to be fair I don't think either of them have cottoned on to the fact that I do all the Christmas shopping.

Great pictures Indi!

I have a very important question for those ladies who have invested in Primark knickers for post birth Grin. I normally wear bikini style knickers. I went into Primark today and noticed they do bikini knickers and also full on granny pants in packs. I'm thinking granny pants would be ideal for if we have c sections, to go above the cut, but then worry that if its just a normal birth and there's no cut to worry about, they'll just dig into the bump post birth, given it doesn't go down immediately. Have you all bought the granny pants?

leoniethelioness · 08/07/2016 20:14

Congratulations, Indi! What a cute baby!

PotatosMum · 08/07/2016 20:47

Indi that's a lovely scan. Grin

Pink I've just bought high legs which I normally wear. I'll have to send OH out for granny pants if I end up having a section.

Here's a quick preview of the type of conversations we can expect to have in a few years time...
Me: be careful bouncing around I've lost a needle.
DSD: why did you do that?
Me: well I didn't do it on purpose Hmm
DSD: oh, where did you lose it?
Me: if I knew that it wouldn't be lost. Just be careful.
DSD: I'll let you know if I find it.
Me: that's fine just stop running around with no shoes on until I find it.... (Several minutes later) ... I've found it!
DSD: where was it?
Me: on the floor.
DSD: it's a good job you didn't step on it, that would have hurt.
Me: (under breath) give me strength.
OH: (peeing himself laughing) she is so annoying lol.

Love it Potato!

I think i'll just get my usual bikini style then and send someone out for granny pants if needs be.

ElleSarcasmo · 08/07/2016 20:51

Hello everyone! I've been awol for a while...work has been crazy and have been away at the weekend.

Lovely 4d pics Indi and Nev! Also lovely 20 week scan Audrey! Mine is on Monday and I'm pretty nervous now. Hope everything's ok in there!

Danni you're braver than me! I'm still just about managing wedges but made the mistake of going out in heels on sat and my feet just felt so tired. They always feel knackered now, even when I get up in the morning. It's only going to get worse isn't it?!

Danni89 · 08/07/2016 21:37

Yeah your right elle, wedges would be best- don't know what I was thinking

PotatosMum · 09/07/2016 07:36

Morning all, how are you today?

I'm 33 weeks today with a ferret Confused she certainly feels like one with all the ferreting around she does!

Has anyone got any nice plans for this weekend? None here, but we're going to have to go out at some point to prevent the kids getting into too many arguments about the Xbox Hmm

BunchOfBobs · 09/07/2016 08:04

Morning all,

35 weeks here with a bunch of carrots.

Lovely scan Indi.

Granny pants galore here Pink. In not sure bikini would hold in the mega maternity pads.

Potato that sounds like a conversation I have with my DH sometimes Confused

I've got my friend here for the weekend so I'll be enjoying lots of sugar and catching up on our favourite to shows we only watch together. Last chance hurrah as it were before baby is here. She's tee total so thankfully nothing missed on her part with me not drinking.

All the nappies I bought arrived but unfortunately are very grey. I've got them outside to sun for a week which will hopefully bleach them but failing that I'm getting the Dylon out again. Quite looking forward to it actually. Grin

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

shelbTa · 09/07/2016 08:35

Morning all

Sorry not been posting much but have been reading everything.

Is anyone else struggling with everyone man and his dog suddenly wanting a piece of you??

32+5.

X

Newmrs22 · 09/07/2016 09:02

morning everyone. shelb I'm feeling the same. I need some chill out time, I'm bloody exhausted.

I have 1 week left at work Grin it can't come soon enough.

No exciting plans here. Might pack my hospital bag and try to buy a car seat

leoniethelioness · 09/07/2016 09:20

Carpet fitters here nice and early and DH seems a bit brighter. He's been well enough to take the cats to the vets for their vaccinations. Not sure what we'll do later - DH wants to put the house back to normal but I'm not sure he's up to it! He spent the whole of yesterday in bed so I don't want him rushing around today. I guess I'll see how he feels when he gets home. Might watch Formula One on the TV.

IndiX · 09/07/2016 09:53

Not doing anything exciting here, I've woken up in a bit of a grumpy mood. Maybe I'm just tired or hormonal. About to go to the gym so that should make me feel better and then nothing else planned for the rest of the day, I should empty the nursery room of all the clothes and shit in there but I have no motivation to get it done today. Maybe tomorrow Hmm

IrregularCommentary · 09/07/2016 12:04

Picked up a cold at work so feeling inordinately sorry for myself. Still in bed, alternating between snotting and whimpering so hoping everyone has a better day ahead!

Mileymoocow · 09/07/2016 14:04

Gorgeous scan indi! So very cute.

Audrey lol at your mam pram for your baby! I do love it though, I had a pretendy one as a child for my dolls! Smile

Picked OH up from the airport yesterday and was taken for a swanky meal before going to his auntie and uncles silver anniversary party. I tried heels but it wasn't happening so went for maxi dress and sandals. Managed to last all the way til midnight! Only problem I'm having today is that OH came home with overly full ball bags so we ended up dtd twice yesterday which is unheard of since TTC so I'm rediculously tender and my hips hurt! Is anyone else tender post dtd?

I'm off to catch up properly as didn't manage to get on here yesterday.

IndiX · 09/07/2016 14:23

Miley yes I'm pretty much always tender after DTD, I can even be swollen sometimesBlush I don't know if it's a pregnancy thing though?! Glad you had a good night, hope DH has brought back some treats from Dubai for you that aren't his big ballsGrin--

Irregular get better soon, sounds like you need a Netflix chocolate dayChocolate

Mileymoocow · 09/07/2016 14:38

Hahahaha indi! I'm not normally too bad this long afterwards so think it could be pregnancy related! He is absolutely fascinated with the size of my boons so am keeping hem under a baggy jumper today to discourage and typical male behaviour! I got some perfume and a camel mug which is pretty hilarious. He bought some lovely baby grows and a teddy bear too, as well as a stuffed camel for the dog!

Just went to take a bump update picture and had an immense breakdown as I made the mistake of doing a belly inspection. Found a stretchmark and convinced myself I'll be absolutely covered in them and there's nothing I can do to get rid of them. Love how hormonal days just hit you like a sack of shit Angry after a big cuddle with OH and being reassured that I could be one big stretchmark head to toe and he'd still love me and think I was beautiful I'm feeling a bit ridiculous for getting upset but it's so hard watching your body change and just having to accept it!!! Blush

ElleSarcasmo · 09/07/2016 15:13

Lol at overly full ball bags!

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend.

Indi hope you've made it to the gym and are feeling less grumpy.

Miley Sad at stretchmark, I totally understand. I definitely have stretchmark prone skin so expecting loads. So far I have 3 different preventative products Blush

Bunch Potato New and Shelb you're on the home stretch now! Not long til you're all cuddling cute snuggly newborns.

Irregular hope you're wearing your comfiest clothes and lying on a sofa about now with good snackage!

Leonie hope your DH is on the mend.

Nice weekend planned here, had my hair done (very overdue). The hairdresser says swimming is knackering my hair which is dry anyway. It has been pretty frizzy. Anyone have any tips for frazzled hair? I'm going to a friend's party and then we have family coming round tomorrow. Hoping it'll be dry so we can take the kids to the park.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

IndiX · 09/07/2016 16:25

Miley OH did well on the present front then! I'm paranoid about getting stretch marks too, I haven't done a full examination yet but I think I'm safe atm. I've been using palmers stretch mark cream and also having baths with coconut oil in. I literally swear by coconut oil for everything. Elle coconut oil may help with your frizzy hair too, it takes a few shampoos to get it out but your hair will feel really soft if you just leave it on for a few hours.
I've had a pretty boring Saturday, I went to the gym this morning (which did make me feel less grumpy) had a coconut oil bath swear I'm not on commission for coconut oil, put a wash on, been to asda and now I think I may make some hot chocolates for me and DH with squirty cream and marshmallows and laze on the couch for a bitSmile

IndiX · 09/07/2016 16:29

PS Miley I have the 'I hate my changing body' breakdown once a week at least. I've just got used to the feeling I'm going to feel fat for a few more months and to enjoy not feeling too guilty about my chocolate intake atm.

AudreyBradshaw · 09/07/2016 16:47

I'm another big coconut oil advocate. Use it as a hair mask, in the bath etc, been alternating between coconut oil and cocoa butter oil to try and stop skin going dry and itchy, i do u t it'll have an effect on any stretch marks though for me, I've got zebra skin as it is, just got to hope they fade fast for me!
