Wispa hope the scan goes well!! xx

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 11:18

Dutchy i have everything crossed for you honey

Hey Ruby! Congrats

Im counting down to the 2nd July for my early scan :) xx

Jojoclaire · 07/06/2016 11:23

Congrats ruby! It took me a few days to get my head around it too.
Sounds good wispa, a scan will be exciting I'm sure and clemantine I think we're 6 week today buddies! I'm happy as I just made it to 5 last time, so going in the right direction, phew... But I'm with you pheobe poor DH doesn't know if he's coming or going when I tell him the sore boobs have stopped, then started again, just trying to keep it real...

I'm having little twinges all over my lower tummy today, left and right, not sure I could describe how they feel, anyone know what that might be? And has anyone noticed their hair is not looking it's best? Mine's rather lank and dull, I'm taking it as a good sign!

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 11:33

Jojo i have been getting them twinges, upper and lower tummy too, but i have trapped wind so guessing it was that as when i take the tablet for the trapped wind it all eases

My hair isnt as soft as normal x

clementineclouds · 07/06/2016 11:36

hey buddie jojo Smile ref. the stomach pains, I had what I can only describe as a lot of discomfort under my tummy on sunday evening (not pain, but just made me want to stop what I was doing, and sit down (which I did, and I felt better). not had that before, or since. hoping its just things starting to stretch. its so hard to describe them sometimes isn't it...it def. wasn't like af pain, or pain at all...but it was def there....

clementineclouds · 07/06/2016 11:38

oh yeah...all the trapped air....if its not coming out of one end, its coming out the other sexy Hmm

my hair doesn't seem to have changed at all yet...although I did manage to squirt some handwash in it earlier (bit of a violent pump bottle), so now the one side of my hair smells like handwash, and is a bit stiff...lovely Smile

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 11:44

Clementine....DH is saying im using it as an excuse but honestly if its not one end its the other! but if its not out i get pain lol.

Ive had them stretching feelings too, i just rest

Haha about the hand wash i do that!! or when im in the shower after i was my hair i end off putting shower gel in it and have to wash it again
xx

jodiebee664 · 07/06/2016 12:37

jojo yes my hair looked rubbish yesterday now you say it, ha!

i've had the stretching crampy pains also - took it as a good sign :)

my midwife should call me thursday for first time (went to docs last fri and they pass on details to her so she calls all new pregnancies) to arrange an appointment, is this the time I ask about an early scan? I'm hoping they offer one as I had an mc last time.

Lucy1308 · 07/06/2016 12:38

kellz that has reassured me. I expected mine to darken straight away but they haven't really so was worrying. Looks like ICs just take ages to get with the program!!

twocatsandatoddler · 07/06/2016 13:01

The midwife from my surgery just called me to confirm the appointment I booked and it's the same one I saw last time and she's lovely so I'm happy about that. She was also the one who came round the day after I got home from hospital with DS. I'd had a tough time on the ward (mainly sent crazy from 6 days with no sleep, and a room with no windows!) and they were worried that about me, so I was so happy to see someone familiar who knew I wasn't a crazy person! Makes it all fee real now!

ThreeLittleDucks99 · 07/06/2016 13:25

Sorry quick q- how do I tag people in a post?! Not used to this!
Ahh congrats on getting for six weeks Jojo and clementine- such a milestone at this stage when even the hours seem to drag.
Jodie you can ask about early scan but I think it can depend on the borough? Defo ask though. Hope you are feeling ok, had a mc before my dd and spent the whole pregnancy worrying!
Ah twocats, that must be so reassuring, does she remember you?
I'm just in bits watching secret life of four year olds, last time I had no pregnancy symptoms at all so I bet I'm due some hormonal outbursts and morning sickness this time (fingers crossed if all goes to plan!)

jodiebee664 · 07/06/2016 13:49

thanks littleducks
add a star either side of the name to tag :)

yes, I am worrying (but trying not to) I know tons of people who had an mc (from 4 weeks right through to stillborn) who have then gone on to have healthy babies next time so am going with that.

last time i didn't even know i was pregnant until the mc at 9-10 weeks, I'd had bleeding around period time so just took this as AF. i did have sickness but 2 girls i sat with in the office had a similar sickness (randomly as they weren't pg) so i just thought I had same as them - we even joked we were getting poisoned by the office at work! Not knowing I obvs wasn't taking any special care of myself and still drinking so don't know if that had an impact.

Def got the emotional feelings this time though - ecstatically happy it's finally happened (mc was last august) but still cautious!

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 13:52

Jodie
id ask about early scan

Lucy
Glad it reassured you, i was the same and started panicking i was having another chemical. But think im fine from that.

Twocats
glad you have a lovely mw, she sounds really nice. Im at a different surgery so wont, last one was really lovely too, suppose ill find out soon if this one is nice

ThreeLittle
Dont know if you can tag, but if you put * at either side of name it will put it in bold :)
Im hormonal, sicky, light headed, tired lol im hormonal enough for us both lol xx

Lalalala2015 · 07/06/2016 14:12

I've got everything crossed for you dutchy Flowers

Still not feeling much of anything. I wish I could have some more symptoms so it might start to feel real.

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 14:13

Lalala I have symptoms but still doesnt feel real! i only have sickness but was getting that throught TTC so still feels like im not!!
x

ThreeLittleDucks99 · 07/06/2016 15:09

Ahhh thank you! Yeah I meant the bold thing, not quite caught up with the lingo. Know exaxtly what you mean jodie - mc is still so taboo to talk about it's such a shame as like you say is so reassuring when you know people have come out the other side. Aw kelz that doesn't sound ideal... The one time you probably could really do with a glass of wine!
I haven't told dh yet ... Didn't want to distract him at work- I imagine it will be initial pride over his swimmers and then a breakdown of how we're going to cope!

CinderellaFant · 07/06/2016 15:57

I have been feeling great then all of a sudden today I feel like absolute crap!! DS is off school today and I am struggling big time, counting down the hours until DH is home.
I wish my kids were still young enough to take afternoon naps, I could really do with one today!

I also have a random sore knee since I woke up! It feels twisted somehow.

Hopefully tomorrow is a better day Confused

jodiebee664 · 07/06/2016 16:06

Haha littleducks my DH said the same about swimmers when we got the BFP....and then said oh god we've got to move house quick (we are looking anyway)

Lucy1308 · 07/06/2016 16:28

Just done these as I couldn't wait!! Feel lots more reassured after your test kellz and these. Especially as the IC I've just done from the same cup of pee is still not exactly shouting at me haha!! I promise I'll stop buying tests now....

Due in February 2017
Lalalala2015 · 07/06/2016 17:10

Kellz92 I probably should just make the most of feeling fine but I can't help worrying!

Lucy1308 testing can be addictive 😂

EggInABap · 07/06/2016 17:19

Hi ladies

I've been TTC for 2 months and was due on today, I had a cheap tesco test in the cupboard so took it yesterday and came up negative so chucked it in the bin.

I don't know why but for some reason 30 mins later I fished it out of the bin and it then had the faintest of lines, so faint I thought I was imagining it!

Today got a clear blue and did it at work and got the below! I'm so chuffed. I am also being a bit sneaky- I told DH I'd come on so I can surprise him on Father's Day. I bought a little vest from mothercare at lunchtime saying I heart daddy.

So now I have to keep my big gob shut for ageeeeeeeees.

After my miscarriage last year, I found it really hard as we'd stupidly told so many people so this time we agreed to tell NO ONE until the scan. So now I am just bursting to tell someone so you are all the first to know!
Looking forward to getting to know you all, my due date will be around 16th Feb. Is there a list somewhere of us all with our due dates, I remember seeing it on another club's thread.

Congratulations to you all xxx

twocatsandatoddler · 07/06/2016 17:23

I haven't done a test since I got BFP two weeks ago but just bought a clearblue digit as I couldn't resist so I'll be using that when I get home! I'm sure I'm just setting myself up for worry as last time it took longer than expected to get the 3+.

littleducks and jodie I've just remembered that DH was irrationally worried about potential infertility (his not mine) before we conceived DS - he said he thinks most men worry about it. As it happens we conceived immediately both times so thankfully no issues here, but I'd forgotten until now how concerned he was!

CinderellaFant · 07/06/2016 18:06

Aww egg that's lovely. Good luck with keeping it a secret

clementineclouds · 07/06/2016 18:23

egg thats a really nice idea, to wait to fathers day...hope you can keep the secret that long. my dates worked out really well, and I was able to tell my dh on his birthday....officially the best birthday present ever apparently Grin
