fluffy, the dream genii cushion might help if you're worried? You can't ready roll over without waking up. In my last pregnancy I had a period of being unable to lie on my left side due to spd and was told not to worry about it.

swan im in the same boat symptoms gone but most friends have told me that's normal approaching 2 nd trimester. Apart from being tired I wouldn't know I was pregnant my scan next week couldn't come soon enough x

eskerina thanks for that. I wish there was definitive black and white advice on this.l though! I sleep on my right before I move to my back so it does worry me. it obviously needs more research.
solomon ah brill thanks, I've just googled the dreamgenii and it looks great, if everything is ok at my scan on the 10th I'm going to order one from amazon. I had a vision of hubby strapping me on my side to the bed with a belt or something! This looks much better!
watermelon there's been lots of positive outcomes from ladies on here who had severe bleeding, so try to stay positive, easier said than done I know. Thinking of you.

I've got my scan tomorrow, starting to panic now that it could be a second set of twins. Absolutely no reason to assume that but just working myself into a bit of a stew about it... Eek!

Thinking of you Watermelon. It's terrifying, isn't it? If you can, I think the advice to get a private scan is good. As Barking said earlier, there's no price for peace of mind. Like Steffi, I've had a haematoma in my uterus, and have now bled 3 times, particularly heavily last Friday. TMI but after having a wee, the toilet was bright red. I had a scan the same day and my baby was absolutely fine, so I hope yours is too.

watermelon I had bleeding too which was a hematoma that eventually disappeared - baby was wriggling around when I went for a scan petrified - it happened twice and fine both times. Sending love and positive thoughts. So sorry they won't give you a scan earlier

Just finished a stretch of night shifts, Yaaaaay! 2 days off are very needed. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow, symptoms massively improving. Is 13 weeks still 1st trimester? Confused about when transition is!

swan my symptoms have come and gone since 9 weeks I think. Mainly very present, but the odd day of feeling ok! Today has been awful again.

In other news, my bump has appeared overnight! It feels really noticeable, I wonder if my uterus has finally pinged up.

Hi all. Watermelon sorry to hear about the bleeding - could well be nothing. Hope you can get a scan appt quickly so you know what's going on in there. There's lots of reasons you can have a bit of a bleed.

I'm 14+3 today and must say, the last week or so I'm symptomless. Given how dreadful I felt the first tri it absolutely floored me how normal I feel. I'm still more tired than normal but sickness, needing to eat everything in sight, sore boobs etc - all vanished. So for anyone a few weeks behind, try not to worry. I've been assured it's totally normal and these are the "nice" three months to be followed by three long ones at the end of the pregnancy. I started to perk up from around 13+2 and at first was terrified it was all over / then that it was a fluke - neither were the case.

So for anyone whose symptoms wane, enjoy it. I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to brush my teeth without being sick! X

Watermelon sorry to hear about your bleeding. I know it's hard to feel reassured but bleeding often doesn't mean the worst and can be a symptom of many things. I hope you find out what's going on soon. The waiting must be awful.

I'm 14 weeks today so officially out of the first trimester. Such a relief, and much like you Duxb I'm physically feeling so much better too.

12w scan today and was measuring 12w+3d so have been put forward a couple of days to Friday 9th Dec - Kit-Kat, next time you update the list please can you update my due date? Thanks! Baby was very very active, dancing around in there constantly - so much so that the sonographer struggled to get all the measurements. The sonographer was a but grumpy and curt but nevermind. I had the nuchal measurement and blood test so that's all done. DH and I have done some forward planning and baby chatting too, finally, so that's been a positive step. I'm still not planning on sharing our news for a few weeks - probably end of term here which is Fri 1st July (4 weeks on Friday).

duxb I'm so glad to hear you're symptom free after a dreadful first tri... I've been really suffering last 4-5 weeks and can't remember what it feels like to be normal so I'm glad there is hope for me yet!

Yup puppy there's a December baby boom! Nice to have a dad on here for different perspective and advice...

I literally mention you ladies almost on a daily basis to DP.. "This woman on my antenatal thread says this" "there are other on the antenatal thread who are feeling this" etc etc and DP just rolls his eyes. You ladies (+ man) have really become a lifeline for me!! xx
