Don't worry barking! You think that as bad I had leftover takeaway curry this morning, a chocolate mousse dessert, two cans of Coke and just had cheesy nachos Blush

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 19:11

Hi bow I'm in a similar boat as you! A bit of bleeding, worrying a lot... These kids drive us crazy and they're not even born yet!!!

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 19:12

Lily go for poached it's sooooo worth the faff!

becciandbump · 12/05/2016 19:20

bowsurprise thinking of you try not to worry that doctor sounded sensible reassuring u about heartbeat. Has anyone else got really intense stretching like feeling your tummy is trying to stretch too fast I feel like my belly wants to burst with pressure x

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/05/2016 19:21

Well done on the new Fred barking

EmeraldEars · 12/05/2016 19:26

Thanks for the support on the last one. It's rubbish having so little support from the people that are meant to reassure you but I guess it's just a case of time will tell. DD has chickenpox just now so not got work to keep my mind off things but it's nearly the weekend. Will hopefully fly in and then just a week till my scan.

babyinthacorner · 12/05/2016 19:28

Place marking. I think I have thread worms AngrySadBlush

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 19:31

Oh gosh babyin are you ok? Thinking of you Flowers

Bigfam · 12/05/2016 19:39

We've got chickenpox here too emerald, 2 out of 4 have had it so far, list waiting for the others to catch it now!

babyinthacorner · 12/05/2016 19:43

Haha yes majorly, thank you! It's just horrendously uncomfortable. Nothing you can take for it during pg, so got to nuke the house on Saturday. DD with chickenpox is worse, I reckon! Flowers for everyone dealing with that!

EmeraldEars · 12/05/2016 19:43

Oh I'm glad it's just one here. Feel so sorry for her. Tried to oats in the bath tonight, not sure if it did any good or not.

barkingtreefrog · 12/05/2016 19:48

Lily my midwife told me today runny eggs were still on the no list, but there hasn't been a reported case of salmonella from eggs in years and years so as long as they are red lion stamped I'm quite happy, and I'm not one to usually take risks with food!

Just went to the shop and DH asked me to pick up some beer for him. I thought that was a bit of a cheek given I can't drink but I managed to pick up a 4 pack that had become a 3 pack by the time I got to the till, then when walking through the car park I dropped another, which obviously he can't now drink until it has settled. I don't think he'll ask again Wink

Thisisbonkers · 12/05/2016 19:50

Thanks for the new thread, barking

I'm off on my jollies tomorrow so may not be around much for the next couple of weeks.

Quick question (well, I suppose it's not really), what are people doing about screening? I was sent a load of bumf with the booking in appointment but with feeling so vile and doing tonnes of DIY we never read it. I felt a bit on the spot at the booking in appointment and now I don't know if I've made the right decision to go ahead with it Confused

leotwist · 12/05/2016 19:54

Too funny you crying about the blind dog, Tinysalmon [big grin]! I have no idea why but it's completely cracked me up! I've cried so often this week and at such utterly daft things, I can't even list them.

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 20:10

Hi this I felt similarly to you when I had ds! Didn't really know what I was agreeing to, but just did everything anyway. It was only this time last year but it feels like a lifetime ago! Do what feels right, there's no wrong decision. It's stressful enough time already without having to figure out all this stuff!

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 20:11

baby how irritating you can't take anything. wjat are you going to have to do to your house?

Mejse · 12/05/2016 20:29

Thanks for the new thread!

I probably won't be posting much in the next few weeks because I have exams to prepare for.

I booked my 12 week scan today for the 20th of June, seems like so long away. I could have had it sooner but my exams are 13th-17th and I am too scared of getting bad news to risk having it just before/ right in the middle of exams.

After reading through all the food talk I now really want some tiger rolls but can't get them where I am Sad. Mostly I can't decide what I actually want to eat, DH keeps bringing me home things that I usually love but I can't bring myself to eat them. The only thing I feel slightly excited about is fruit.

Sorry to hear that a few of you are having a hard time with bleeding and/or insensitive doctors/receptionists

StubbleTurnips · 12/05/2016 20:39

Marking place.

Dreading the Eurostar home tomorrow, had a ducky stomach all day and I can do without it!!

Brisgirl · 12/05/2016 20:40

Hi everyone! Thanks for the new thread barking
Haven't been posting much as have mainly had my head down the toilet 😩 I can't believe how grim I feel especially as my pregnancy with ds was such smooth sailing! anyone that knows keeps telling me it must be a girl this time round - we shall see!
Hope everyone else is doing ok - lovely to hear lots of happy scan news and lots of love to those struggling!
I know someone mentioned it in the first thread but how do people feel about a Facebook group? Or is there one already? I think this was around the time we started one with my last mn group and over the last couple of years those ladies have come to be the most wonderful, close-knit support system.

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 20:44

Bris I second that I had ds in December and it was a breeze through the whole pregnancy! This one is a little bit different to say the least. So yes maybe we are having girls this time Wink

becciandbump · 12/05/2016 20:55

Think a facebook group could be nice to put faces to names x

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/05/2016 21:01

I don't do pregnancy tears so much as preggo rage Grin

kittyscot81 · 12/05/2016 21:04

*Just posted this on the other board, didn't realise we'd moved on already!

For those speculating about finding out the gender, my mother informed me yesterday that there has been research published which found that mothers who knew the gender found it easier to bond. This will be my first so no idea but would be good to the views from experienced Mums, what do you think? I have a strong idea for a boys name but not for a girl, so I'm convinced I'm having a boy! I guess premonition isn't exactly scientific though, so may be wrong!!

Majorlyscared1993 · 12/05/2016 21:08

Kitty I didn't find out with ds and in so glad. After all that pain and pushing its the most beautiful and exciting surprise you will ever get

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/05/2016 21:09

I second the idea of a fb group.
