Summers here and bumps are busy growing. Scans photos are coming thick and fast and team pink and blue are rampining up their numbers.

We have new grads furiously POAS, second trimesters eager for their bumps and veterans about to embark on trimester 3 and contemplating baby size with mild terror apprehension.

The weathers to hot for comfort and our pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms are getting on our tits literally in some cases !!

All are welcome to TTC#1 grads thread #6

A woman at my work just found out I was pregnant and said 'that explains why you were eating so often a few weeks ago, you must have been keeping the sickness at bay' erm nope, just hungry Blush

shelbTa · 16/05/2016 16:16

Glad to hear it bunch! I've seriously pigged out today, and could eat more....Blush

Pinklily1 · 16/05/2016 17:37

Canters, I'm impressed you are managing a few times a week! Ours is very sporadic at the minute, with OH rarely instigating it. I'm not sure if he's put off by bump but I know he worries about hurting baby. Last time he kept telling me to go slow and be careful Hmm

I've decided that pregnancy is our free pass to eat cake (and soft mints Miley)!

I got told by one of the spin instructors at the gym at the weekend that I can't go to her class once I hit 6 months. Apparently my pelvis will begin to spread and not be supported by the seat Hmm None of the other instructors have said that and doctor and midwife both say fine to keep going as long as I feel comfortable, so it's irritated me a bit that effectively I'm banned from that class! She does seem quite old school though.

Miley, I forgot to say thanks for the Asda bikini recommendations. I didn't end up getting one there as I seem to be in between their sizes, but they have some really lovely ones at such good prices.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 16/05/2016 18:12

pink ill ask dh about it for you when he gets in, he was a spin instructor. Might be something to do with insurance. If her personal liability insurance won't cover pregnancy related stuff? I'll ask the dh.

I have zero ability to concentrate at all today!

leoniethelioness · 16/05/2016 18:22

We've bought the Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip XT pram. We just really liked it in the shop - it's got some decent wheels on it too. I'll mostly be pounding the pavements with it though.

I need to have some refresher driving lessons in the next few months - I've not driven in about 9 years and think I'll have to be able to drive to take Pepper to all the things I want him to go to.

Mileymoocow · 16/05/2016 18:28

leonie 9 years?! Refresher lessons will be good, hopefully it'll come straight back to you.

Ah pink it sucks that they weren't suitable cause there are some really lovely ones. Semi regretting cancelling our holiday but I still don't think I'm well enough to go so I guess it was a good thing.

Finished work at 4, all housework is done, pooch walked and OH fed and sent on his merry way to work so it's a night of relaxing tonight Grin being back to work has got me absolutely exhausted

leoniethelioness · 16/05/2016 19:30

Yep, Miley - passed before uni and haven't driven since... I don't know where all the time has gone! Had some refresher lessons last year but never kept it up. Oops. Need to learn to enjoy it.

Feefeefs · 16/05/2016 19:40

That's lovely of her potato.

Sounds like I'm the only one who's off DTD! DH wants to and managing about once a week but I have very little interestConfused hoping it returns. I think it's the feeling ugly.

We told our parents yesterday was lovely. Going to tell other friends and work week 13 after the scan. Once I tell my manager the whole place will know so I might as well just tell her and get it over and done with! Also they are really awful at recruiting in general but maternity leave cover in particular so if I give her more time they might actually cover me!

Sodasoda · 16/05/2016 19:53

leonie I'm exactly the same re driving. Since I moved to London about 10 years ago I haven't driven. We have a car but DH does the driving. I've booked in for my first refresher lesson on Wednesday morning with BSM - nervous!!

pink that's strange about spinning. I've been going sporadically and I hoped the instructor would give me a bit of a break but he says 'you'll be fine, my wife did it up until she was over 8 months' sadist! Grin So perhaps it's just that individual instructor. Annoying though.

So last night my snoring was apparently terrible. I'm enjoying my new pillow but it's not helping the snoring! DH is talking about sleeping in the spare room which I feel quite sad about and it's not conducive to those intense orgasms we were talking about!! GrinWinkBlushGrin Anyone have any pregnancy friendly remedies for snoring?

feef we hardly DTD at all until after 12weeks. I think we were both nervous as is had some bleeding but I just felt really unattractive and not up for it. It's only in last couple of weeks I've started wanting it again- I'm almost 23 weeks now.

LisaTheGreek · 16/05/2016 20:12

Bunch - I've just seen your Instagram of the kicks under your bump. It's amazing!

And yes, it does look like you're naked! Grin

BunchOfBobs · 16/05/2016 20:40

Thanks Lisa! He woke me up kicking like a madman. I know, huge bump is making me look like a right exhibitionist!!

My arches are collapsing, so not only do I have really painful feet with red swollen arches, but my already huge feet are going to grow Sad Anyone else with me on the insane water retention? Look at the size of my in my latest IG photos. I'm a whale!!

leoniethelioness · 16/05/2016 20:55

Ah, Soda - you're encouraging me to get my act together! We have a car too but DH uses it for work and does all the driving at the weekends too. I get the train to work So never need to drive!

Time for Lindt and Game of Thrones.

Also, a bit off topic but I need a new mobile phone with a decent camera to photograph Pepper. Can you recommend me yours? I'm thinking about a sim free Galaxy S6.

Laurenrl · 16/05/2016 20:58

Leonie, I have the galaxy s6 curve and the camera is AMAZING! the cat looks better than in real life haha

leoniethelioness · 16/05/2016 21:16

lauren - I can only photograph one of my cats! The other one doesn't show up in low light... 😶

Laurenrl · 16/05/2016 21:24

Ah a cat of mystery, I love it! Mine is trying to convince us he is a person tonight by sitting upright on the sofa

leoniethelioness · 16/05/2016 21:32

Ahhh, he's so cute!

I've finally joined Instagram. Please be my friend - leonieandbaby! Posts to follow when I have a decent cameraphone and a bouncing baby to photograph! In the meantime I'll have to photograph my latest eBay purchases and expanding waistline. And cats. Lots of cats!

LisaTheGreek · 16/05/2016 21:40

Aww, Lauren, he's adorable! Very handsome!

LisaTheGreek · 16/05/2016 21:42

I'm following you, Leonie. Can't wait to see the cats!

And obviously your bump and baby stuff too.... but I'm a crazy cat lady first and foremost! Grin

Canters15 · 16/05/2016 21:43

soda have you tried the nasal strips from boots? They hold the nostrils open a bit and it's supposed to stop snoring...I used them on an ex with some success!

I liked the armadillo flip Leonie that was the first one we looked at. I will follow you on Instagram, i don't have many phoots up but in my profile pic I'm wearing a sari, just so you don't think I'm some random stalker....

Canters15 · 16/05/2016 21:44

PS miley well jel of your bugaboo! You'll have to report back on how awesome it is once baby is here!

Pinklily1 · 16/05/2016 21:46

Bunch, I've just watched your new bump video too - it's amazing! I need to film mine and see what happens!

I'm following you now too Leonie.

Feefs, I totally went off DTD for a while too. Initially because of sickness but then because I just wasn't interested. The interest is coming back now though Blush

Pinklily1 · 16/05/2016 21:47

Canters, what's your Instagram username? Don't think I am following you

BunchOfBobs · 16/05/2016 22:05

Pink incase canters doesn't want to say her username on here check my followers/following and it ends in 86. Do it re:filming. If yours is anything like mine you'll have weeks of getting the camera out and baby stopping moving.

Leonie I'm following you too Smile.

Great pic Lauren, I love animals Pretending to be humans.

Pinklily1 · 16/05/2016 22:09

Thanks Bunch, I just randomly clicked to follow another of your friends by accident (ending in 89), but have managed to undo it I think!

I'm definitely going to start filming.

Nevlet · 16/05/2016 22:44

Have just about followed everyone on instagram I think.
Can't believe how many of us have OHs being wierd about dtd. I'm finding it quite tough emotionally to cope with it. Mine can give no reason to why we just never do it now so its hard not to take it personally.
