Thread #6 - TTC#1 Grads - Sun roasted pregnant ladies

PotatosMum · 09/05/2016 09:34

Summers here and bumps are busy growing. Scans photos are coming thick and fast and team pink and blue are rampining up their numbers.

We have new grads furiously POAS, second trimesters eager for their bumps and veterans about to embark on trimester 3 and contemplating baby size with mild terror apprehension.

The weathers to hot for comfort and our pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms are getting on our tits literally in some cases !!

All are welcome to TTC#1 grads thread #6

Sorry that came across really grumpy didnt mean it to be haha!

PotatosMum · 15/05/2016 21:55

Lauren mmm Percy pigs... I need to go to the council to hand mums keys in tomorrow, I might have to go through m&s on the way home and treat myself.

Miley I wouldn't know. I've either been in pain or discomfort for so long that any funny business has been off the cards. Luckily OH is very understanding... I've promised to make it up after the baby's born Wink

Miley, I've not had this after DTD but we haven't done it for the last two weeks and in that time my lady bits have started to feel swollen anyway. Not sure why, another delightful pregnancy symptom Hmm

I think that's a lovely gesture Potato.

BunchOfBobs · 15/05/2016 22:03

Oh Potato he sounds a sweetheart. I've seen amaZing YouTube videos of them doing tricks, they're so clever. And so clean!

Nev I'm in a very similar situation. I managed to convince DH to try a couple of days ago and he was being annoying and (sorry TMI) too gentle. The more I said "stop being so gentle I'm fine" the worse he got. He eventually stopped and said "we should revisit this". When we talked about it apparently he heard "be gentle, it's hurting". What the actual?!! Clearly he's paranoid.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/05/2016 22:14

I've gone the other way with dtd Blush we've been as bad as we were for it when ttc. But then I've been really lucky, Im waiting for the badness to start. Been having some stretchy weird cramps but thats about it. Dh is marvelling at my boobs. They could be used as floaties in a swimming pool!

potato that sounds lovely abiut the cardigan.

shelbTa · 15/05/2016 22:16

Likes many others miley - I wouldn't know as OH is refusing to sleep with me! "The thought of the baby in there is weird", apparently. Great. Sober, bloated, and now sexually frustrated.

We've hardly done anything since I fell pregnant Miley but we did dtd once last week. Definitely feels very different afterwards. I don't think I'm getting as 'warmed up' beforehand perhaps, that's what it feels like anyway. Like you, I felt pretty swollen and sore/tingly for a while afterwards. It was still good during, but I was definitely less keen on the sensation once we'd stopped!

Pinklily1 · 15/05/2016 22:34

Starky, my OH refers to my boobs as 'the planets' because they are so big now Shock

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/05/2016 22:38

pink he's like a 16 year old lad abiut them at the minute, he actually said "Cor blimey" the other day when I walked in the room, I felt like I was in the beano!

Sodasoda · 15/05/2016 22:49

Swollen in a bad / sore way? I feel more tingly after DTD but in a good way - everything is way more sensitive and orgasms are more intense (sorry for TMI!) Blush

We didn't DTD much at all in first 12 weeks as I felt horrible and pretty unattractive but things are much more regular now.

IndiX · 16/05/2016 06:37

Miley I am the same. VERY swollen after DTD, I thought it was because we hadn't done it for 5/6 days but even when we do it every 2/3days I'm swollen. I have to sleep with no knickers on becuase I feel tender. I'm hoping it's a pregnancy thing because there is a lot of blood flow in that area?!

firstgo1984 · 16/05/2016 07:18

Hi all,
Sorry for my long periods of being missing in action.Work is keeping me very busy so I don't get much chance to come on here.
16+1 today and I have had a few sneaky peeks on the scanner at work since my dating scan but have managed to avoid looking between the legs because I want to find out with my husband there. 3 more weeks to wait!
I've had heartburn from about 8 weeks, but Ranitidine seems to have really helped that.
Started to get a little bit of low back ache the last few days when I am on my feet all day at work.

Newmrs22 · 16/05/2016 07:30

Hi all, I've been away all weekend. Missed a lot again!

potato the cardigan sounds lovely. Very sweet of her.

We haven't DTD for 3 weeks, I think DH is a bit put off by the bump but I'm getting annoyed. I'm only going to get bigger. I can't not have sex for 3 months! That's right--baby is due 3 months today!! Grin

PotatosMum · 16/05/2016 07:44

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

The weird dreams fairy was up to her old tricks again so I spent half my night trying to save a puppy in Nazi Germany... Don't remember why or what from Confused

Hoping to get our official mortgage offer today or tomorrow fingers crossed also hoping to have a completion date on OHs property by the end of the week. Hopefully things will start moving quickly now seeing we want to move mid to end of July Smile

I'm really nervous about going back to work tomorrow but I think it will only be for about 6 weeks then I'll be finished Grin definitely feel as if I made the right choice about finishing early as I can't imagine continuing for another 12 weeks without ending up a total mess Confused

Morning ladies

Potato - me too again, really awful haunting nightmares, wonder if it's a hormone thing around this time. Good luck today with house.

25 weeks today! Developed new stretch marks on thighs, bizarrely.

BunchOfBobs · 16/05/2016 09:57

Morning all.

First I'm on ranitidine too. It hasn't stopped the reflux but has massively reduced the burning. Last night my stomach was on fire again though.

Potato fx you get the news today.

I am so swollen. Water retention has hit hard! Also caught the best movements yet on camera, I'm so chuffed as DH can see it even though I'm not with him until the weekend Smile. Pip is very active this morning, infact he hasn't stopped moving since 7am.
I hope everyone has a lovely Monday. I've had some lovely cuddles from my nephew, lovely dance shows from Pip and very soon it's coffee and cake time. Today is good. Pelvis still trying to snap in half though!!

Mileymoocow · 16/05/2016 10:43

Oh sorry ladies! Think we need to have a word with husbands about manning up! My OH has the sex drive of a hormonal teenager, but I did worry incase he was put off.

soda no it's in a good way, I'm so sensitive I'm erm...not lasting long! Blush

Trying to wean myself off oranges but I'm going through softmints like they're going out of fashion.

Mileymoocow · 16/05/2016 10:52

My grandma is having a fit because we're getting the pram delivered soon and apparently it's bad luck! She's almost insisting it's kept at her house

PotatosMum · 16/05/2016 10:55

I have two bags of Percy pigs... I think I need to find a movie and give myself a sugar high Grin

Back to work tomorrow Sad

Canters15 · 16/05/2016 11:01

Oh hell yes to whoever said orgasms were more intense Blush we are managing a couple of times a week in between DH working away and me being sick, hoping it will pick up soon.

Think we picked our pram at the weekend, looks like we're getting the graco evo xt as need something that can cope with offroad....I wanted the bugaboo but DH thought it was far too expensive and couldn't be persuaded otherwise. Grrr men!

Planeteer · 16/05/2016 11:17

We're very much in the sexy time doldrums, barely anything since the BFP. Blush. You ladies have inspired me to make more effort though. Will be ambushing DH this evening!!

shelbTa · 16/05/2016 11:37

Bunch - your coffee and cake inspired me to have tea and two Chelsea buns!

BunchOfBobs · 16/05/2016 12:03

Shelb I may have had two slices of cake.... That would be half the cake... Blush

Mileymoocow · 16/05/2016 12:21

canters we were only managing to do it once a week if we were lucky when I was really sick. It's brilliant having the drive back Grin ooo I like the graco! We have gone for the bugaboo cameleon classic as we needed a good pram that can handle off road, too. My grandma generously gave us more than half the money for it so we were incredibly lucky cause there's no way I would have been keen on forking the whole lot out ourselves. 4 months ago I had genuinely no idea prams were so expensive!

Ok I have had 2 packets of soft mints and it's only just lunch time. I have issues.
