Btw ladies someone recommended Magic Foo spray by holistic kitchen. Her FB page is here m.facebook.com/HolistickitchenUK/
You can order this spray (video on the page shows you how to use it) to help heal your lady parts after birth.

She also has some other lovely things for pregnancy and labour

This is the message she sent to me:
"I've got a birthing blend that can be used from 37 weeks. You can use it in
your bath, oil burner, carrier oil for a massage and to inhale to get things
moving. It's got clary sage, lavender, geranium and bergamot and is a
wonderful blend to have for after baby too. You can add it to a carrier oil
(almond, sunflower oil etc) and massage your tummy if you get after pains.
This is £17.50

Bump, Boobs & Baby Balm is gorgeous, its made with organic shea butter,
coconut oil, cold pressed almond oil & beeswax. With a blend of lavender &
mandarin essential oils. Lavender calms the mind & body whilst Mandarin
helps to prevent and reduce stretch marks and is also the perfect oil for
helping to soothe baby. This can be used on babies over two months old and
would be great for eczema and dry skin. This is £15 for a 120ml jar.

I also have Magic Foo Oil Healing Spray.
The spray is a blend of aloe Vera, witch hazel, lavender, roman chamomile,
rosemary & rose geranium. Used for spraying onto pads, which you make up
before babies arrival, and keep them in the freezer and you can also spray
directly onto foo if you wish, after you have given birth to assist the
healing process! It has antiseptic and cooling properties and reduces
swelling too. 50ml is £8.50 and 100ml is £15.

Postage cost is £3.30 or FREE if you spend over £50.

I also have a number of other blends which will help balance your hormones
after baby is here and depending on how many weeks you are now, I have
blends to help you get through those tough weeks of pregnancy. Like these
roller blends...

Thanks mindful sounds tempting!

laughingGnomette · 24/05/2016 15:45

Thank you so much for all of your good luck messages, it worked! Scan showed baby is no longer breech and vbac is back on!! I've got an ELCS as a back up on the 17th (40+3, don't want to go too far over as he is on the larger side). Grin

Torfhinn · 24/05/2016 16:27

Exciting news laughing, i hope he doesn't make you wait too long!

Torfhinn · 24/05/2016 16:29

Is someone in for induction today? I'm losing track! Good luck to whoever it is!

iamdivergent · 24/05/2016 16:41

Strawberry is in today I think Grin

GrubbyWindows · 24/05/2016 17:23

Yay laughibg great news!!!

Thinking of strawberry- I hope it's all going super smoothly...

Eastend2015 · 24/05/2016 18:30

Urgh just went to a body balance class. Last week it felt great but this week was quite a chore. I must have been quite a sight trying to lunge, I thought my waters were going to go then and there!! Is anyone else still exercising?

cautiousoptimist1 · 24/05/2016 19:03

Wow Eastend I'm impressed, I exert enough effort trying to get up and my body isn't balanced at the best of times! Worse at the moment with the 36+6 bump and only one swollen foot!

bikingintherain · 24/05/2016 19:22

Wow! Eastend I'm impressed! I am absolutely not exercising. I'm in awe of you! I've got a friend who on her due date was on her bike with a kid on the front and a kid on the back. I thought she was mad! But major respect to people who managed to keep really active to the end.

GrubbyWindows · 24/05/2016 19:29

I'm in theory still doing Pilates and aqua aerobics- but my Pilates instructor is on holiday and I've missed at least the last 3-4 weeks of Aqua so in practice no exercise for me! I've a Pilates class booked the second my instructor is back next week- we will see if I make it!
Body balance would definitely be beyond me!

laughingGnomette · 24/05/2016 20:06

Does fast waddling behind an energetic pre-schooler count as exercise?
Respect to you Eastend!

laughingGnomette · 24/05/2016 20:11

cautious - what a nightmare about the single swollen foot! How are you coping with footwear choices?!

Eastend2015 · 24/05/2016 20:42

Well I'm "only" 36 weeks and found exercise has really staved off back pain. I was also told to keep exercising until my body told me it has had enough, I guess that's now then!!

Cautious I'm with you on one swollen foot, I think it's because I broke my ankle many years back so it's harder for the fluid to drain. I assume you have been checked for PE/ blood clots? We must be the only people in the country hoping the weather stays cool as long as possible!

iamdivergent · 24/05/2016 20:43

I walk everywhere but apart from that no exercise here either 😮 I barely have the energy to lift my mug to my mouth 😂

earlgreydrinker · 24/05/2016 21:01

Wow eastend v impressed! My toddler wears me out enough. I did a walk on Sunday and went round the park yesterday and I was paying for it last night with a very achey bump. I think that's a sign to slow down now!

cautious I sprained my ankle back in March and it's still not back to normal. Guessing it's due to more fluid etc.

Eastend2015 · 24/05/2016 21:38

I have a desk job and don't much walking in during the week so you definitely get more exercise than me EarlGrey!

iamdivergent · 25/05/2016 07:44

Had loads of quite sore BH last night, over the course of about two hours - faded into nothing just after I got into bed Hmm and this morning TMI but I had major discharge.

Going for the first of two leaving meals at lunchtime. Quite looking forward to it. No clue who is going though so it will be a surprise!

mrsmugoo · 25/05/2016 08:56

I was having braxtons last night that I'd describe as more than uncomfortable but less than painful. Means nothing though I'm pretty sure. Could still be 3+ weeks.

38 week midwife appt today though so will find out how low she is. She feels like she's about to drop out!

Also, we now have everything we need for the baby - isofix, sleepyhead and buggyboard arrived yesterday so I'm hoping now we're mentally and practically ready that it might help me trigger to be physically ready.

Violet88 · 25/05/2016 09:04

I also had quite sore BH last night for a few hours, at least that's what I think they are. I'm taking it to mean nothing more than my bodies doing something to get ready!

And exercise wise I just walk, at least an hour a day. I had intended to start aqua natal, bought a maternity costume too but never got round to it. I do do pregnancy yoga but its not very active at all, more the breathing and relaxing kind of yoga, so I don't think I can count that as exercise really.

Got a root canal treatment at the dentist today. The dental nurse said the dentist might want to give me an x-ray and if he does then it's safe as its a very low dose of radiation directed no where near the baby. But she said I could decline it if I didn't want it. I hope he doesn't ask, but what do you think?

bikingintherain · 25/05/2016 09:31

I think it will be fine violet, particularly at this stage. I had an X-ray when pg with DS as my dad parked on my foot! The doctors were very much if he opinion that after 20 weeks there really was no issue.

laughingGnomette · 25/05/2016 09:47

my dad parked on my foot! Shock ouch biking!!

Spock27 · 25/05/2016 10:05

Morning all, congratulations to those who have had babies already! Hope you're settling in well with your new family additions :)

I went to bed with a headache last night but didn't take anything for it. Woke up about 5am with it a lot worse, accompanied by Nausea and a general feeling of not being well. Took a paracetamol and went back to sleep and now feeling fine. I don't need to get this checked out do I? I know those are symptoms of PE but as they've gone now it was probably just a run of the mill headache right? Got a mw appointment tomorrow so I'll mention it then but she never gives me a straight answer or further tests and usually says "it'll probably be fine" for most things :/

Eastend2015 · 25/05/2016 10:30

Hi Spock, I'm getting a lot of headaches/ nausea as well as swollen feet and mention it to the midwife every time I go but BP totally fine and no protein in urine so they have been relaxed. Definitely worth mentioning but as long as BP/ Protein ok then it's just another to chalk up to joyous pregnancy symptoms!!

Spock27 · 25/05/2016 11:29

Thanks Eastend, that's reassuring! I got a lot of headaches pre pregnancy but haven't really had any since which is why it worried me! BP and sample have always been fine so fingers crossed tomorrow it will be too :)
