bumbleclat I know what you mean by thinking your failing. My hubby doing everything and tells me to sit down, my dad is doing my ironing as he doesn't want me lifting. I'm getting wrapped up in cotton wool! I cant do housework or clean my mucky turtles out. So frustrating.'

Theaks It's horrible isn't it, I have tortoises and felt bad yesterday just giving them supermarket lettuce rather than going out and picking weeds.
I am so worried about falling behind at work, Im just at the end of my NQT teaching year and really don't want to fall at the last hurdle. :(

I'm having a little bit of a melt down, we have a big family party to go to at the weekend. I have just tried on every dress I own and I look huge in them all. I'm usually a size 8-10 and I am getting so bloated that it's getting harder to hide, but we don't want to have to tell people just yet.
Looks like I will have to go shopping, which I find a bit overwhelming on a good day.
DH is having a great time laughing at how stressed I am and telling me how pregnant I look in everything.

I know it's irrational to feel so stressed about something so silly, I don't think the pregnancy hormones are helping.

Hey girls, hugs to those that need them , looks like fatigue and sickness is catching up with us all.

Although I've been nauseous constantly I hadn't actually been sick, until just now that is. Driving on the M42 in rush hour traffic with no hard shoulder! I have also discovered that I am unable to vom with my eyes open! I felt so pretty, bloody stuff went everywhere luckily managed to slow down between two lorries, I hope no one could see me.

I'm off for my early scan in an hour, eeeek, I'm excited, anxious and scared at the same time. Trying not to get my hopes up but hard not to.

mejse I'm having same dilemma as you. I've gone for a floaty maxi dress from eBay. They're good at hiding lumps and bumps so maybe look for one of those x

Perfect comparison of morning sickness to a foul hangover (sorry can't remember who posted that) my partner asked me what it was like so I advised him to go out and get stinking drunk and tell me how he felt the next morning (he NEVER goes out, but did take my advice, he was absolutely out of it!) when he came home I was so smug thinking how awful he'd feel the next morning, then he woke up fresh as a bloody daisy!

Yes, this is exactly like a hangover! I've explained it to my husband as such in the past, as it's language he understands . He doesn't really get it though, and is still being a bugger about not putting DD's pooey nappies in a nappy bag, etc.

My bean is measuring about 4 days behind (initially it was 6 before the scanner took measurements from a different angle for me!). It made up a day in the fortnight between my 6-8 week scans, which was reassuring. I'm hoping it's done a fortnight's growth at my 10 week scan on Wednesday. It's easy for them to be a day or more out at this stage.

Fantastic job on the list kitkat!!

Not much to say here. 2 weeks until my 12 week scan. Bump is pretty obvious now and getting harder to hide. Will be quite pleased when scan is over and then (all being well) I don't have to try and hide it any more.

Tiredness still my main bugbear here. Already hard to juggle a full-time job and a toddler, but I also keep getting invited to playdates etc and it's lovely I know but I'm so knackered. Today's energy drainer was my car needed emergency repairs so I had to take the car to the garage and then have a 40 minute walk home, and another 40 minute walk to pick the bloody thing back up again. Plus I'm now £250 poorer Also have tried to do some cleaning, a couple of loads of laundry and make some phone calls. It doesn't sound much but I'm knackered by it.

I'm afraid I can't join the turtle / tortoise club but I do have a large aquarium that I'm struggling to find the energy to clean as much as I should. It's alright at the moment though as I did it recently.

I'm really struggling with fatigue too. Im basically going to work and sleeping, really not coping very well. It is heartening to hear lots of other people are feeling the same! Was feeling like a huge wimp last week and v guilty! Sleepless night worrying about zika virus and if we should cancel our trip didn't help so in my PJs already!

We've told the in-laws tonight. I'm only 7 weeks 3 days but we need them to babysit when we have my early scan on Monday. (I had 2 miscarriages in the last 9 months).
They're good although MIL can have slight boundary issues. I'm quite private and she likes all the details.

Sounds like we are all in the same (sea sickening) boat.
I have always been a worker who goes above and beyond (happily) but I have nothing in me at the moment.
I keep having this dread (unreasonable) that my boss will take me to one side and tell me off for slacking

Hello everyone, add me to the tired and nauseous group! I was slightly worried as last time I had nausea from week 7 and I'm nearly 9 now but I needn't have worried! Here it is in full force...

Sleeping all day too - when not at work. Ironing and even hair washing not really happening... Luckily my DS is 4 so I can plonk him in front of the telly - I feel bad though.

I'm exhausted, were in Disney Paris this week and I've had 2 naps today already. I'm exhausted!

Just me who keeps bursting into tears?

bonkers I cried all over my next door neighbours earlier Was having one of those days- trying to prepare dinner, referee between dc1&2 and try to figure out the toddlers latest meltdown! They are fab neighbours and just hopped into my garden and played with the kids til I got back on track I blubbed a bit saying thanks. I luffs them

Also tired and nauseous. Although mine's turned into evening sickness rather than all day. Spend all day freaking out at loss of symptoms, then BAM! Come 7pm it's back with a vengeance.
Still being plagued by single magpies though, so convinced something's gonna go wrong at some point. Saw so many on the way to my booking in appointment today, it has to be a sign. Seriously, someone give me a good talking to!

chops I'm so glad it's not just me. At work I held off until I made it to the loo, but just now bawled my eyes at DP. I am not an attractive cryer

I'm also ridiculously bloated. I've lost weight but can't fasten my trousers

baby stop being ridiculous be grateful of the relief from the nausea! I long for the day!
