I had a private early reassurance scan yesterday as we wanted to check everything is ok before we go on holiday next Tuesday. They confirmed my due days to be 16th Dec which is bang on what I thought. There wasn't much to see, just a little blob within a bigger black blob and a flickering heartbeat

Just here for a moan as it's the only place I can!! I am so incredibly fed up of waking up feeling completely unrested and like I've been hit by a train. I genuinely feel every morning like I'm in the throes of an awful hangover and like I've been in some kind of accident. All my limbs ache and I've got weak feeling legs and I can barely open my eyes, my brain feels sluggish and all my joints hurt and I just feel shit. I never feel like I've had a good sleep. I think being pregnant and having kids at school/nursery & going to work is the pits. No time for any down time or rest. Because I feel like crap all the time, I'm behind with all my work and household jobs which means every time I want to find a pair of ironed school trousers or make a sandwich or set up something at work, everything's in a guddle and I get more stressed - aarrgghh!!!!

I'm so sorry I'm so self pitying this morning - I just have no-one else to moan to!!

Anew, hope you're ok - did you go to work?

Anew, if it's any consolation, I'm a teacher and I've been signed off work for 3 weeks now with severe sickness. It's exam season, so the worst possible time to be off, but my GP wouldn't hear of me going to work in this state. But he wouldn't prescribe me anti-sickness meds and I was too anxious about having another mc to push for them. Being able to rest when I need to and the dignity of vomiting at home has made all the difference. I would imagine an outstanding school like yours would have plans in place for things like this.

One of my best friends and I have been invited to be bridesmaids in November. I get like I had to tell the bride that I would be 8mths pg then (touch wood as I'm still 6 weeks)
Friend piped up with OMG I'm going to be 8 mths too!!!

She's due 20 days before me
I am elated for her!!!

I'm having another clothes disaster day! Nothing is fitting and I clearly have a little bump that I need to hide! Grrrrrr

I think I'm out. Had bleeding and a sudden lack of symptoms over the weekend. I've got a scan tomorrow at the EPU to see what's happening. I'll be 7+6.

I'm permanently knackered, nausea is easing up slightly but the vomming has increased. But the tiredness I'm dead after work, I don't know how you can do this with existing children!

Thanks for all the concern everyone. I managed to get an appointment this morning and have been put on cyclzine. I had it with dd1 and remember it made me drowsy, but not being picky at all! Was impressed with this doc simply because she did a pregnancy test. My last gp didn't even bother! Not dehydrated, BP is normal so just taking it easy on the couch for now.
Got booking appt for 9th of June so that'll be exciting.

It's so crap shopaholic. I hope you're getting better. Is it hg you have? Are you eating at all?
It's just too intense at my school but you're right there should be things in place.

Anweleaf I'm so sorry your feeling rubbish hopefully the anti-sickness medication will help I hadn't heard about crackers and water, I will have to stock up.
My dreams involved practically the only couple left at our church (who has only been married a few months longer than us we're at 6 months married) was also pregnant and whilst preggers we decided it was a good idea to get an additional (scraggly) cat, a small dog and an orang-utan. I didn't think this would effect dreams.

Lily we understand lovely it's not easy but you will have some days that will be better, although I know that doesn't help right now I think we always need a moan to those who get it.

Notaclue- your scan looked like identical twins. Is that right?

(I've not joined this group yet as I'm having a difficult time - low hcg levels followed by baby measuring small (I know exact dates as I did ivf). If they tell me it's a viable pregnancy I'll introduce myself but I feel like I'll jinx it if I do so at the moment.)

I had a scan this morning, just for reassurance. Baby is fine! He was measuring small at the last scan at the EPU (5 days under) which worried me as it was a frozen embryo transfer, so I was sure of the dates. He's only measuring 2 days small now which is great news.

Feeling relieved now, but I'm a natural worrier

lilydaisyrose you described exactly how I feel. Every morning I feel like I've got a hangover. I really had to force my toast down this morning. The rest of the day I feel really hungry with a background of mild nausea, and shattered. But okay.

Off work today as CM is having a medical procedure, and am looking after my DD2. We had a really peaceful and lovely morning with a friend and her DDs at the park and a cafe and then back to the park for a picnic. I've barely done anything, but I'm knackered!

Four days to my scan. ..

Feeling horribly fatigued today, I asked my head if I could plan from home (I'm a teacher) and have come home but can hardly move I'm so exhausted now Im feeling really guilty.
Going to rest for 1 hour then work until 6 rather than 5.
Feel like Im failing at everything at the moment pet owning, house work,, being a granddaughter, wife, friend, being reliable Im just SOOOO tired :(
