Cinderella I'm really sorry to hear that, look after yourself.

Thanks Lily. Yes we have 1 frozen embryo from this round of ivf, and are funded for a second round on nhs if that doesn't work (v lucky I know). Once the mc is over we'll go back for a follow up appointment at the clinic so we can find out when we can have the frozen embryo implanted. I just want to get on with it asap, this ttc has been going on so long.

barking and lily I hope you're doing ok, I totally get it when you say pregnancy is a means to an end when you've mc previously, it's such an anxious time. Hopefully the harmony tests will put your mind at ease a bit barking and the further on you go youre able to relax a bit. Easier said that done I know. I think it's really good to be on a group like this with people who haven't had previous bad experiences and are excited, I know it helped me feel more positive and even though things didn't work out.

TinySalmon · 02/05/2016 22:24

Oh dear cinderella thinking of you Flowers

lily the ob-gen just said bleeding was not that uncommon in early pregnancy and it may just have been a few burst blood vessels as my uterus is expanding.

Little bit of blood as I wiped this evening so now freaking out all over again even though we had the scan today!

barkingtreefrog · 03/05/2016 04:51

Wide awake again since 4am....

cho I agree, it's lovely to be among people really excited about being pg rather than terrified, gives me some balance!

lily not insensitive at all, it doesn't matter what your history is, worries aren't usually logical anyway. Despite my history my odds having seen a heartbeat at 8w are now really good, but it doesn't stop me worrying as I know this is our last chance, we can't afford any more ivf. The lovely thing about this thread is that you've got the worriers like us, and those who are really excited, and everyone in between! It helps to see that there are others feeling the same way as you, but also the positivity you see from others can help change your mindset.

bumbleclat · 03/05/2016 05:10

barkingtreefrog I'm up too have been since 3:30 I keep waking up at these time do you?

I have been so very nauseous for days but actually threw up about 20 minutes ago and am feeling such a sense of relief (every cloud!)

Between the nausea and fatigue is a strong excitement about this little girl or boy, I'm so impatient though I just want to fast forward to the end of the year.

I would love to work all the way to the end of the pregnancy but not sure how possible it will be as a primary teacher. Maybe it won't be so bad because this last couple of weeks are all about the Christmas panto and making decorations etc .

underrugsswept · 03/05/2016 06:14

Hello fellow early birds. I was awake at 3.50 this morning for a good 30+ mins. I'm having really trippy dreams though so actually didn't mind the break. Last night's offerings included me acting the lead role in a stage show about superheroes and jumping about on one of those suspended wire things, finding a creepy alien/ goblin thing grinning at me in bed where I though my husband would be, and a filthy encounter outdoors at a nature reserve with a stranger. Blush Feel free to share yours!!

weechops · 03/05/2016 06:20

under I always get really weird, detailed dreams too. Most of the time I'm some sort of spy on the run from various corrupt governments, breaking out of surrounded hotels and stuff Confused

Littlest chops decided 5am was a good time to get up today. I'm sooooo tired!

underrugsswept · 03/05/2016 06:26

Oooh, yours sound fun, Wee!

lilydaisyrose · 03/05/2016 08:10

Joining in with the mad dreams. I dreamt we joined in with one of the gogglebox families while they were watching TV and being filmed.

Feeling like a total shit this morning as I YELLED at my (8yo) daughter for no good reason. I'm just so fed up today and everything is getting on top of me. I'm so incredibly tired and am so behind with everything (I have the kids, work part time and run my own business as well as trying to keep on top of washing, food shopping, homework, household administration, cleaning etc too). I don't have time to be tired and pregnant and feel ill! As he's not rally acknowledging anything, and although I understand why, I feel really unsupported by DH.

lilydaisyrose · 03/05/2016 08:11

*really not rally

Sorry for the pity party, just needed to get it out somewhere.

n0ne · 03/05/2016 08:43

It's funny, I'm clearly still having symptoms as I've been having really crazy (often nightmarish) dreams the last week too, and my boobs are massive and tender. But the bleeding continues. But then it's not heavy at all, like the end of a period-type bleeding. I don't know what to think! Roll on Friday!

weechops · 03/05/2016 09:41

n0ne I really hope all is ok lovely

lily I totally get it. My dh works abroad so is only home every 3 months for about a week. He so doesn't get how hard it is to do everything on my own! Roll on next year when we move to be with him and he'll see first hand ha!

SouthDownsSunshine · 03/05/2016 10:50

Yesterday's bleeding seems to have been a one off, hoping I don't have any more.

Just been sick, trying to clean my teeth. I'm supposed to go to the dentist tomorrow, they're taking molds. I think I'll have to cancel, hate cancelling at no notice but I don't want to vomit with the trays in my mouth Blush

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/05/2016 11:30

Feeling massively emotional and exhausted today, the sun is out and want to take DS to the park but can't muster any enthusiasm which is making me guilty and teary, going around in a circle!

Need my butt kicked to get moving and shake off my funk ...

Thisisbonkers · 03/05/2016 12:24

Oh my god! The dreams! Last night I was being hunted down by Captain Jack Sparrow (why this was suddenly a problem, I don't know Blush) and I was hiding behind the sofa in my mum's house. Peeping through a little hole and I could see him looking in through the window. I was terrified! Woke up for a wee though so it all ended ok Grin

A new low - just been sick at work. Can't even go home because I've got a business case to present this afternoon. My lunch is now repeating on me.

rider1975 · 03/05/2016 12:50

Sorry for those who had a worrying weekend and good luck to us all this week Smile
I'm joining the pity party. Had a terrible night : so hot body and needing to pee. Was really anxious about getting back to work given my boss seems to be picking at me all the time for no good reason.
I'm getting anxious for the scan this week and feel pretty lonesome apart from my fantastic mum on the other end of the phone Halo
Bf returns to Norway on Friday with a couple who are visiting us so the house will be a little empty this weekend - I feel intimidated about coping with any bad news alone.
Wish these days were easier. Just wanna curl up in a ball and put out spikes - where's the porcupine smiley Grin
On the up tho, really enjoying hearing about the pg's which are going strong and the newcomers and all our stories of tiredness and dreams Smile

mistletoe1 · 03/05/2016 13:53

Hi everyone! I hope I can join you. Discovered I was pregnant two weeks ago, I think i'm about 7 weeks in, DD 19/12. I'm 33, first baby, live in South London. Bit of a shock to be honest - my husband and I have gone from initial abject fear to being very happy about it. Discovering mumsnet has helped ease my mind about all sorts of worries (for example, giving birth over Christmas period - argh!!).

After two weeks of feeling absolutely awful (nausea, exhaustion) I am now feeling nearly normal. No sickness at all. Not sure if I should be chuffed or worried.

Anyway, all going well I look forward to chatting with you all over the coming months!

Mejse · 03/05/2016 13:55

Sorry to see there are so many having a hard time right now Flowers

Lovely to see some scan pictures and hear that there has been good news too. Seems like there are lots of you having early scans, I'm not sure they do that where I am.

I am really feeling the tiredness at the moment! If I don't have a nap in the day I end up falling asleep just after DSS has gone to bed. Due to my uni schedule and the holidays here I am off for the rest of the week so I get some time to relax.

underrugsswept · 03/05/2016 13:58

Mistletoe I was absolutely terrified for several weeks when I was pregnant with my first. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat. It was horrible, lonely and very isolating but I promise it gets much better. He's the light of my life now :)

mistletoe1 · 03/05/2016 14:22

Thank you underrugsswept! That's kind. It's a huge life change and will impact our my career in particular, but we realise it's going to be amazing as well.

underrugsswept · 03/05/2016 15:53

It was definitely fear of the unknown for me, plus an overload of hormones. I remember thinking 'Oh my god, this child will be there all the time' and now I'm like 'Please be with me all the time!'. I hate being apart from him for longer than a couple of hours!

Brisgirl · 03/05/2016 16:15

Hi all, sorry haven't popped in over the bank hol weekend - was too busy enjoying the sunshine and eating wayyyyy too much food.

So, so sorry to hear sad news from a few and for those waiting - sending much love, it's so very hard.

We've just had our follow up scan at EPU today and feeling so relieved that this time there was actually a baby! Tiny heartbeat and all 😀 They've put our dates back a couple of days but will probably wait till dating scan at 12w to update the list!
No weird dreams yet but I hate getting up in the night, and my bladder just doesn't seem to get it! Also not loving the all day nausea and severe toothbrush gagging but worry when it isn't there so for now I'll take it! Hope everyone is doing ok xx

ZylaB · 03/05/2016 16:30

Ladies! Lots of good luck, I think I'm going to lurk in the jan group as people are more or less at the same stage as me! I'll just be the first to give birth probably in Dec ;).
I hope it all goes as easily as it can :)

babymaybe562 · 03/05/2016 16:47

Hello everyone Smile just wondered if I could join in? EDD is 8th of December. I've seen the midwife but waiting another three weeks for the scan... First trimester really drags doesn't it!

Bigfam · 03/05/2016 17:09

Glad your bleeding has stopped south.
Hi to all the newbies Grin

Admarks · 03/05/2016 18:40

Can I join? My EDD is 31st December (so I'm also lurking on the late Dec/Jan group). Very excited but also nervous as its my first pregnancy! Had a tiny bit of bleeding yesterday but seems to have disappeared now (although I'm checking at every opportunity!)
