Cho I'm really sorry. Make sure dh looks after you. Take care of your self physically and emotionally. X

Salmon great news about your scan, just goes to show not all worrying symptoms are a sign of things gone wrong. Really pleased for you.

Iv been sick all day today. Previous days iv only been sick once but iv felt sick since I woke up and been sick 3 times, and don't think it's over. I do find the symptoms reassuring but don't think Iv kept any food down yet today. Boo. Just trying to sip bits of water to stop dehydration. Iv been struggling to drink anyway because I feel nauseous when my tummy is full but have felt dehydrated and on the edge of cystitis all week.. Which I know is worse so trying to keep the fluids up. On the plus side I think I heard baby's heartbeat on Doppler this morning, only for about 20 seconds but definitely there. I know I'm lucky as it's pretty early days to hear anything 8+4. Iv tried the last few days but heard nothing til today. Yay, all my worries over missed misc relieved for the time being. I know it doesn't mean it won't happen but at least I know all is ok at this very moment. And saved me about £70 as was going to book a scan as so anxious but won't bother now and just wait for 12 week one.

How is everyone else? Anyone else really sick? Xx

n0ne · 02/05/2016 16:43

My scan isn't til Friday. I know I could probably go to whatever the Dutch version of EPU is but I don't really see the point - it won't change anything. After speaking to mw she said it sounded 50/50 but I passed a fairly sizeable clot since so I'd be amazed if pg still viable. Sorry if I sound clinical, it's my way of dealing with it. Good luck to everyone else. I'll let you gals know what happens on Fri.

n0ne · 02/05/2016 16:47

Bella1985 and in fact everyone else still in the game - please do be excited about your pgs on here and don't feel like you're being insensitive! It's lovely to share in your joy.

ChoChang · 02/05/2016 17:59

I second that n0ne. It's wonderful to have support when things aren't working out but definitely wouldn't want anyone to feel they couldn't be excited or were being insensitive, it's such a wonderful thing to be happening. Will be keeping an eye to see how you're all getting on, even if I don't post much. N0ne I hope you get good news on Fri.

ChoChang · 02/05/2016 18:01

sunny how fantastic to hear the heartbeat!

TinySalmon · 02/05/2016 18:12

n0ne when I was doing my frantic googling on bleeding in pg I read some cases where women were passing clots and still went on to carry full term. Hang in there! xx

sunny how reassuring to hear a heartbeat !

weechops · 02/05/2016 18:18

cho big hugs lovely, take care Flowers

salmon that's brilliant news Smile

I'm 6+1 today and feeling nauseous most of the day along with ravenously hungry every two hours Confused

kittyscot81 · 02/05/2016 18:33

Thinking of all the ladies who have experienced a loss or scare recently. Just been catching up on this thread.

Thisisbonkers · 02/05/2016 19:03

Much sadness today FlowersFlowers

I've had a lovely day today. I think my nausea is much less when I've something to take my mind off it. Unfortunately, work doesn't cut the mustard and I'm back in tomorrow!

Nuttypops · 02/05/2016 19:09

Welcome and congratulations to all the new additions. So exciting to see little ones due around Christmas. I think the best thing about threads like this is the support, whatever is happening. Please don't let things overshadow your excitement.

CinderellaFant · 02/05/2016 19:17

Hi everyone sorry not been on much. Unfortunately I need to be taken off the list, our little sprout is no more Sad

I started bleeding yesterday lightly but heavy today. Took another test this evening and its negative now. Gutted.

Good luck to everyone else with their precious bundles xx

babyinthacorner · 02/05/2016 19:19

n0ne, rider & Cho I'm so sorry FlowersFlowersFlowers

I've just had my second nap of the day. Had a great day yesterday - not much nausea. Paying for it today. I craved a roast dinner, so went and bought ingredients, cooked it and ate it. Now regretting it. Sad

Question about first midwife appt - do they listen to the heartbeat or is it too early?

swancourt · 02/05/2016 19:21

So happy for you salmon, and so sorry for those of you having so many worries or sad times. You are so strong.

Welcome to the new ladies!

I had a rollercoaster of a day again - lost all my symptoms by lunchtime. Not a single pregnancy feeling at all. Actually had a cry and told my DH I knew it was all over. Now I'm feeling sick after eating my dinner and my boobs are stinging all over. Booked in for a scan on Friday 13th (I know, I know), so I can't wait until then just to see what's happening. I'll be 6+6.

swancourt · 02/05/2016 19:22

So sorry cinderella - cross posted. I am so sad for you. It's really tough this early pregnancy thing, and I hope you have lots of support and are able to give yourself lots of time to feel better. xxx

CinderellaFant · 02/05/2016 19:42

Thank you swan. Hope all goes well for you on the 13th!

underrugsswept · 02/05/2016 19:49

Baby the midwife won't try to find a heartbeat until much later. It's so hit and miss when they're tiny they don't want you to panic. My friend recently heard her baby's at her 16 week appointment but I've not heard of any midwives round here doing it earlier than that. I think it was even later than that for me last time. My friend is on her third pregnancy so the midwife said she'd give it a go but might not find it yet (she did).

Bigfam · 02/05/2016 19:51

Sorry to hear your news cinderella, take care of yourself Flowers

That's brilliant salmon. So happy for you Grin
babyinthacorner, I was always told it was too early yet. I can remember when I was pregnant with dd3 (couple of years ago) the mw I saw then didn't find her heart beat til later visits.

Whatafrickennightmare · 02/05/2016 20:27

Can I join in please EDD is 31st Dec. Already have DS 2.1 and DSS 6.9. I am 5 +2 and had tender boobs and slight cramping last week. Slight nausea today. Congratulations everyone.

lilydaisyrose · 02/05/2016 21:11

I'm sorry cinderella and Cho. Will you have another round of ivf Cho or is it too soon to think about that?

Salmon, I'm delighted for you - worth that flight home! Did they find a cause for the bleeding (sorry if you already said - this thread moves so fast!)

How's the bleeding now SDSunshine?

Welcome everybody new!

I've posted on the pregnant after miscarriage thread this evening as I'm having an anxious day today. Not outwardly, but inwardly. If I'm going to miscarry (no signs, just feel like it's such a real possibility again) that I wish it would happen sooner rather than later as I know it's going to be so much more traumatic the further on I am. I really want this baby but I'm so tense and feel like miscarriage is inevitable for me as I'm 36, BMI well over 40 and miscarried last pregnancy 4 months prior to this one.

FluffyPickleMonster · 02/05/2016 21:19

So sorry Cinderella Flowers

Welcome to the newbies!

I'm having serious pain on my right side this evening, feels more like a sharp pain rather than the cramping I've been having, although I haven't really had cramping the last week. It's worse when I move or cough. I'm 7+2. Properfreaking out. Can anyone reassure me or am I right to worry?

barkingtreefrog · 02/05/2016 21:29

lily I feel the same. I'm now past the point where I lost the three previous pregnancies but I'm still absolutely terrified every day that something is going to go wrong, and if it's going to happen I really want it to happen sooner rather than later. That's why I've booked in for a harmony test. They'll test for any chromosome issues, if they can tell me they haven't found anything that might cause a later mc I might be able to relax a little. And the extra scans won't hurt either, although the anxiety building up to each one is crippling.
One day at a time. I wish I could enjoy being pg but it's just a means to an end at the moment, something to endure so I finally get my baby. I'm really hoping I feel differently after 12 weeks, but I have friends who have miscarried later, and another friend who had a still birth, so I don't think the fear is ever going to go! I might feel better once I've had my booking in. Really hope I like the midwife. That's still two weeks away though! Send like forever!

fluffy I had the same last week (I'm now 8+3) it freaked me out as well, but apparently cramps/stabbing pain etc is normal HmmConfused

barkingtreefrog · 02/05/2016 21:30

Cinderella I'm so sorry Flowers.

TipBoov · 02/05/2016 21:44

So sorry to hear sad news. Thinking of you all Flowers

lilydaisyrose · 02/05/2016 21:46

Thanks barking, it's so lovely to know I'm not alone. I feel a bit stupid now though as my history is nowhere near as difficult or as tricky as yours - sorry if I've been insensitive.

TipBoov · 02/05/2016 21:46

I'm 8+5 today based on IVF dates (8 weeks exactly based on scan dates) and struggling with nausea and tiredness. I had an afternoon nap yesterday, and a pot noodle for my tea tonight Blush

I've booked a scan next Monday for reassurance, I'm just really concerned about the 5 day difference between dates.
