I don't live in the UK so no idea about EPU here. I'll call the midwife today, see what they say.

Sorry to see this salmon and none, I really hope it isn't you out and is just random bleeding which does somethings happen. Thinking of you and hoping you can both be seen today.

I am wondering the same thing, started bleeding bright red blood yesterday which is still going today. Earliest appointment at EPU is on Weds but that's at a different hospital so I am hoping to speak to the one closer to home today. I did have bleeding at random intervals with DD so really hoping this is just the same as that and all is well.

Salmon and n0ne hope you both managed to get seen as soon as possible and fingers crossed for you nuttypops

Hi everyone, can I join too? Found out a week ago I'm pregnant, EDD 25th dec so I'm around 6+3 weeks I guess. Not having too many symptoms yet just peeing a lot, constantly thirsty and quite tired. I'm having a scan in an hour (transvaginal I think) seems very early but I live in Hong Kong and guess that's how they do it here! Keeping fingers crossed everything is as it should be.

Best of luck to you today Nuttypops and I hope the bleeding is part of the process. I've read of so many women who have bleeding during their pregnancies and it's all turned out fine

For myself, I've definitely been reading too much on Google. But I've also had the chance to think through my options if this is a MC. I was adamant I wanted an EPRC again as I recovered from this very quickly last time and for me it was emotionally helpful. Having read that it can damage the uterus and because I had some differences in my periods which never got back to normal, I will either MC naturally or by medical management. I am actually very scared of this I realise as I've been really emotional since making this decision.
Altho this might be only by second MC, I've decided to pay for the genetic testing on the little cells.
I think I'm starting to feel less pregnant as I could lie on my front this morning - something which was unthinkable a couple of weeks ago with my poker tip nipples. I did pee on a stick this morning but it quickly showed positive.
It's the waiting game now until Thursday. I thought I was prepared but tearful this morning so maybe not so much.

Joining those with bleeding. I dreamt I miscarried and then this morning I've had fresh blood, after my bleeding had finally stopped for a few days. So devastating.

Hi! I found out this week that I'm 6 weeks pregnant and the due date is Christmas Day! the date will probably change after the first scan but at the moment I can't believe it could be a christms baby! So far no sickness and nausea, just bloating, sore boobs and light cramps. Will be seeing the midwife tomorrow so looking forward to starting the process and finding out when the first scan will be!

First baby and no close friends with babies so mumsnet is a BIG help! X

sunshine I'm so sorry it's back, are you going to call epu? Really hoping it's nothing, but it's such a worry

rider keep hanging in there. Loss of symptoms don't necessarily mean anything, although I've also been worrying as my boobs don't hurt anymore and the nausea has dropped right down.
All 3 of my mc were natural, and I do think it's emotionally harder as you're dealing with the bleeding so it's a constant reminder, and it can drag out a lot longer, but it's nothing you can't handle if you need to. Still hoping it doesn't come to that for you .

Sorry, and nuttypops as well . I hope you can get seen before Wednesday, waiting is awful.

I finally managed to read the whole thread and realised that my excited first post has landed right in the middle of some really sad posts for some of you going through a tough time. Hope you're all ok and sorry my post seemed really insensitive, I didn't mean to be.

Thinking of those of you having a hard time

Keeping everything firmly crossed for those having a difficult time. My SIL bled with her first pregnancy and now has a boisterous 2 year old so hang in there.

Hi Ladies!

An update from me - after having spent near 3 hours in A&E and AGU this morning (as EPU closed for bank holiday) plus 2 hours in A&E last night + blood tests... We had a scan and everything is FINE! Baby is there with a little heart beating away. I'm am beside myself with relief but very tired from all the emotion and planning to sleep the rest of the day away.

Hi ladies, just checking back in. I'm so sorry to see that so many of you are going through difficult times and bleeding at the moment, it's so worrying, I have everything crossed for all of you

So I'm officially out and can be taken off the list please kitkat when you next update (you're doing a great job by the way!). Had repeat scan this morning and still just a pregnancy sac and yolk sac. It has also got smaller since last scan so its a missed miscarriage. Had a lot of tears even though I'd mentally prepared myself for it, and me and dh need to have a chat this afternoon about whether to go for natural mc, drugs to bring it on or d & c. I'm leaning towards surgery at the moment to get it over with but need to read up on it, they gave us some info at the clinic so that's this afternoon's job.

Just wanted to say thanks so much for all your support and good wishes over the last few weeks, it's meant a lot since no one in real life is aware of our situation. I hope you all go on to have happy and successful pregnancies and beautiful Christmas babies x
