I've just been signed off work for 2 weeks - I work in retail and being on my feet all day is giving me really painful and swollen ankles. And trying to work through the sickness and tiredness is so difficult, I've really been struggling. God, I had no idea early pregnancy was this tough, I feel like shit all the time!

onthemetro I hear you. I am self employed and so grateful I can set my own hours; how you've got this far on your feet I don't know. Today I am working from bed; vomiting getting worse and zero energy for anything.

Onthemetro and almond I'm the same, really struggling today. My boss is being super nice and has upped my work from home days but I'm in London today and just feel awful.

I'm supposed to be running a training session in a different part of London on Friday for 50 people but I've had to fake illness and cancel. I feel so guilty as normally I'd just make it happen but the thought of standing up for 7 hours, teaching all those people had me in tears this morning.
