Can I join you ladies?

I'm May, and terrified at 4+1 with my first. EDD is 4/01/17

I've been so unbelievably lucky to conceive in cycle 4, and am stupidly convincing myself that something will go wrong. Been cramping since the day of the BFP, but no spotting or other nasty symptoms to justify feeling this way.

BunchOfBobs · 28/04/2016 11:38

So exciting Indi. I just had my liver scan and really hoped I'd get a sneaky peek at Pip, nope SadLiver and everything apparently look fine.

Yay to halfway sand 20 weeks Grin

Congrats and welcome May. The first few weeks feel like that, cramping is completely normal. It's natures way of teasing you. Don't be surprised if you're running to the loo to do knicker checks every 5 mins to check af hasn't arrived.

shelbTa · 28/04/2016 11:42

Welcome may!

Good news on scan bunch.

My hands now seem to be getting bigger, wondering how long before engagement ring has to come off, I'll be gutted.

X

StarkyTheDirewolf · 28/04/2016 11:51

Hiya may best advice I can give is don't worry, cramping is completely normal like the others have said. I'm 10 weeks today and still checking y knickers every 5 mins! (Dh says ill have a belly in the way before I stop it!) Congratulations!

Glad you're feeling a bit fresher after your bath potato

firstgo1984 · 28/04/2016 12:02

13+4 on my dating scan today, so no change to my due date. Got come lovely views :)

mayago · 28/04/2016 12:33

Thanks for the reassurance Bunch and Starky. Looking up cramping in early pregnancy on Google just scares me with talk of ectopic pregnancy.

I don't normally cramp with AF, so haven't been doing the knickers check.

I've got a lot of bloating, and struggling to find jeans to fit already Confused. It's going to be a fun nine months!

Ooh, dating scan! I can't wait for mine firstgo! Glad it went well.

PotatosMum · 28/04/2016 13:55

Welcome May Grin don't worry about the cramping you'll get a lot of that. If you do get spotting see your Dr/midwife straight away but don't panic. It's incredibly common (most of us have had it) and rarely anything to worry about Smile
Bloating is also the gift that keeps on giving. You'll be making a lot of interesting noises and smells over the next few months.

Glad your liver is looking good Bunch Grin

Shelb I had to take my pre-engagement (I don't get a proper engagement ring until the divorce papers finalise... Only a few more weeks Grin) ring off yesterday Sad

Yay for the good scan First

After kicking about like crazy the last few days potato has now decided to freak me out by going quiet. She's probably shattered as she's been awake a lot... Probably upset about the constant cold compresses mean mum I think she liked the warm bath though as she's hardly moved since then... Spoke too soon... OH just started playing guitar and she's off lol

Impressive list we have going here now!

I have a liver thing too bunch but can't have any scans whilst pregnant so they're just no its ring LFTs in blood and if it goes high they will think about doing something.

The suspense is killing me for team pink or blue for you indi!

Hope everyone's doing OK and you're feeling a little better after your bath potato.

Day 1 of using my badge at 18 weeks and feeling like a fraud (although I'm not haha)

Laurenrl · 28/04/2016 16:25

Monitoring not 'no It's ring' . Spell checking is not my forte

Nevlet · 28/04/2016 16:40

Cmon Indi the suspense is getting to me!!! Grin

shelbTa · 28/04/2016 16:49

Ha, I was checking in to see how indi got on too!

Ladies - I really need a drink after a shocker of a day. Do you think a weak shandy (1/4 bottle of beer and can of Sprite) will be ok?

X

BunchOfBobs · 28/04/2016 16:52

Shelb I too have been craving shandy for a lot of the day. Sounds fine to me.

My pelvic pain is horrendous today and I've just had a bit of a blub. Liver fine, so obviously something else has to kick in.

Lauren what have your bloods been coming back with? Have you had any itching too? I'm so bored of the weekly blood tests but know it's for a good reason. Though I'm in day two of no itching so I'm faintly optimistic they'll sign me off this week.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 28/04/2016 17:01

shelb I reckon that sounds fine! Enjoy it!

Also checking in to see if indi has updated!

There's the most gorgeous ginger beer on offer in Tesco and I can't get there to buy any. Not because of nausea just because it's amazing. Been lucky this week, haven't felt sick at all (feel bad for the ladies that have suffered) but woke up at 8 freaked out because I hadn't gone for my wee when Dh gets in to bed and I've been up twice in the night for the past few weeks. But my boobs really hurt and I'm exhausted so I'm not coming over all doom and gloom yet. This 12 week scan can't come fast enough so I can hopefully throw off the blanket of bloody misery and lighten up a smidgen!

Flashinthepan · 28/04/2016 17:12

Hello there. C'mon Indi, gives us some news, its cruel to keep a whole thread of pregnant ladies in suspense.

Early scan tomorrow at 7+5. Fingers crossed for a blueberry sized heartbeat. Still got boobs that hurt constantly, no real morning sickness, just a general eurgh feeling, especially first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and if I don't eat frequently.

Welcome Maya!

BunchOfBobs · 28/04/2016 17:15

Starky the needing to wee so frequently lessens as you get closer to 12 weeks as baby loves out of your pelvis and off your bladder. So panic not. But it comes back with a vengeance later on. I'm back to two nightly wees again and since I was 5 weeks I have only had 3 full nights sleep Hmm
Have you thought about an early scan to set your mind at ease? I had one as I was such a wreck.

LaraG13 · 28/04/2016 17:18

Just checking in. Sorry to hear some of you have been suffering. potato I really feel for you. Hope you're managing to keep your chin up. Hope you had a better day nev.

I moved into the 2nd trimester according to Ovia yesterday 🎉 but am still extremely nauseous and being sick. Starting to worry I'll be one of the ones who stays ill for 9 months. Have also had searing pain in one breast today, so like you bunch I've had a little cry.

Great that your scan went well first!

Welcome may and congrats!! All sorts of pains and bloating are normal.

starky I feel really sad that you haven't been able to enjoy/believe that you're preggo so far. Roll on 12 week scan - I hope it marks a difference in your anxiety levels.

LaraG13 · 28/04/2016 17:27

And hurry up Indi!

Good luck for tomorrow flash

And definitely have your drink shelb

StarkyTheDirewolf · 28/04/2016 17:30

Oh thank goodness bunch I feel a bit better now about it! Like you say, have been up every night since about 4 weeks and it freaked me out because I remember dh getting in bed, being aware that I needed a wee, but didn't actually go for one! Grin

lara and bunch I've got it in my head that I've got to wait till 12 weeks for a scan, and it's sort of stuck a bit, same with telling anyone. We can't share it until we've had the scan and for some reason I've decided that 12 weeks is my 'going to relax' point! And now we're so close, I'm determined to push myself a bit farther! Longest away it can be is 3 weeks 6 days! Grin

BunchOfBobs · 28/04/2016 17:41

Glad I could help Starky. You have so much more willpower than me. It'll fly by. It's dragging now I know I have no more scans left boo.

IndiX · 28/04/2016 18:05

Aaaahh ladies so sorry for the delay! We couldn't hold in the secret any longer to our family so it's been a mad afternoon of calling everyone.

I'm TEAM PINK!!! I am so so happy, and so shocked, completely convinced myself she was a boy.

Hope everyone is doing ok, will catch up now xx

Danni89 · 28/04/2016 18:10

Awww congrats indi!!

Potatoe could you add boy next to my name on the list please Flowers

Also congrats and Welcome May!

shelbTa · 28/04/2016 18:11

Yey!! Congrats indi xx

ElleSarcasmo · 28/04/2016 18:11

Woohoo congrats on the pink bump Indi! Flowers

ElleSarcasmo · 28/04/2016 18:12

Welcome May Smile

Nevlet · 28/04/2016 18:14
