indi I've been looking at heart rate and train or horse theories. They're fun to do but they're predominantly a load of 💩
My heart rate would indicate girl (148bpm), but nub and skull say boy! I can't wait to find out but I have over 5 months to wait! #teamvanilla 😂

Feefeefs · 27/04/2016 17:29

Thanks peaches struggling a bit to stay positive DH is really positive which is helping plus my morning/all day sickness has really picked up which is horrible but reassuring. I'm still googling 3-4 times a day tho Confused.

Hope you get your scan date soon! Did you say you were Glasgow before? I rang a number and booked direct if so could send it to you?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 27/04/2016 17:40

Good luck for tomorrow indi

peaches I've got my hospital booking in next week at 11+1 and won't have a scan date generated until after that. So have no idea when mine is still. Frustrating! I'd get back on to your original midwife and hound them, it sounds like their mistake in not forwarding your referal so they can be the ones to push it with scan department!

Hope everyone is well. I'm just properly bored of waiting now. We still haven't told anyone and I'm getting fat/waterlogged/bloated!

PotatosMum · 27/04/2016 18:00

Bunch that pretty much what I've been doing to get out of bed but with the added inconvenience that putting any pressure on my left arm or leg or twisting my torso in any way is excruciating Sad so if I miss judge and roll over I can't stop myself or correct myself. I can't even stay in a sitting position, when I go to the loo I have to hold onto the radiator on one side and the sink on the other because I can't support my body in an upright position Blush

Pink no more house news. We're hoping for a end of July completion so just boring paperwork now.

Stark most of pregnancy is just boring waiting unfortunately. Still, don't knock it, if you're bored it means everything's going well! Wink

Waiting for OH to come home from taking the kids to their clubs... He's bringing McDonald's with him Grin mean time I'm slightly worried I'm going to explode tmi but I haven't pooped in 4 days because my muscles can't push... I really need to poop Blush

feefs if the ms is kicking in it sounds good to me, as good as sickness can be Grin won't be long until til you get to see your wee bean. I'm under care on the city outskirts unfortunately. I was offered the two city options but picked the one nearest me. If it keeps up I'll be changing......

starky I was with my midwife last Friday and she agreed I should have heard by now as in their words they like to give you plenty of notice. Thats were i got the direct number to chase it up. At my first appointment she told me my booking in date and my first consultant date (which is not even until June), and my booking in date was confirmed via post so she definitely sent all my booking in details away to the central department. The scan dates was the only appointment system she doesnt get to see. Apparently your scan request goes on a little card like a postcard. Obviously it's been misplaced somewhere along the line which I understand but surely someone has to then say ok, we need to just sort it out! Looks like we will both be nearer the 14 week mark for our scans Sad not that we are impatient to see our babies.....

If anyone is struggling to poop I had this issue after my op last yr. I found the nak'd bars were good. I really can't eat prunes or drink prune juice, but these are actually nice and made up of poop friendly ingredients. Its a horrible thing to suffer, especially with the added fullness/pressure from a baby.

PotatosMum · 27/04/2016 18:46

Peaches I'll give those bars a go. I've already tried a packet of fig rolls but sadly nothing.

I went 9 days without a poop a few weeks ago potato the only thing that got it out was about two thirds of a bottle of califig!

Just spent another few hours in triage this time for awful pain from my belly button right the way round through my hip to middle of my back!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 27/04/2016 18:51

You're right potato boring is good! I'm just willing the next few weeks away so I can actually see fx a heartbeat, tell my dps and dsis etc. Still not believing it will happen. And until then, I can't mentally move to the next step!

If you can stomach it, try a bassets licorice wand or some pontefract cakes. I was bunged up but sore piles already! and it did me the world of good with very little actual effort involved if you get me!

That is very frustrating for you peachesFlowers

Peaches8Posies · 27/04/2016 19:05

potato iv found the cocoa and cherry bakewell good. Dates and raisins help me. The back of the packet let's you know what's what. Hopefully you get some relief soon.

Feefeefs · 27/04/2016 19:06

Thanks peaches no option for me so I suppose it's good your got offered! I'll be at the Royal. Reasonably handy

Peaches8Posies · 27/04/2016 19:10

Thanks starky hopefully sorted soon.

nev that sounds do scary, hope your ok.

Peaches8Posies · 27/04/2016 19:15

Did you not get offered the new southern feefs? Was a bit of a drive for me plus visitors so I said no. The royal is were ill be if this doesn't get sorted. Ohhhh, we could be passing through the maternity unit and not even realise haha Grin

shelbTa · 27/04/2016 19:33

Ladies who are struggling to poop - Someone told me raw carrots are good so I'm eating every day and it's really working.

Bump watch, 22+3...

IndiX · 27/04/2016 19:41

Gorgeous bump shelb! Hope I'm that neat.

I have had a haemorrhoid this week, not horrendously painful but not the bestSad. I'm usually pretty regular on the poo front but my mum always says grapes and oranges are good.

PotatosMum · 27/04/2016 19:50

Nev oh no, do they know what's causing it?

Stark you will definitely see a mini stark, I have faith Smile I'm not a big liquorice fan but that sounds like exactly what I need.. I wonder if strawberry liquorice would do the trick?

shelb raw carrots I can do. I bloody love them. I shall have to send OH to the supermarket tomorrow for poop fodder Grin

Nice bump!

I think that pregnancy books under play poop... We seem to spend half our time discussing how to poop but the books just say you might get a bit constipated Confused

Pinklily1 · 27/04/2016 19:53

Lovely bump shelb!

Nev, are you ok now? Did they say what caused it?

I'm not having too many poop issues but I have been eating a fair amount of All Bran and Bran Flakes!!

shelbTa · 27/04/2016 20:00

Oh no just saw your post nev - what's going on? Hope all ok.

Thanks ladies. Currently horizontal in bed polishing off the Galaxy #preglife.

X

Nevlet · 27/04/2016 20:10

Thanks all! Possibility its my appendix but it didnt hurt when they poked where that is and am not sick so they doubt it... Or more likely pgp/ stretching/baby pressing a nerve. So sent home to rest and go back if it worsens or am sick/have bleeding. Not sure what to do about school tomorrow now though...

BunchOfBobs · 27/04/2016 20:11

Ladies with constipation I really feel for you. I suffered awful a while back and still have the piles from it Hmmweetabix and melon for breakfast every day is keeping me moving.
Also soreen, mmmm I love it.

Peaches what a pain, hope you get booked in soon.

For those discussing gym gear earlier my h&m pre preggo pants and Tesco top still fit me perfectly and are comfortable. I'm shocked.

Any ideas what caused the pain Nev? Hope you're okay now.

Potato hope you're feeling a bit better this evening.

Lovely bump Shelb.

Here's mine at 24+3 in above discussed gym gear. And my feet have gone!

Pinklily1 · 27/04/2016 20:28

Fab bump Bunch, and fab gym gear too! My tops still fit fine and the pants are ok, but they sit quite low and I'm worried they are constricting baby!

shelbTa · 27/04/2016 20:30

Looking trim bunch! Lovely bump. Nice workout gear too

Feefeefs · 27/04/2016 20:35

No no offer peaches, just "your maternity care will be at the princess Royal" that was just the booking lady though haven't met the midwife though maybe she'll offer? Don't want to go to the new hospital either tho just a hassle!

Love very bumps bunchofbobs and shelbta

PotatosMum · 27/04/2016 20:39

nev not good! Hope the pain gets better.

bunch ooo soreen, another thing I like Smile
Pain has levelled out and I've turned into a druggy looking forward to my next paracetamol fix.
Your bump is impressive !!!

shelb the one good thing about my condition is that I get to just lay in bed and OH fetches anything that's out of reach for me... I shall miss the service when I'm better and he expects me to get off my lazy bum again lol

Nevlet · 27/04/2016 21:26

Thanks potato pains been a lot lot better since I have been home and on sofa but moved down into pubic bone so i guess it is pgp!

OH and both are Mums are pestering me about work tomorrow but I really really dont want to miss any more days if I can avoid it.

PotatosMum · 27/04/2016 22:02

Nev if you're in pain screw work. If I had got myself signed off when I started to suffer with pain instead of carrying on maybe I wouldn't be the pathetic creature I am now. You are up duff you need to look after yourself better than you usually would as your bump is more important than your job x
