potato that is unbelievable! I'm so chuffed for you!! Yay for things going right.

soda are you northern as in Geordie northern?!

Just had an asda curry (the best kind of curry) for tea and ate more than I have in weeks. I definitely look pregnant

Pinklily1 · 19/04/2016 22:03

That sounds promising Miley! Have you felt OK today?

I read awhile ago that they are opening a Gregg's in New York! It's spreading worldwide!

Sodasoda · 19/04/2016 22:11

Yes miley! Smile

Morwenna1 · 19/04/2016 22:44

Found you all! Thanks Bunch ;) I stand no chance of trying to keep up with this thread, so you'll all have to forgive me for not responding to everything!

That sounds promising Miley! Spicy stuff too. Hopefully this is a good sign that things are moving on?

Wow Potato - nice one on the flat sale! Hopefully you can focus on moving into your dream place now before mini potato arrives!

Nowhere near sorting out the nursery yet...dumping ground is a good analogy! Need to crack on with things pronto!

Aquanatal is fun, been to my second session now and I think I'll enjoy taking the weight off as time goes on!

Planeteer · 20/04/2016 06:18

So... Amazon delivered a parcel to our slightly bonkers neighbour yesterday. We were out last night, but he's decided that it's entirely reasonable to ring the doorbell at 5.50 this morning to drop it off. It's a pack of bra extenders. I DO NOT NEED THESE MORE THAN SLEEP. Aaargh!!

Can't wait til we can move!

Rant over. As you were. Zzzz

PotatosMum · 20/04/2016 07:44

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

Planet I hope you made your neighbour aware he's an idiot?

I've got a midwife appointment today and I need to go and sign the solicitors paperwork for the flat. It's all go!

Morning ladies

Congrats on flat sale potato! That must be a quick moving market where you are.

Omg planet I would be seething at that.

Well, day three of the shits (sorry) today. I'm taking rehydration salts. My midwife is useless and to quote "if you feel you need to see your gp then get an appointment". What do you reckon? It's just the hassle of securing one, getting time off work etc when I was off yesterday....

At least I've got a seat on the train...every cloud.

Great seeing people in real life on IG!

X

Pinklily1 · 20/04/2016 08:41

Morning all

Hope everyone is ok.

Planet, that is totally bonkers and unacceptable - 5.50am??!

Potato, hope the midwife appointment goes well today.

Shelb, I'd maybe leave it another day and then make a same day appointment if you can. There's no harm in getting checked out. Your midwife sounds rubbish! Yeah for the seat on the train though, I always think that's a little achievement!

Are any 20+ weekers getting period like pain? I had then during the night and then they wore off. I've been for a run this morning and now they are back. No bleeding or anything but it's uncomfortable. Maybe baby doesn't like the jigging up and down Hmm

Mileymoocow · 20/04/2016 08:43

shelb I'd see your GP. Dehydration is no fun at all and 3 days seems excessive.

planet I hope you told him to piss right off! What a ridiculous thing to do!

After what felt like passing a porcupine this morning, I'm having a bowl of fruit and fibre (tell me you didn't sing that in your head!)

Mileymoocow · 20/04/2016 08:45

pink I'm not a 20 week+ but I get horrible cramps when I go for a brisk walk with the dog. I wondered the same so slowed my pace right down (you know, incase baby fell out of my vagina from walking too quick Hmm )

BunchOfBobs · 20/04/2016 08:47

Shelb what's your IG name, want to make sure I'm following you. Clue will do if you don't want to put yourself on here Smile

Plan your neighbour sounds nuts!!

Shelb 3 days does sound a bit much, I would call the gp, mine are quite good and if I can't get an appointment they will do a phone consult. Worth a try? Woop to the train seat though.

Pinklily1 · 20/04/2016 08:54

I just choked on my tea at the comment about baby falling out As you walk Miley, made me chuckle! I'm hoping that doesn't happen!

Planeteer · 20/04/2016 08:55

I came over all stupidly British and reserved and gave him a particularly hard stare. Which will obviously have chilled him to his very core...

If we're still here in October (please god don't let us still be here in October) then I will be sorely tempted to use the baby as a sort of poo flamethrower if he tries it again!

Miley I am unreasonably delighted by your Asda curry triumph. Long may it continue. Bowel porcupines probably just about preferable to vomathon...
*
Pink*, sorry you're in pain. Could they be BH? Is it too early for that?

LaraG13 · 20/04/2016 09:10

Totally struggling to keep up!! Hope everyone is well.

Yay for curry miley! And I love the yellow nursery 💛

Congrats on the flat offer potato! We've got agents coming in this week to value.

planet I'd be fuming at that!

Beautiful scans from last week all. So exciting. potato, meant to say that my due date has shifted to 26 oct.

shelb I've suffered from diarrhoea (as well as vomiting) all through the first trimester. The longest stint was 8 days. I rang NHS direct and they didn't seem too concerned. Said I should probably go to doctor after 7-10 days but that bout cleared up so I didn't. I've been on rehydration salts. I think it's just a less common pregnancy side effect. I was also told to eat plain food and fewer high fibre foods.

Great to see you back first.

Nevlet · 20/04/2016 09:49

Morning will catch up properly later... Just had our anomaly scan with heart consultant heart is all correctly formed and functioning well, and everything else was fine too! So relieved!

BunchOfBobs · 20/04/2016 10:24

Woop Nev glad to hear it.

Pink I get the odd cramp now and then but if you think it's linked to the the running maybe try lower impact for a while see if it makes a difference. They say listen to your body when exercising during pregnancy, might be yours is asking not to run?

Mileymoocow · 20/04/2016 10:35

pink pregnancy has implanted me with irrational phobias, I won't lie 😂

planet yes! I'd rather have a sore poop hole than vomit all day.

Curry smell was not pleasant this morning and made me hurl - far too strong a smell. I still really enjoyed it though! I'm all about mango at the minute, too.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 20/04/2016 11:06

miley I'm with you on irrational phobias. I'm scared of bending over St the waist. Pooing is also quite terrifying!

It's a beautiful day here! 🌞

Mileymoocow · 20/04/2016 11:24

Yay! Here, too Grin think I'll have my daily cuppa in the garden. Just wallpapering in the master bedroom then painting of the staircase left to do and we're all sorted finally. Just need OHs dad here to do it... I'm so bored I can't wait to go back to work.

Canters15 · 20/04/2016 11:26

miley eating mango is well known as a pregnant lady thing in my DH home country.... I found this out when he caught me guzzling mango!

potato I wish someone would buy me a flat as a gift! Lucky her!

Midwife appointment in 30 mins so home on the couch waiting. Just as well as i feel really quite sick again today. Sigh.

Peaches8Posies · 20/04/2016 11:52

Hello ladies ☺

Been missing for few days. Last week was mostly about me struggling to be a basic adult! Weekend was pretty much a wash out. Today is first day I don't have a blinding headache! Anyway....

Glad everyone is well. Yeh potato on the flat. Hope other sales go just was well for our other movers.

On the theme of irrational thoughts, I've been waking up about 4 in the morning really worried. It's getting exhausting and when I wake up the rational part of me wonders why? Pregnancy is a whole minefield of crazy!! I have my big midwife appointment on Friday, bloods etc... getting done. Really hope they have an idea when my scan will be at 10+3 I'd like a date to look forward too. Know my luck I'll done at 13+ weeks.

Lovely and sunny hear hope the suns making an appearance for you all today too 🌞

Peaches8Posies · 20/04/2016 11:54

canters i bought a tray of fresh mango pieces 2 weeks ago and ate full thing. I'm on to plums and berries just now. Now I could go some mango 😊

IndiX · 20/04/2016 11:55

Not really been able to catch up but fab news on the flat potato.
Yay for feeling a bit better Miley and being able to eat more, I'm also OBSESSED with mangoes atm. Plus celery and houmous..at least they are healthy cravings.
Great news on the scan nev.
Sunny day here too, I'm off for a spin class, swim and full body massage. Hit the 15 week mark today so me and Bean are going to enjoy the pamper.
I have my gender scan tomorrow..I am SO excited!! I keep swaying between what 'vibe' I am getting, pink or blue I'm just happy if baby is healthy.
If anyone fancies a guess go ahead, I'll attach my 12 week scan Grin

Thread #5 - TTC#1 grads thread - now we're cooking with charcoal!
Peaches8Posies · 20/04/2016 12:00

indi im pretty poor at the whole scan guessing but when I looked I thought girl first so I'll go team pink. Fingers crossed baby plays ball and is lying in a good position for you x

Mileymoocow · 20/04/2016 12:52

I still think a girly indi! Bloody hell, enjoy your activities. I'm sitting in the garden grazing on babybel, mango and cashew nuts
