Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
largeginandtonic · 11/01/2007 20:28

RK the top is Rangers (gradad is scottish)They got an away and home strip each for xmas. I loathe them.....The dts are the easiest to cope with, it's the stroppy girl and stubborn ds and tear away toddler that cause the most trouble in the house!

Im hoping the baby will be a dream....sleep all night and day.... At least (for a while) i will be able to put it down in one place and it wont move...unless one of the others moves it...

Frenchsmallfry · 11/01/2007 21:26

God I have lost it, just posted all about dh and needing to use the loo an annying ammount(me that is, not dh) on a bloody pg'ncy thread about itching. Durrrrrrrrrrr, thought I was still on our thread.

Anyway, here we go, second time lucky.....
Dh is back in his room, he phoned earlier, all went well we presume. He is in pain and sounds like he is on his stag do!!!!!!!!!!! says he's hungry as had nothing since tea yesterday, & not allowed anything until tommorow. bless. going in tommorow morning so I hope he feels a bit better by then.

Anyone elses bubs sitting on their bladder? I don't have time to keep going for a wee, it's very inconvienient.

Frenchsmallfry · 11/01/2007 21:30

sorry RK great news on your scan. looking forward to mine on Monday, even if I probably will be on my todd, not sure dh will be up to it, but we'll see.

JonahB · 11/01/2007 21:39

Well, I?ve just been for my landscaping and I thought of you all . Everything is shipshape again. Pebble, I?ve been going to the same person for about 4 years, maybe more. I just don?t get embarrassed in front of her anymore. I keep in my head, she probably sees a lot worse than anything I?ve got!!

LG&T - I?ve just checked out the DS photo ? are they holding what it looks like they?re both holding??? I didn?t realise they are identical ? how lovely

FSF ? hope all your LO?s are better soon!! I feel for you, 3 at once must be so worrying and stressful. Glad DH is out of surgery. I?m sorry, I should know this. What was the surgery for?

Katy, where in Manchester? WHERE WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, due to the lack of sweet food in my house, I?ve just rustled up some Nigella muffins. Just eaten the first (burning my mouth, I couldn?t and wouldn?t wait) and now I?m going to shuffle off and get my 2nd. I made 12. Do you think they?ll be any left when my DH gets home later?

largeginandtonic · 11/01/2007 21:50

I made the cheesecake mix from the cupboard, i have eaten half already, dos it make it healthy if you put lemon zest on it?!!!

FSF, phew about A. glad he is out of surgery and awake.

Am off to watch the rest of ER, oooooh i do love it!

katybumps · 11/01/2007 21:51

largeginandtonic · 11/01/2007 22:01

Just blubbed through the end of ER, am totally useless at the moment. Everything makes me blub, not sure i have ever been so bad. Im not a crier normally. I feel the need to watch a really sad movie to cry it all out, not sure if that will work though

largeginandtonic · 11/01/2007 22:35

Oh god, just read GGG'S post about her darling daughter maude. Hugs will be in my bed tonight.

See you all in the morning

Pebblemum · 12/01/2007 09:22

Morning all!!

GGG's post was very sad (but nice at the same time IYKWIM), sat here and blubbed when i read it. Maude sounds like a gorgeous well loved little girl. I cant imagine how hard it must be for them all

largeginandtonic · 12/01/2007 09:44

It was lovely too pebble. I couldnt post i think she is very brave. Maude sounded lovely.

Morning everyone, MKG better make an appearance today.... or i will be jumping on a plane to DC....

Juicylucytoo · 12/01/2007 09:45

It is so very sad. My sister went through this only 3 months ago and is still devastated. I really feel for GGG. I don't think you can ever "get over" the loss of a child. It's just so unfair.

On a much more trivial note, I'm off to see Kylie tomorrow in Manchester. Looking forward to the adventure. Getting the train up there with 3 boyfreindz. After the concert I will be heading back to the hotel to crash out and they will be hitting Canal Street! Pregnancy just isn't fair sometimes.

largeginandtonic · 12/01/2007 09:56

Lucky you juicy, are your boyfriendz gay? Not sure dh would go and see Kylie with me DD would be thrilled though but she may be alittle short at just 6 years old....

Bored, bored, bored, have sorted the recycling out, phoned British gas, tidied the kitchen, done the first load of washing and eaten 3 weetabix......

Juicylucytoo · 12/01/2007 10:03

Yes, all camp as christmas - DH will not be coming with us. A Kylie concert for him = Wild horses and all that.

Gosh, you do sound organised. I am at work trying to avoid doing any. Also very BORED.

largeginandtonic · 12/01/2007 10:22

Only doing stuff cos im bored. Poor Hugs is so lost when they all go to school, he is like my little shadow round the house. Iv'e never had just 1 at home before, always at least 2!

Bore, bored.....might go and make scones, but then again i will just eat them

notsolilKel · 12/01/2007 10:23

LG&T, I thought u had loads of kids? How can you be bored?

largeginandtonic · 12/01/2007 11:00

There's a bloody echo in here today. Am off out for lunch am soooo bored. Wooohooo a trip out! Got caught up on a name thread, have some new ones

Fabian, Maximo, Lucian, Madoc, Gideon, Caspian, Cosimo\cosmo, Humphrey and Hector.

Still like Digby though

Pebblemum · 12/01/2007 11:04

Im the same today LG&T, ive got a lot of tidying up to do but not until 1pm when ds2 is at pre-school (its easier that way) so for now im just sat here messing about on pc waiting for dh to wake up. He's got work at 1pm today which is another reason im leaving the housework until then.

I really fance MacDonalds today, we were going to have one yesterday but the remote for DH's car went wrong and so it wouldnt start, waited over an hour and a half in a pub (was where dh had left it night before)for RAC only to find out there was a special override code in the handbook, then we had to take it to a Rover garage to get a whole new remote by which time it was time for Dh to go to work so the 'baby' missed out. Im going to try to convince DH that ds2 wants a happy meal as a treat for settling into Pre-school They are Scooby doo ones at the moment and both DH and Ds2 are big fans so that may help sway his decision. Wish me luck!!!

Ive spent all morning trying to download a photo of my rather big bump but cant do it for some reason, its probably something im doing but its driving me mad now.

RedKennedy · 12/01/2007 12:00

Morning Ladies,
LGT surely you should be enjoying getting your feet up and having some peace and quiet?! I know I would probably be horizontal at every opportunity. But thats cos I am a lazy cow..

Hey, has anyone else got square norks?
Or is it just me?

Pebblemum · 12/01/2007 13:22

ive not got square norks but i have got terrible wind that sneaks up on me when i least expect it and with no warning ive had it for the past three days. Luckily it doesnt smell but its just so loud there is no way i can disguise it. At the moment im putting Dh to shame and trust me he is the worlds loudest farter. Its worse at night and not very ladylike at all but I cant help it, all i have to do is move slightly Its just as windy in my house as it is outside and thats saying something. Any tips on stopping it, apart from sticking a cork up there which i think could be lethal at the moment, id end up killing someone with it

Ive just had my Macdonalds, 2 big macs now im bloated but it was nice. Ds2 got his scooby happy meal so he was happy, he is now at pre-school for the afternoon and dh is at work. Peace at last!!!

madeindevon · 12/01/2007 13:43

hi!
i posted on here a while ago but ever since ive tried to get back in my work firewall has blocked me!
but today....im back for some reason!?
Anyway since i last posted had 20 week scan. everything good except a tiny bit of fluid at back of babies neck. they dont seeme that worried but they want to re-scan me in another 6 weeks just to keep eye on it and have recommended a TORCH test for infections...whatever that is.
didnt want to know thet flavour! but was great to see hte little one moving about, kicking, moving arms and sucking thumb!

Pebblemum · 12/01/2007 14:11

I think ive finally managed to do it, fingers crossed.

Here is my bump

Ignore the groovy clothes i took the photo myself first thing this morning and i had just chucked clothes on in case someone knocked the door. I know look more presentable lol

Pebblemum · 12/01/2007 14:14

Yay I did it, it only took me all morning . I should point out that i actually look smaller today than normal (baby must be lying different)

jellybeans · 12/01/2007 14:40
