Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
feedmenow · 14/01/2007 09:43

Hello everyone. Just thought I'd check in to let you know that I'm checking out. Went for a private scan yesterdy and could tell myself straight away that it wasn't right. Am 11 weeks but baby only measured at 8 weeks, plus obviously no heart beat. I think I knew in my heart of hearts cos we had the children with us but I asked them to scan me first without anyone else in the room incase anything was wrong. And it .was/is! So off to the EPU tomorrow a.m. to find out what needs to be done.
Anyway, ggod luck to all you lovely ladies. I will try and pop in from time to time to see how you are all getting on. xx

treacletart · 14/01/2007 11:30

So sorry feedmenow Keep strong.

pinkranger · 14/01/2007 11:40

Uki · 14/01/2007 11:52

Oh dear Feedmedow,
How terrible for you and family, I'm very sorry, I'm sure it was still a big shock. I had a similar missed m/c seems very unfair.

Love and hugs to you all

boobooma · 14/01/2007 12:48

Sorry to hear your news feedme, hope to hear some happier news from you in the not too distant future.

gardeninggirl · 14/01/2007 13:26

Catbabymummy · 14/01/2007 20:18

Feedmenow, so sorry hun. Best wishes to you and your family.

loler · 14/01/2007 20:20

I'm sorry too - Hope the next few days aren't too hard for you.

Catbabymummy · 15/01/2007 07:02

Hey everyone, hope you all are okay.

Feeling really crap atm. Since last night I have had tummy ache and lower back pain on and off and slightly headachy. Was also feeling lightheaded and going through hot and cold periods. Going to go into work, I might start feeling better, if not I'll go home...

lizziemun · 15/01/2007 07:55

Catbabymummy

yes feel crap, boobs like lead waits.

Wish i could have a nice cup of tea without the need be sick.

Have a good day at work. I am a sahm so i will have to keep myself busy to try and keep my mind of feeling sick all day

My main problem at the moment is that my FIL is building a cupboard understairs for dd toys all i can smell is the vanish, my DH thinks i'm mad because he can only smell it if he goes right up to door.

BabyMadwithBump · 15/01/2007 09:08

So sorry fedmenow, best wishes!

I've got my dating scan today, we have a 10 week dating scan here but I'm about 11 weeks, cant wait, DH coming too! Fingers crossed anything is fine and how it should be, I'll let you know how I get on!
Loulee Im hopeing to get an app soon, to see a top dog doc at my hospital regarding my over-active thyroid (very soon) my doctor did fax them my details and put on it urgent so hopeing any day now, the worrying thing is I've read up on it and I've read that if I have it then the baby will have it too , over active thryroid makes you feel so drained all the time, and very sick along with lots of another not very nice things, but I'm sure it'll be sorted out soon!
Babymadxx

Uki · 15/01/2007 09:26

Babymad- How are you? any news?

How is everyone else?
I'm a bit down about all the m/c, can imagine how they are feeling

Catbaby- i've also had a bit of lower back pain and stomach ache and get a mild headache everynight.

Surely someones m/s is getting better by now though?
Who'd gonna fess up and say they feel great?

pinkranger · 15/01/2007 10:18

hi everyone -
Good luck with the scan today babymad! lets us konw how you get on , 11 weeks should be able to see alot i think!

Uki - have you got anthore scan soon ?? - I have oe a week tomorrow and just want it to hurry up as it will be 10 weeks for me and thats how far i got to last time so it will be a milestone. - i konw what you mean abpout all m/c , im thinking of taking a break from MN until my scan at 14 weeks, all the bad news just makes me worry more!

Im also suffering from backach but also think its due to the fact that we got rid of our bed 2 weeks ago and awaiting new one to be delviered and have been sleeping on the matress on the floor - sure thats not helping!!

Still feel sick on and off , seems to be certain times of the day, - Feels like im hung over most of the time!

BabyMadwithBump · 15/01/2007 10:19

Not me! LOL! having a bad day, already been sick twice!

Scan is at 2pm but heading off soon as we want to nip to town first! Let you know how it ent when we get back!
babymadxx

GillL · 15/01/2007 10:19

Not me UKI. I still feel rubbish all the time. I constantly feel like I'm going to be sick and my head is always hurting. I have no energy to do anything.

It's not all doom and gloom though. I remember feeling great in the 2nd trimester of my first pg. It's great too cos as soon as you have a visible bump no one lets you carry bags or do anything strenuous!

Uki · 15/01/2007 10:44

wow you all don't sound to great then, Do any of you suffer motion sickness car, boat and the like, coz some resarch and myself think that m/s is to do with the brain and how easily off balance it can go, core centre of gravity or something.

Not to annoy you, but i can go on any ride, read in the car, last year I was on a boat on the great barrier reef for 2.5 hours (each way)that was rocking like no tomorrow I was drinking Bourbon and coke( for some strange reason) while everyone else couldn't lift their heads. Maybe 10 out of 50 were ok, and that was mainly crew. I don't mean to boast or anything, but i think it may have something to do with me not getting m/s.

I have a scan on friday, I hope the week goes quick

Uki · 15/01/2007 10:47

good luck baby mad, I'll be in bed by your scan time, but will be up to check your good news in the morning. 9:46pm here now.

Hersetta · 15/01/2007 11:01

Morning ladies,

I'm feeling fine - bit tired but that's all as I spent all weekend cleaning the house and I think I probably overdid it a bit.

Leaving the office in an hour to fly to chicago for 3 days so I'll have to put my feet up for the next 7 hours anyway.

Hope you all keep well whilst I am away and good luck to those with scans.

Catbabymummy · 15/01/2007 13:32

Hi Ladies,

Bad news I'm afraid, had cramps and back ache last night. This morning went to the loo at work, I was bleeding. Went to A&E they sent me to have a scan. My little bean doesn't have a heartbeat. I've had a missed miscarriage.
Best wishes for all your pregnancies, will see you around...

pinkranger · 15/01/2007 13:34

catbaby i am so sorry for you

Hope to see you around soon xx

pinkranger · 15/01/2007 13:36

I am also going to sign of for a while ladies, Nothing is wronge and all is well so far but the more but i log on the more sadness i read and it is making me worry and pick up on things. Even though i love mumsnet i just need to step away and try and get thorough the next few weeks.
Good Luck to you all and hopefully i will see you in a few weeks time xx

Babbit · 15/01/2007 13:52

To Feedmenow and Catbabymummy, I am so very sorry for your losses and wish you the very best for future pregnancies.

Catbabymummy · 15/01/2007 14:11

Pinkranger - I know exactly what you mean. I have to admit, I was kind of feeling that way to a couple of days ago.
Good luck to you, and thank you all for your best wishes. Sorry if TMI earlier.

All you pg ladies think happy thoughts!!! I'm determined to be positive and try again as soon as I'm able. Bless all your little beans

BabyMadwithBump · 15/01/2007 14:19
