Yeah its fab! Not too strenuous but you feel so relaxed and full of energy when you come out.

I'm 18 weeks this weekend and still have MS. Not as bad as it was but woke up at 4 the other morning for a wee and set it off badly. Got more sympathy from the dog than DP though.

peanuthead · 08/03/2007 16:26

Oh I'll definitely come along to that. Off on holiday for a bit now so I'll come when we get back - maybe stopped quease by then.

I used to see ladies doing aquaerobics and think it was really lightweight - now it sounds just right for me!

Mrsshuvel · 08/03/2007 16:28

Have a lovely holiday and i look forward to seeing you there.

Mrsshuvel · 08/03/2007 16:29

Forgot to add that its a good way of meeting people.

tokentotty · 08/03/2007 16:30

Have heard that 19 weeks can be a big turning point for those still being sick. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Hey Kite - have just CAT you Betty's number

Mrsshuvel · 08/03/2007 16:31

Fingers and toes crossed

peanuthead · 08/03/2007 16:31

NOOOOO! I didn't want to hear that! I'm at the point now where I can't actually imagine ever not feeling sick again.

Going to the inlaws for the weekend tomorrow and I really don't think MIL is going to understand my weird eating habits. She's very into cooking and I still can't stomach an eve meal although I can watch other people eat and cook now. I can't imagine popping into her pristine kitchen for another bit of toast at a weird time of day or eating ryvita while everyone else tucks into a delicious dinner she's spent 2 hours cookng.

tokentotty · 08/03/2007 16:34

You know what you need Peanut ?? Emergency food supplies.... I find them de rigeur when facing the unknown !!! Even DH will buy stuff for my bag 'just in case'. Emergency Jaffa Cakes are always a winner with me. Oh, but that was with hangovers. Wonder if hangover cures would have helped ms....?

Mrsshuvel · 08/03/2007 16:37

Try those wrist bands that you can get for travel sickness. They didn't work for me but have heard they can help. Ginger Beer was in my emergency bag - did wonders, although i've drunk so much of it now i think i'm immune.

peanuthead · 08/03/2007 16:58

those wrist bands just don't stay in place on me - they slide all over the place and don't stay on the right point. ginger is helping now a bit and emergency jaffa cakes sound like a good idea!

Its odd how it hangs on - it's like my bodies just got in the habit of it - all the worst bits, the smells and the not being able to be round food and the extreme exhaustion and violent vomiting are gone but this damned nausea and retching!

and there's no pattern - was not too abd the last 3 days but today is dreadful again.. humph.

peanuthead · 08/03/2007 17:00

my hangover cure was cheesy wotsits and I've done a fair few of those in the last few months too..

tokentotty · 08/03/2007 17:03

am almost too scared to mention this on MN but......

LoopyLouLisa · 08/03/2007 17:44

Hiya, thanks for all the support but turns out it was all a mistake as they calculated edd incorrectly meaning risk factor cannot be worked out yet. don't you love hospitals?! am very new to mumsnet and bit confused by the abbreviations at the mo dh/ds/dd??? ta x

Mrsshuvel · 08/03/2007 17:47

Hope everything works out, when will they be able to say?

Go to the acronym list above for translations.

kiteflying · 08/03/2007 17:57

Good luck LLL.

Token, I checked and it seems my profile was defaulted to block CAT messages. I have unblocked this, but no message from you, maybe cos you sent it when it was blocked.

lovelybird · 08/03/2007 20:06

Thanks for the tip TT, I'll go to Holland & Barratt at the weekend and stock up. V jealous about all the exotic holidays you're all going on. We got married in vegas and we loved it.
GillL - I'm the same, boobs huge (well for me anyway prob just normal for most people. DH very happy! (wink)

SweetyDarling · 08/03/2007 21:00

So Loopy, Do you have a new EDD?

conkertree · 09/03/2007 09:48

went to see some friends in a production of oklahoma last night - the baby definately enjoyed it - could feel it dancing around more than i have before. my friends thought it was showing a wee jazz hand on the scan picture too.

Uki · 09/03/2007 09:49

Morning all
So much to catch up on, I can't....naughty mnetter hangs head in shame.

So i'll give you some of my news for now. I have been feeling baby move quite a bit which is reasurring. Already getting loads of sex of baby type inquisitions, all the old wives tales- how sick have I been? etc,

Have been buying a few maternity clothes and even started looking at names last night, so hard !!! I like slightly unusual names, but with ds the name i chose ended up being quite popular that year, so he will probably be one of 10 in class.

tokentotty · 09/03/2007 09:56

Good morning all!

LLL - how are you feeling now ? Can't believe an error like that being made, is a bit strange isn't it ?
Kite, will CAT you again with Betty's details.
Lovelybird - I loved Vegas last time I was there too on my bizarre honeymoon. Seven long years ago.... Reckon loads will have changed in that time. As for the 'chest' comments - I was 36E by the time I was five weeks ! Was just having this conversation with someone at work after she told me to 'keep those things under control' ! Might be time to get measured again methinks.

Mrsshuvel · 09/03/2007 10:09

Morning Ladies

Oklahoma, fantastic. My baby seems to like the movement of the train in the mornings. Felt like it was having a rave in there this morning.

Booked holiday to Florida this morning to see my parents. My cousin is coming with me as DP wants to save all his holiday until the baby arrives. Can't wait! Going in April and gonna spend loads on baby stuff there. Well, as long as i can get it all home in my suitcase. Looking at travel insurance at the moment. I don't normally bother with it but the circumstances are a little different this time. My dad said someone they know has just had a baby there. Everything went fine and mother and baby were only in hospital for one night and it cost them $10,000!!!!!! So i think paying £45 for £10,000,000 of hospital cover is well worth it.

tokentotty · 09/03/2007 10:38

Feel bad but am so of everyone feeling their lo !!!!

Oh, but laughing at your lo doing jazz hands for the scan Conkertree

loler · 09/03/2007 11:36

Think it must be time for a new thread - my computer is begining to get headaches openning this one!!

We went to Vegas for our honeymoon too - just trying to remember how long ago it was - about eight years but feels much much longer! Did any of you got ot the peppermill - the romantic flaming pool is like something out of a 60s bond film. Never meet anyone else who's been - would love to go back!

Consultant visit went really well - got to go back at 38 weeks and if this one turns out big will be induced then. Got to go and have glucose tolerance test at 27 weeks, as ds was over 10lb there is the posibility of diabetes. Anyone else had one of these?

I am also hugely hormonal and not currently speaking to DH. Completely stressed about moving and ILs coming and crying loads - DH keeps saying you weren't like this before, this just makes me cry more! He's gone of for a jolly with his friends for the night - oh to be a man for a week!

loler · 09/03/2007 11:43

Just created a new thread here for the sake of my poor old windup computer!
