Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Catalepticdru · 10/01/2007 21:24

Paula, so sorry hunni xxx

TT no way could I justify the cost of a private scan. I think I'll wait.

OP posts:
lovelybird · 10/01/2007 21:32

Paula i'm so so sorry to hear your sad news. Sending you big hugs (hugs hugs)

I've still had some spotting, saw the MW today and have an early scan booked for Friday.

myweegirl · 11/01/2007 10:23

paula - very sorry to hear your news. take care

hormonalwreck · 11/01/2007 10:46

Poor U Paula - big hugs

I too am waking up tummy rumbling in the middle of the night. I just try to ignore it or drink water. I'm also not sleeping too well at the mo, not sure if it's the wild weather (DH still managed to snore his way thru)

Bresha - My 12 week scan is on 23rd aswell, can't wait!

feedmenow · 11/01/2007 11:02

Well, I have succumbed and am in the process of booking a private scan, hopefully for Sat afternoon.
Just rang dp and said "Honey....." and he said "I love you, you can have whatever you want". I thibnk he is feeling a bit guilty cos he's spent loads of time helping out a tosspot "friend" of his recently and left it to me to do all the shopping, cooking, housework, etc.
And as I've been typing, I have had confirmation of scan for Sat at 3pm.

tokentotty · 11/01/2007 11:32

That's lovely news feedmenow. Also, there's never anything wrong with guilting dps into giving you what you want

How are you feeling Hersetta ? Ready for your scan ?

loler · 11/01/2007 12:46

Paula- I can't think of anything clever to say either -

Hersetta · 11/01/2007 12:47

Ready as I'll ever be TT.

Will leave around 2pm as It's about 25 mins walk from my office. Dead nervous though - tummy's doing sommersaults.

Hersetta · 11/01/2007 13:07

My DH just sent me a text saying hope scan goes well and he loves me loads - see they can be sweet when they want.

loler · 11/01/2007 13:24

Good luck with the scan - I've been really rubbish and not even got around to calling the doctor yet. I know all they'll do is to get me to ring MW at 10 weeks. Can't seem to find a quiet minute to do it and don't want work to know yet!

tokentotty · 11/01/2007 13:26

Oh that's really lovely of your DH - perfect timing as I think you deffo needed a bit of moral support. Good for him . Try not to be too nervous ok and I can't wait to hear how wide your smile is afterwards.

One other thing...just been for hot wax torture and found it soooooo much more painful than usual. Something else to look forward to as my beautician said that it feeling worse was normal during pg. Oh joy.

Hersetta · 11/01/2007 13:39

Thanks all,

pff soon so will check in when I get back and hopefully have news that everything's OK.

tokentotty · 11/01/2007 13:44

TT CROSSING EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE

paulaplumpbottom · 11/01/2007 13:51

Thank you so much for your sweet thoughts and kind words. You have my prayers and good wishes for your pregnancys.

xxxxxxxxxx

Hersetta · 11/01/2007 15:34

Well I'm back!

Everything is fine. There is one baby, sitting where it should be, it's the right size for my pregnancy length and most importantly had a really clear heartbeat - 150bpm. I even got to hear it - had a bit of a blub at that stage.

Huge weight off I must admitt. Next scan in 5 weeks.

pinkranger · 11/01/2007 15:39

i am soooo pleased for you - congratulations xxxx

tokentotty · 11/01/2007 15:48

Oh H that is just the loveliest news. I'm so, so pleased for you. You must be feeling on top of the world.

So.....?? How wide's the smile ????

Hersetta · 11/01/2007 16:57

It is pretty wide - having to be quite restrained as I'm at work and only one person know so far.

What I really need is a glass of champers to celebrate - but I'll guess I'll make do with sparkling grape juice!

tokentotty · 11/01/2007 17:09

Well....I'm sure a little glass of something would be just fine to celebrate this special occasion. Besides, I'm sure DH will happily finish off the rest !

Loulee · 11/01/2007 19:36

That's great news! It's so lovely seeing the scan - can't believe 20 years ago you didn't have the luxury.
I phoned the hosp today - tired of waiting for my appointment date to come through the post - it's for the 6th feb, so not too long to wait I guess.
Still feeling rotten, but thankfully nowhere near as bad as some of yous.
Anyone else having cravings that just don't hit the spot when you eventually get hold of them? It was a greigs cheese and onion quiche yesterday that i had to make a long detour for when getting dd1 from nursery - it just wasn't as it should've been! coke and lucozade are ok, the only other one is apples - they work a treat, but have to be cut up else I can't eat them - how weird is that!

Catalepticdru · 11/01/2007 20:39

Hersetta, lovely news am stoked for you

lizziemun · 11/01/2007 20:50

hello

I have just found out today that i am 7weeks pg edd 30.08.07

A quick history

Me 37
dh 36
dd 3 on the 27/01/07
miscarriage june last year at about 10 weeks so we are being a bit cautious (sp)

Although i have to say i am having more bouts of morning sickness (evening)ever day.

mum2george · 11/01/2007 22:07

Hi I'm Ali and I'm due on the 9th Aug! V.excited/half worried to death. Have a dh and my ds was born in april 2004 at the North Staffs. Also had a miscarriage in Oct 2002 and one 12 months ago, almost exactly, hence feeing v.nervous. Had a scan at 7+2 this time and saw the heartbeat which was very reassuring and have my next scan booked for 22nd Jan.

Feeling absolutely crap with tiredness and being sick but am happy with that as this time last year was pregnant, felt great and things weren't as they should have been.

Ali

Morning all August ladies!

Huuby was facinated by my scan pics of Tad as he calls the baby (short for tadpole and T and D happens to be our initials in RL).

I'm still feeling fine - apart from having occasional cramps and having to go to the loo more often I would really know I was pregnant - i just know that as I am going away on business for 3 days on Monday that MS will kick in then and I'll be feeling crappy at my meetings next week.

Flying to Chicago on Monday, luckily in business class (hoping they'll upgrade me to first if I tell them I'm pregnant!)and once this trip is over with I have the worst 4 weeks of the year to look forward to 14 hour days plus 3 hours of communiting to look forward to. I am sure when I have my booking in appointment 2 days after all this maddness ends my blood pressure is going to be sky high.

Not looking forward to the next few weeks at all.
