34D up to E now and beginning to hate it. Doesnt help that its not just my aerolas that have gotten darker. Pretty much my entire boob surface looks like the polka dotted surface of the moon. As if it cant quite make up its mind as to which colour to be.

dolly does the lump move when you press it? Pretty sure mine has turned breech and he loves nothing more than sticking his head out a few inches above my navel. Feels pretty hard and round though it scares me that I'll bang his head against something when cooking ir something since its level with the kitchen counters.

Biking I've resorted to sports bras because underwire was killing me

Rose2806 · 05/04/2016 08:20

Have anyone's boobs not grown much? Mine were sore in the first trimester and I think they filled out a little, but since then nothing and I'm still in the same B cup!

Rose2806 · 05/04/2016 08:25

And jelly on the trains subject I did eventually find a seat, I would feel really bad asking someone to move but would if I had to!

jellybelly85 · 05/04/2016 08:32

Glad you got a seat rose - I agree it can feel awkward asking. I never single anyone out because you can't always see disabilities but have got into the swing of asking if I need it.

nehagarg my areolas are taking over too! I had big nips before, but now it's just silliness!

Always been in the big boob club - and I've gone up one cup size. Onto stretchy soft cups (double up as nursing bras too) as much comfier than wired and a bit more flexible with the unpredictable growth. Apparently when breastfeeding they can go up and down a couple of cup sizes in the same day. Learning so much about my body..!

mrsmugoo · 05/04/2016 09:20

Absolutely no idea what size my boobs are because I just wear a stretchy sleep bra from mothercare but they are bigger than pre-preg. I'm usually a 34b but at the peak of breastfeeding last time I was an E cup! My band size went through the roof too because my ribcage expanded so much!

bikingintherain · 05/04/2016 10:21

I hate non wired bras. My boobs just become one big smelly mass. (Normally 32F am now 36 HH and in bf good to a J!)

I know I have to wear them in the first few weeks so as not to get mastitis whilst they settle down with milk supply, but I will avoid them until then if I can. I'm hoping once breastfeeding is established I can go back to wired with a few sewing adjustments to my wired bras.

iamdivergent · 05/04/2016 10:26

I've just been wearing sports bras. But my knockers must be getting bigger because I've snapped the straps on two in the past week! Going to head to M&S in the next few days and actually get measured for maternity bras.

Eastend2015 · 05/04/2016 10:26

My nips are also plotting to take over the world Hmm and actually getting slightly sore again, I guess everything is just gearing up for D-day. Fun times!

nehagarg · 05/04/2016 10:39

Anyone else getting random shooting pains in one or both boobs? I get it once or twice a week in my right boob. Brand new preggers symptom thats started a couple of weeks ago. Can only assume its milk/colostrum coming in?

iamdivergent · 05/04/2016 10:48

Yep I get that nehagarg

Little man stopped me getting to sleep last night. We had a late dinner as DH had a work meeting so I think he was having an energy rush. He was rolling round and elbowing and kicking constantly. DH lay with his arm on my tummy for about 45mins and he moved pretty much the entire time.

sambababy · 05/04/2016 12:07

Same here rose, my boobs have filled out a bit but I'm in the same B bras. Only time I got big boobs last time was the day my milk came in, but then they were like veiny rocks so not cool at all. It's mainly my rib cage that expands and stretches all my bras.

Saw a lady at playgroup today whose bump didn't look that much bigger than mine (and I reckon I'm average size for 29 weeks) and she said she's due in 4 weeks! Shock I hate the constant bump comparisons but I'm totally guilty of it myself.

Eastend2015 · 05/04/2016 12:33

May be of interest re- bumps, measuring from top to bottom, on average you only get 10 cm bigger between 28 and 38 weeks, not straight outwards 10cm (as I originally assumed), the bump radius will only go out a couple of cm so really those nearing full term won't look much bigger than us. I hope that makes sense (and that I'm right or I'll be running out of clothes sharpish!!)

No idea what size my boobs are now! I've been wearing a stretchy non wired one since about 12 weeks! They are definitely bigger than my usual 32b though!

Had a growth scan this morning - little guy is an estimated 3lb 11 at the moment. Consultant really happy says if my bloodsugars and the little guy stay on this track they won't induce this time. Eeek! Not sure how I feel about spontaneous labour!

emma85x · 05/04/2016 14:12

I am so feeling the book issue too! I've gone from a 36G to a 40GG. I always go to bravissimo and they are fab. Can't recommend them enough. Ribcage must have expanded loads!! Oh and the weigh gain! Blush

JellyBaby26 · 05/04/2016 15:32

Eastend, I would love to be similar size to this on due date. If last time is anything to buy I have huge amounts to grow yet!

Eastend2015 · 05/04/2016 16:26

Jelly lol, clearly kidding myself then?!

laughingGnomette · 05/04/2016 18:26

I've had a few people say how 'very pregnant' I look today. Its like I exploded in size once I hit 30 weeks. I've got a bit of a waddle going on too!

Bra-wise I'm wearing my nursing bras from last time as they are nice and comfy. 34 GG I think - ridiculously huge, and my back hurts if I stand for more than 10 or so minutes. I'll get measured again at about 37 weeks.

strawberrypenguin · 05/04/2016 18:27

Sorry eastend I have to agree with jelly we've definitely got more growing left to do! I was bigger than I am now by the end and I only went to 38 weeks!

laughingGnomette · 05/04/2016 18:28

Ooh and I'm feeling very organised today, I sorted out all of DS's baby clothes and washed the ones for up to 3 months. It brought back a lot of memories. God, they are so cute! Grin

laughingGnomette · 05/04/2016 18:30

And yes, there is still plenty of growing to do! I think ladies look even bigger right at the end when their bump starts to drop.

mrsmugoo · 05/04/2016 18:34

I've had a few comments today about being bumptastic too - but I actually feel quite small really because my bump is nowhere near as high up in my ribs this time as it was last time.

In other news - I had my WC jab today. Dead arm!!

AmIseeingRight · 05/04/2016 18:36

MadrigalElectromotive · 05/04/2016 18:53

I'm feeling very bumpy as well - it really seems to have grown over the last week or two! People have been stopping me in the street to ask when I'm due etc, so I think I look further on than I am. Shock Confused

Has anyone started to think about hospital bags yet? Am now 32 weeks and last week the midwife said I should have it packed by 33. I don't think I'll be ready in time for that, but I am starting to think about it. Does anyone have any ideas of what should go in for a clueless first timer? Grin

ILovePies · 05/04/2016 19:25

Thanks for all you boobie mummas!
Not even thought about hospital bag! Pretty sure with DC1 it was already packed and in the car by now Grin
I'm 31 weeks and not had WC jab yet, should I have? I'm sure I had it with both mine but midwife hasn't mentioned it & now I'm starting to get worried!
