Is anyone having a huge increase in discharge (gross tmi I know! ) ?

I think some of my plug is coming away 😷

Had my 4d scan last night. It was awful! He had been so active on the drive there and once we arrived he went to sleep with his hand over his face and the once we got back in the car he went mad again. His heartbeat was 160 as well which has seems v high for his age. Yet another thing that has induced paranoia as dd hado and still has a v high heart rate!

Here he is though...shocking picture!

Aww looks like he's hiding jelly Smile very cute. Sorry the scan made you feel more anxious though.

mrsmugoo · 02/04/2016 11:31

Question - has anyone developed a linea negra yet?

I had a pretty dark one last time but I can't remember when I got it, and it took months to go away.

I read that you don't always get them and I was wondering if I will escape it this time or if its just too early?

strawberrypenguin · 02/04/2016 11:49

I was thinking about that the other day too mrsmugoo like you I had a dark one last time but nothing yet! Thought it was around now it developed...

Potkettleblack2 · 02/04/2016 11:52

Jelly I'm sorry that what should have been a lovely experience ended up causing more anxiety than anything else.
I too have loads of discharge-it's crazy!
I've no linea negra yet but didn't really get one last time either. My belly is looking quite fluffy though!
We've started potty training DS today-three accidents already and I wonder if we have made a mistake starting! Anyone have any advice?!

Spock27 · 02/04/2016 11:55

I've had mine since about 18 weeks! Had it before a discernible bump.

nehagarg sorry to hear about the itching, but it's great that it has been caught early and they're keeping an eye on it. Hope the tablets and cream work.

jelly that's a shame about the scan! Sounds like something mine would do - completely stubborn in the moment. I think 160 is fairly normal isn't it? There's a theory I think that a faster heartbeat is a girl, do you know what you're having?

sambababy · 02/04/2016 11:58

Aww jellybaby I think that picture is sweet!

Strawberry actually I don't know how far it would be, whether short flight or long drive, but I'm paranoid that it being a 2nd birth could happen faster than we expect (wishful thinking much?) and that he wouldn't have signal when I needed to contact him. He hasn't mentioned it today so I'll keep quiet and hope that's the end of it.

I think I have a very faint linea negra. Last time it was all the way up to my chest by the end.

ILovePies · 02/04/2016 12:06

I never got a linea negra the last two times, but this time I seem to be getting a very strong vein down my bump! It's also very fluffy lol.
potkettle how old is he? Is he telling you he needs to go before he has his accident's? Bless you its such a tough time. I've decided to put off officially potty training DD until baby is here as I don't want any regression, but she wants to copy DS!

sambababy · 02/04/2016 12:27

Fluffy belly here too! Blush

No experience with potty training although I've heard once they show strong signs of being ready it's a much quicker process. I'm holding off til the new baby is a few months old at least, but DD isn't quite 2 yet. She still denies she's done a poo even when she's cleared a room due to the smell.

Eastend2015 · 02/04/2016 12:35

Gosh nehagarg that must have been quite a sock, good they are monitoring it though!

Yes I have a linea negra, it's quite dark and I've had it since the bump started developing, maybe from about 16 weeks.

Eastend2015 · 02/04/2016 12:35

Shock not sock, lol!!

Also good luck to all those potty training!

nehagarg · 02/04/2016 12:48

Aww jellybaby ... Thats a cute picture. Sorry that the scan caused you anxiety though.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. Just come back from a morning at the hospital. They monitored baby, he's fine. And gave me some medication. Got to go back next week for repeat bloods and more monitoring. So far my ANT is normal and bile acjds are slightly high at 13 instead of 0-10 so hopefully they wont go up. If they do, they'll have to induce me at 37 weeks. Feeling better now that i understand whats going on.

I have a linea niegra. Had it since i was about 12 weeks.

Sat in the sun now with no plans to move in the near future! Grin

Pot we've started potty training too. First day TEN!!!!! Wees on floor but there have been improve bra since then though I'm still not convinced. Am also using pull ups when out as there would definitely definitely be accidents all over the place!

jellybelly85 · 02/04/2016 13:13

A&E is not where I hoped I would be spending my Sat. Out of hours GP thinks I have shingles and said go to maternity unit. Went to mayernity unit to be told abruptly by midwife that I can't be there as could infect other pregnant women. Spent about an hour calming down and trying to stop crying (am VERY emotionally sensitive atm) and now sitting in A&E waiting for someone to tell me if the 10 blistering spots that have appeared overnight are shingles or not. Extra sucky at the moment as DP is oversees, so I'm on my own. What are you up to today? Would love to hear any good news/stories.

I've had a linea negra since 3 months. And also experiencing an increase in female juices. Maybe it's a third trimester thing?

iamdivergent · 02/04/2016 13:18

Oh no jellybaby85 not good. Hope you are seen asap xx

iamdivergent · 02/04/2016 13:19

Got a bit peckish after lunch! Whoops

Spock27 · 02/04/2016 13:33

Oh jelly that sounds so stressful! Any friends or family nearby who can keep you company?

I'm still full of the cold but a lot better than I have been. Hopefully going to finish painting the nursery today. If I can get off the couch!

ILovePies · 02/04/2016 13:34

Oh no jellybelly I really hope you get seen as soon as Flowers

jellybelly85 · 02/04/2016 13:48

A&E nurse doesn't think it is shingles, but getting a consultant for second opinion and doing full assessment on me because I'm preggers. (TBH not convinced it's shingles either, but difficult to know when I'm not clinically trained and GP did assessment over the phone.) Hopefully I'll be home soon.

Unfortunately closest friends are also overseas at the moment (Easter hols, innit). I've calmed down a lot more now - nurse had good bedside manner. Looking forward to some lunch in the sunshine

dollydaydream84 · 02/04/2016 14:53

Jelly my babies heartbeat was 150-155 yesterday (28wks) which i thought was high but midwife said it was a good number and it sounded like a very happy baby. Hope that helps. Cute photo its like the bab is saying "oh no not another photoshoot!" with its little hand on its head.

Jellybelly our maternity unit didn't even take me back when I was 7 days postpartum with a uterus infection - had to go to A&E. I suspect part to do with politics of which department would pay for me (according to the registar I saw) and in your case only part due to potential-infection of others. Hope they let you home soon big hugs, I'm super emotional too so I would have cried!

mrsmugoo I didnt have a linea negra and no sign yet this time.

I feel like I'm really struggling to move and my bump keeps going tight, the babies become super wriggly and been a bit breathless, very tired all within the last week. I'm sure I'm anaemic, can't wait for these blood tests to come back! I also feel suddenly massive! Anyone else feel like they've gone from fine to struggling?!

MollieRos · 02/04/2016 15:00

Oh no jellybelly fingers crossed it's a false alarm. And a good bedside manner makes all the difference! Typical that it's happened when your OH is away.

nehagarg glad everything is ok with the baby and you have a plan of action.

I don't have a linea negra either, though I do have a very blue vein running down to my belly button just where my muscles have separated, and also a very fluffy belly!

I had my first uninvited stranger feeling my bump today. In a shop, a random lady was asking my opinion on some things she was buying- she was saying she's put a bit of weight on recently. Then she suddenly swooped in for a belly rub, saying I looked like I'd put on some weight of my own. Um, that's my belly thanks!

ILovePies · 02/04/2016 15:06

jellybelly hope yours home & relaxing in the sun now.
dolly you could be describing me right now. My bump is tight and aches, just feel completely drained! I thought my iron would be low but 28 week bloods said they were fine. Think it's just end of pregnancy tiredness!

JellyBaby26 · 02/04/2016 15:37

Hope everything is OK other jelly!

I've been directing dh doing the gardening today. Somewhat frustrating as I just want to do it myself! I have also made my first batch of Toblerone ice-cream and only lucked the paddle when it was done to check it was OK. Very impressed with myself!

Sainsbury also seem to have 50% off loads of stuff for those with a store nearby

jellybelly85 · 02/04/2016 16:16

Home! Doctors were unconvinced it was shingles, and unless symptoms progress there is no point in treating me. Which is fair enough. Sun has gone in now, and knackered from crying earlier in the day. Time for some lunch anyway... Thanks for your kind comments Smile

Snowflake16 · 02/04/2016 16:25

dolly I'm the same. Bloods have come back fine, but after having such a easy pregnancy so far l've been struggling so much the past 2 weeks. On weekends I'm so tired I keep having naps and I've never slept through the day before (even after a 25 hour flight from Australia with no sleep and getting back home at 8:30am) It's such a struggle to get off the sofa and my breathing is so heavy.
