I couldn't post on last thread so hope everyone finds this one!

Great pic annaB and what a lucky girl having four big brothers! I always wanted a big brother and not just because I imagined he'd have cute friends

AnnaR hope you're feeling better now. And glad everyone else seems to be doing ok. I turned 17 weeks a couple of days ago and so so so thankful that I'm eventually feeling much better! Absolutely wiped out by the end of the day but able to eat more now so I think energy will be back soon Smile

DH is off today, yay! Family coming for lunch and the sun is out...happy days

Thanks Mrs Ceee, I've pm'd you back. I'm impressed with those people starting to think about methods to help babies arrive. I have 4 weeks to go and would like to have 4 weeks of good sleep if poss before who knows what happens. I'm not totally prepared for the sleepless nights again although I've started waking up for an hour or two each night which is annoying. My mind clicks on and that's me for a bit. I just let things run through then I have weird dreams and figure i must have dropped off again - odd

Graciesmug04 · 17/08/2016 18:37

Hi sweet sesame, I saw you on the other mini sept page Smile

SweetSesame · 17/08/2016 22:18

Hi Gracie,

Yes I didn't realise there was already a thread for mummies expecting in September. How are you?

Graciesmug04 · 17/08/2016 23:25

Doing well, 4 weeks to go. Just eaten a lovely tub of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream without really thinking about it. It was superb and flake

Once it's good it's gone, probably won't buy more for a bit now and watching a dated but quite good 90's movie with Jeff bridges and Barbara Streisand on Netflix - should be thinking about going to sleep but want to cut out the 3 or 4 am self induced wake up.

Graciesmug04 · 17/08/2016 23:51

Once it's gone it's gone I mean - should proof read more

Graciesmug04 · 18/08/2016 00:11

On the pregnancy front I'm quite uncomfortable when walking. Lots of pressure down below and it sort of feels like the head will pop out. I know it won't but that's how it feels so I walk slow and steady which helps

SweetSesame · 18/08/2016 16:44

Watching Netflix to avoid the wake up is a good idea, I do the same but hate the tired feeling in the morning Sad

Speaking of Haagen Dazs I've just bought a tub of cookie & cream :-P and I cannot wait to indulge...

Where pressure is concerned I'm not experiencing that just yet but I'm dreading it as my SPD already has me walking slow and steady.
3 weeks to go Wine

Womenareliketeabags · 18/08/2016 18:08

Mmm..... Ice cream, I have a thing for Ben and Jerry's at the moment.

I've felt like absolute bab today, had the shits and upset stomach last night and this morning, I hurt everywhere well back, hips, ribs, groin, tummy and legs and I've been so so so tired. I went to grab the last few things I needed this morning and I've spent the afternoon lying about letting the TV parent for me

How is everyone else feeling?

Bobbycatz · 18/08/2016 20:49

Hey, does anyone else think they can feel the baby engaging. Some days I feel movement and all of a sudden the baby feels really low and in position, then a while later I'll feel another movement and the pressure will go and the baby won't feel as low.

Sharesinpampers · 19/08/2016 00:42

Congratulations Custard and great to hear Arabella is home! 5 babies, wow!

Looks like we're all in the same uncomfortable boat. I'm awake with heartburn and feeling roasting. BH getting more painful and some of the kicks I've had have made me wince! Body generally feels like it's falling apart but I remember that last time and eventually all went back to normal(ish). C section is this week though so not long to go.

Hi all,
I am very late to the party and have only just found this thread. Mostly because I have just started Mat leave and a 3 year old toddler has been keeping me on my toes.
I am due on 1st Sept and hoping mini messy stays put until then as I am a bit behind on getting ready and need some time to chill out a bit and make up for general lack of sleep over the past few months weeks.
Hope all is well. Good luck to everyone.

BellaGoth · 19/08/2016 08:30

Hello everybody! I'm on the list as LTBC, due 1st September - however DD had other ideas and arrived last week at 36+6. We had to spend a few days in hospital due to her being technically premature but she's starting to gain weight now and feeding well after a rocky start!

Congratulations to all who have had their lovely babies! I've not caught up with the thread yet but will do so soon.

Is there a post-natal thread yet?

Graciesmug04 · 19/08/2016 09:34

Oh my!! Congratulations bella and baby bella is just beautiful

Graciesmug04 · 19/08/2016 09:42

Hi little and welcome - hope you will get a week or two of rest before your baby arrives (very soon for you) very difficult with 3 yr olds around too

GeorgeBFC · 19/08/2016 16:28

How do I go about joining the Facebook group? I'm due 6th Sept, hi everyone!! :)

0hCrepe · 19/08/2016 18:13

Wow babies coming all the time! Bella how gorgeous!
I went for a trace last night as I felt I'd been waiting all day for mine to have a big moving session and she didn't, I'd just had a few faint kicks. Anyway all was fine, they were lovely about it and it was nice to listen to a strong heartbeat for half an hour.

balalalala · 19/08/2016 23:48

Congratulations Bella! Gorgeous!

I'm 38+1 now and feeling no different really to the last few weeks. Still only slightly engaged so not likely to be an imminent arrival! Just praying it isn't another 4 weeks!

BellaGoth · 20/08/2016 06:19

bala i was only 1/5 engaged the week before ( I think!). I had no warning at all, in fact I was packing my hospital bag between contractions (NOT recommended!). We only just made it to the hospital. You never know...

Bobbycatz · 20/08/2016 06:41

Congratulations Bella she's gorgeous!

balalalala · 20/08/2016 08:20

Fingers crossed then... I've never been good at being patient!

Bobbycatz · 22/08/2016 07:11

How is everybody? The last 2 days I've been getting pretty frequent braxton hicks and their a bit uncomfortable. I'm assuming this is normal is anyone else being kept awake by them?

BellaGoth · 22/08/2016 09:13

I had terrible braxton hicks! They turned in to full blown labour when I was 36+6 so just keep an eye. How far along are you?

Annarose2014 · 22/08/2016 09:32

My BH have stopped.

So I am starting to think I'm in for the long haul just like before.

Was talking yesterday to a friend who had gone at 36 weeks with both kids so said "I don't know what the last month is even like! Is it really crap?!" I was looking at her like Shock. Yes, yes it is! It's utter and complete crap!
But of course was massively jealous!

Tmi, but DH is being bloody amazing about the complete dearth of sexytimes in the last month. My mind is willing, but my body is all Are you having a laugh, love? You're in bits! Grin I told him yesterday that with regret, I think I'm done for a good while to come. He just shrugged and said what kind of man would he be if he was bothered?

0hCrepe · 22/08/2016 10:01

Not yet Anna, I'm hoping it might hurry things along (although I would rather she was born in September anyway and I'm not due till 17th). But I will be saying soon it won't happen for a while after the birth!
I've had the odd cramp my feeling but nothing else really and pretty sure she's not engaged.

Bobbycatz · 22/08/2016 13:39

Hi Bella im 35+3, i called the midwife beacuse i was getting a bit freaked out and she told me it was all normal and just keep an eye on it etc so feeling a bit calmer although im stilll getting them constantly.

Anna its off the cards for me, i think i might be tempted closer to 40wks if i get that far just to get things moving but tbh i think it will be much closer to 2017.. poor DH
