Reading this thread has been so helpful! I had my scan on Tuesday and we have a little wrigglebum who clearly enjoys kicking! It's all suddenly very real
You lot are the first I've told (besides my immediate line manager) as me and OH want to surprise our parents at the end of the month (it's his dad and my mum's birthdays) and feel they should know first.

Hello all. Great to hear the good scan updates coming thick and fast. Congratulations everybody with updates. Had ours today and have an EDD of 18 Oct. Now I just have to move cities and register with a new hospital!

Disney my MW messaged me on Tuesday to say she'd found someone to arrange it and that the HOM from a nearby trust should be in touch soon to arrange it. I booked on good Friday so it's actually only eight working days since I booked. I'm just impatient!

So now I've told everyone it's finally real and an panicking!!!

Also 2 people today told me they'd guessed already due to my "rounding" out I'm insulted I think

Figgy, I think people just make reasons up of why they "knew". I've had someone know because DD1 was talking about "baby brother" and "baby sister" when we saw her even though this was before we knew ourselves and DD1 had been doing this for over a year. Another person knew because DH happened to mention to her he was going surprise me with smoked salmon a week after we'd been to Scotland (and eaten lots of smoked salmon) because I love smoked salmon. I'm not sure what they thought this had to do with pregnancy as it was nothing to do with it and was just because DH is lovely and knows what I like.

Great scan here too! Baby on its head most of them time but they managed to get measurements. So relieved!
Fresh start I can definitely feel movement!

How many weeks are you msfireman?

How many DC do you already have?

I had an anterior placenta with DC3 so felt movement much later which is why I think it feels strange!

fresh I'm 14 weeks with #2 and I am definitely feeling movements though only occasionally :)

p.s. definitely in the second trimester today! Apparently 182 days to go til my due date, so probably 196 til I meet my little one! ;)

It's weird to feel things when's I've not even had a scan to confirm its all real!

Wouldn't be surprised if my dates are put forward slightly either as I feel massive!

I'm 14+6 with #2 and haven't felt any movement. I'm wondering if I have an anterior placenta again.

Good luck with scans today. I'm 13 weeks and not felt anything yet but I think ant placenta too as really struggle with Doppler too. Felt movements at 19/17 with other two.

Good luck with the scans today, I keep meaning to take time out every now and then to focus on the baby's movements and see if I can feel them.

I can definitely feel movement at nearly 14 weeks but I think I have been feeling movement for weeks

I'm 14+2 today and keep thinking I feel movements but most of the time it turns out to be gas!

I'm definitely feeling flutterings after I have a cold drink. I started feeling movement at 16 weeks with my first.

Screening results have come back as low risk

Any movements from me are definitely wind 😂

Now to catch up with the rest of the thread. Hope everyone is ok.

I still don't have any symptoms at all and have a fortnight until my 12 week scan. Has anybody else been the same and everything been ok? I can't help but worry.
