So pleased that everything was ok for you eggy!

pod100 · 06/04/2016 15:16

Ah that's excellent news eggy! So pleased all is ok for you! How much have your dates changed?

FuzzyOwl · 06/04/2016 15:18

Great news about BabyEggy! I have been checking all afternoon to see how your scan went. Don't worry about your dates though Eggy as they are often out early on and your 12 week scan should give you an official due date.

Fraggleface · 06/04/2016 15:26

Good news Eggy!

MsFiremanSam · 06/04/2016 15:29

Woohoo great news! What a relief eggy

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 06/04/2016 16:27

Hi all,

So glad to hear everything is okay eggy I never put much faith in EDD as its only a rough guide and they come when they want to. Bit freaked out by everyone planning their births already, I really have no idea. So far I've had an elcs, vbac and hbac. Every pregnancy has had a problem somewhere along the line. My hbac was the best experience ever but then my cord snapped and still ended up in hospital with a spinal and it was a bit horrific (mostly for my poor DH who thought I might die) he still says that the hbac was the best birth by far and he wasn't exactly for it at the time. He had to watch the whole thing from a chair in the corner as I can't stand people touching me when I'm in pain.

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 06/04/2016 16:31

Sorry went on a bit there.
Has anyone else had to get new bras yet, tried to put one on this morning and it felt so tight it made me retch, it feels way to early to start getting measured as I haven't grown much and I'm small anyway. Not that I am being thrifty tho as I have just booked a private scan for 16 weeks which I don't really need but currently working with a houseful of 6 kids this week so felt like I'd earnt it!

Afreshstartplease · 06/04/2016 16:41

I've gone up a cup size. 30dd to 30e

Hopefully don't grow anymore!

Take my hat off to you with six kids I have three and am exhausted! How old are they?

Gigglebert · 06/04/2016 16:52

havetobe I bought one new bra at 7 weeks and will need to go again soon for more! First pregnancy I went from a 34E to a 36GG! :( this time I started at 34E and was up a cup size to an F when I was last measured!

Desperate to not buy too many bras as I'm expecting growth to continue like last time but can't cope with uncomfy boobs!

pinkbuttons · 06/04/2016 18:34

Glad all went well eggy.

Positive scan news here too, dates put back a day so now due 6th October. Baby far too awkward and even after a walk and some sugary sweets we weren't able to get nuchal fold measurement done, so having to wait till 15 weeks for blood test now.

pinkbuttons · 06/04/2016 18:35

Oh and thank you for replies on children at home during home birth. It's the one thing that had worried me about it, interesting to hear of others experiences and planning :)

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 06/04/2016 18:35

Oh fresh they weren't all mine! 3 of them are my own 3 of them are children I childmind. Today I had two 6 yr olds, two 4 yr olds, a 2 yr old and an 8 month old.
Do miss having a Wine after a long day. We had an egg hunt in the house as it was too wet outside! Unfortunately it's doing this job that made me think I could cope with so many of my own, but mine never leave!

Think I should treat myself to a nice maternity bra (if there is such a thing).
Is it a bit early to buy anything else? I got rid of all my baby stuff after #3.

pod100 · 06/04/2016 18:43

Finally got my scan date through - 3 May!!! 😩 I'll be 14+4 then so think that makes me right on the borderline for the nuchal test. Can anyone tell me what the timings are for it and I'll call them tomorrow to see if I can bring appt forward.

Bikey86 · 06/04/2016 18:44

Good news eggy

Had my scan this morning. Due days pushed back three days so now due 15th.
Really nice to see baby and pleased that all is okay.
Starting with man flu now though and I feel like my headers going to to explode!

Bikey86 · 06/04/2016 18:44

*head is

goldenpineapple · 06/04/2016 18:48

Great news eggy, pink and Bikey!

pod how frustrating, that is such a long wait. I had it in mind that it was 14+1 or 2 for the nuchal, although I'm not sure.

dottydimples · 06/04/2016 18:55

So happy to hear all good news regarding scans today Smile still got 6 days until mine!

I've tried to work out how to message the lady about joining the Facebook group, but I can't find out how! But I would like to join if anyone can let me?

I've reached 12 weeks today and I'm so bloated. Our new sofa was delivered today so I'm spending the evening lounging on it and testing it out Grin

dottydimples · 06/04/2016 18:58

Tip for ladies with flu/colds: I had this all last week and it's only just going.

But what got me through it was:

• ginger tea, with honey and cloves
• tomato soup
• cherry menthol sweets
• hot shower

Hope you feel better soon!

Tomkat79 · 06/04/2016 18:59

Great news eggy!
14+1 is the cut off here for NT screening. After that date apparently any fluid can be absorbed so I'd maybe see about bringing the scan forward if you can pod they moved mine forward.

BadlyWrittenPoem · 06/04/2016 19:08

So glad to hear all seemed to be fine on the scan eggy.

That seems an awfully long time to wait pod. I hope you can get something sooner.

Bikey86 · 06/04/2016 19:26

Thanks dotty. Going to try all of those! Although I'm swopping the shower for a bath.

Afreshstartplease · 06/04/2016 19:35

I have bought two packs of sleep suits in the next sale but not taken them out the packet yet as don't want to jinx it!

Scan on Friday and I'll start buying more bits if all is well

Seen good bargins on nappies etc recently and thought should I? Once I've seen a baby on the screen I'll start.

I have been eyeing up prams, I like the look of mutsy evo but unsure about the handle height (I'm 5ft 1) some reviews say at the lower position you are quite far from baby
