Great news Havetobe and a lovely picture.

IrisPurple1 · 01/04/2016 16:24

Eggy I have my fingers crossed for you and hope this morning went well. I understand your concerns and those of everyone else who posted here about loss of symptoms, as that was how I lost my baby last year.

There are lots of stories on here of people who have lost symptoms and/bled and gone on to have a healthy baby. Also there are stories of people who have had no let up in symptoms but their scan showed an MMC. Anything could mean anything and everything is inconclusive until you get your 12 week scan.

Eggy it is good you are getting checked out today and will get answers quickly. Thinking of you Flowers

goldenpineapple · 01/04/2016 19:03

Congrats Havetobe - lovely scan pic!

Thinking of you Eggy really got everything crossed for good news for you.

Alwaysinahurrynow · 01/04/2016 19:14

Hope all's well eggy.

Just got my Harmony test result back (only taken last Thursday!) and it was low risk, so very excited as I'm considered relatively high risk on age grounds. quite want to jump up and down on the bed, but have a funny feeling DH wouldn't approve!

Afreshstartplease · 01/04/2016 19:59

Fingers crossed eggy

Congrats to everyone who has had a good scan!

Mine is next Friday morning, can't wait to know all is OK

Last night in bed I'm not sure if I felt a flutter of movement. I'm (we think) 11+6, fourth baby. What do you think?

I wouldn't be surprised if I was a bit further on TBH, I have a bump and think I can feel my uterus midway between pubic bone and belly button. But this could be due to being number 4!

BadlyWrittenPoem · 01/04/2016 20:31

Fresh, I felt my others at 19, 15, 17 & 14 weeks respectively so I think about 12 weeks is feasible. (I think #3 was later than #2 due to anterior placenta.)

MyBreadIsEggy · 01/04/2016 20:38

Didn't receive a phonecall from the early pregnancy unit today, so I guess I won't hear from them until Monday Hmm a lovely weekend of worry ahead....and I have to go to a wedding reception that I really really do not want to go to tomorrow Sad

Afreshstartplease · 01/04/2016 20:44

Oh no eggy how awful to leave you waiting

Perhaps phone them in the morning, or could you go private?

Afreshstartplease · 01/04/2016 20:46

Badly, I think I felt mine about 18, 15, 18 weeks so far. DC three here also had anterior placenta! Will see if it happens again Tonight

FuzzyOwl · 01/04/2016 20:48

Oh Eggy how awful of them. I hope you get loads of symptoms back over the weekend to help put your mind at rest and the wedding isn't as bad as you think.

BadlyWrittenPoem · 01/04/2016 21:04

Oh eggy that's terrible! I once had to wait from Friday to Monday for a scan (I'd turned up Friday lunchtime but they were so slow that it was evening by the time they started thinking about a scan) but I had at least been given a scan appointment.

Tomkat79 · 01/04/2016 21:23

eggy that's crap. I work in an epau and we're open over the weekend. Might be worth a call to them tomorrow. We usually only take new patient referrals from the Mw or GP, surprised they didn't arrange it for you Flowers

Figgygal · 01/04/2016 21:36

Hi all

One little figgy growing well brought me forward 3 days so due date now 4th October which means I'm going to take a year off and see ds through reception year which will be great.

Little blighter was sat up and lieing face down in scan ended up having to wiggle from side to side Jump around walk and then pee to get it in right position. Nuchal was good waiting for blood results then will tell people other than parents. Going to wait to tell ds as long as we can as it's such a long time for him to wait.

Eggy hope you ok now.

evs34 · 01/04/2016 21:39

Eggy that is horrid. You are going to have a very slow and horrendous weekend. We are all here to help you through it though. I would try ringing your epau though as a bit of pestering won't hurt. Rest up as much as you can and watch lots of films. Xxxx

evs34 · 01/04/2016 21:44

Figgy and havetobe well done on scans

evs34 · 01/04/2016 21:44

Always- yey to low risk harmony.

TheCake · 02/04/2016 06:58

Thinking of you Eggy Flowers Hope you can get a scan asap

More brilliant scan pictures as well, they are coming in thick and fast now!

Just had a letter to say that I need to go for an anti-D injection, so I am guessing this means I am rhesus negative - I does not say on the letter (but I've googled it obviously). What did we do in the days before the Internet?!

Bikey86 · 02/04/2016 07:43

Hello all,

Been lurking for a while but not posting.
Lovely to see all the scan pics...and looking forward to our scan on Wednesday.

Sorry to hear about those that are experiencing difficulties/loss of symptoms.Flowers

Quick question for those expected baby number 2. Have you found the stretching pain is worse this time. Im 11+5 and the past few days I have been cramping and stretching a lot. It's worse at the end of the day. But I have noticed I seem to have popped out a bit -I just look fat- so maybe it's all okay. Smile

goldenpineapple · 02/04/2016 07:49

Can't believe that Eggy - hope you are OK and managed to get some sleep.

Congrats Figgy lovely scan pic! And Always great news too on harmony results.

Welcome Bikey! I'm 11+5 too, but this is my first so can't help on your question - lots of ladies here who probably can though! i have had mild cramping the last few days though.

SimileMilly · 02/04/2016 08:07

I would definitely chase it up eggy. Would it be feasible for you to arrange a private scan to put your mind at rest.

No 2 here bikey and the stretching is definitely so much worse than with DD.

mpeg123 · 02/04/2016 08:15

Hi all! Can I join in?

Had my dating scan Thursday EDD 12/10/16.

Lovely little wriggly baby who I'm convinced is a boy Smile.

Awaiting blood results x

IrisPurple1 · 02/04/2016 08:27

Oh no Eggy that's terrible, how horrible for you. I can't believe they never got back to you. Did they give you any advice when you first spoke to them?

My bleed happened on a Friday so I've been through that weekend wait too, but at least I was given an appointment there and then for the Monday. Perhaps the wedding reception will help take your mind off things? How come you are not looking forward to it? I found it easier to carry on with all my plans that weekend rather than sit at home worrying, but everyone's different.

It might be worth ringing the labour ward to see if they could book the EPAU appointment for you?

I'll be thinking of you Flowers

Figgy congrats on the scan, I'm glad that your mat leave plans have now fallen into place Smile

Welcome mpeg Smile

BadlyWrittenPoem · 02/04/2016 08:42

Welcome mpeg and bikey. :)

I've never had stretching pain with any of mine so can't help you with that.

Afreshstartplease · 02/04/2016 09:03

Welcome new people!

Baby 4 here, don't remember any stretching with 1+2 but had some last time and do think it's worse this time!

Gigglebert · 02/04/2016 09:19

eggy sorry to hear that they didn't get back to you, where I am you get through to them by calling the hospitals gynae ward which is open all weekend, they can see you if they deem it an emergency. Hope you get something sorted x
