I thought I'd start a new thread now we'be reached 1,000 posts on the last one!

Eggy I'm mainly lurking due to HG flattening me - fingers crossed that you get the meds, they are keeping me almost functioning as long as I remain lying down 😳 Vomming water is horrible, esp when you know it could lead to deyhydration.

Did you get some magic pills from the nurse Eggy?

I had to more or less argue with the nurse to get the magic pills! She said ketones were present in my urine (an indicator of HG) but the levels weren't substantial, so she didn't want to give me anything!! I said that surely the fact that I can't drink anything without puking it back up is reason enough?!
Eventually she prescribed me some, but only one pack and not on repeat prescription. So when I run out, I will try to make an app with the dr who prescribed them to me during my last pregnancy!

I'm 11w3d today and have just thrown up for the first time all pregnancy. I'm trying to decide if morning sickness is back and worse than before or if I've got a bug. I felt nauseous from 6 to 10 weeks but never came close to actually being sick.

Hi everyone! Sorry been away for a while, been worrying about the pregnancy so not been on as shut myself off for a bit.
Been for my scan today, all ok, good heartbeat, 12 weeks, due date now 28 September.
Feel so relieved! Happy to be back on this thread! Hope everyone's ok

I hope Giggle is okay, I'm sure we aren't her first priority but her silence is concerning... I keep coming on to see if she has posted.

It's hard to tell Fish I know there is a bug doing the rounds up here but it could also be a flare up of morning sickness, time will tell! Fingers crossed that's it done with though.

Giggle is ok ( I hope I've got the right person) is ok. Posted on fb. They're not sure what the pains were. Il let her fill you in.

Hey, thanks for the concern disney, I'm fine, had a scan and everything looked fab, they did a urine test and an internal exam but couldn't find a reason for the pain. I've to take it easy for a couple of days but they were happy it isn't sinister!

I had a dating scan last night ahead of booking the Harmony blood test. I've never had a scan so early (10w2d) so it was amazing to see the arm and leg buds moving around and I can't believe that in 2 weeks, there will be hands and feet to see as well.

In bed.....feel like shit.......tired.......nauseous.......bloated......

So so tired!!!

Don't think I had too many toilet trips last night and had an extra half hour in bed this morning so not feeling too bad so far

Was heaving but have beat it with a biscuit and some tea

Three weeks tomorrow until my scan

Morning everyone
I took one of my magic pills before bed at 9pm, and didn't feel sick all night. Kept some Lucozade by the bed which I sipped before getting up this morning, ate a piece of toast when I came downstairs and I don't feel sick yet!! There is hope for today!!

Had another terrible night's sleep, seem to wake up really early for no reason.

Have a really sore hip and leg the past few days, think it might be the beginning of spd seems a bit early. 10+4 so scan is two weeks tomorrow.

Havetobe I started spd about 16 weeks with DC 3 and my midwife has already told me to keep an eye out

So far I think I may have sciatica as my back has been awful and I've now had cramp in my arse for days

Fingers crossed for a better day then eggy! Bad day here for nausea yesterday, but have had a few rubbish nights sleep which I'm sure makes it worse.

I had back pain and sciatica very early on with dd, from 5weeks. I remember being unable to sit down properly on our honeymoon, which made lounging in the sun difficult

Finally got a scan date - 4th April so 2 weeks Monday. Long awaited!

You ladies who get spd are hard as nails! Can't imagine how painful it is my friend got it when she was pregnant with her DS, ended up on crutches and unable to walk up the stairs!!

I really hope by some kind of magic I don't get it again

I'll happily keep my arse cramp if I don't get spd!

All this talk of arse cramp...my left butt cheek was cramping and occasionally quite painful yesterday and had the same a few days ago but it went away after a day. I wasnt sure if it was just from squatting too vigorously the previous day whilst working out, is this a recognised pregnancy thing though?

I'm glad people are feeling less sick and that your pills are working eggy. I guess I've been quite lucky (I'm hoping its that and not that something is wrong!) as I've not had much in the way of nausea unless I don't eat when I start to get hungry (which is most off the time!!). The lack of symptoms are a little concerning though, can't wait for my scan! I'm 10+5 today, finally got my scan date through yesterday for the 30th of March, just under 2 looooong weeks to wait!

I'm removing myself from the list as my EDD has been pushed back to 24 September..... Of course I'll join your postnatal group if the new baby decides to stay put beyond a week

Bluesky I had that last pregnancy and it has already started this one too. It feels very much like sciatica but I am certain it is a pregnancy thing as it is too coincidental otherwise.

There is a horrid bug doing the rounds fish as it wiped me out for a few days. Hope you are feeling better now.

Hope your doctor puts them on repeat for you Eggy.

Great news Melon and Always.

Feeling really teary today. Woken up with headache, a stinking cold and when I went to the loo there was pink when I wiped which hasn't happened before. I have a lot of cramping and painful pressure, but have had this for a week. I've got a really busy day looking after 4 children and all I want to do is rest. I know it's fairly common to have some spotting so I suppose it's just going to be a day when I feel anxious.

Think I got spd at about 12weeks last time (thought I was 8 wks but was a month further on at the scan). It didn't last the whole pregnancy but not sure when it went, used a bump support most of the way through and a support pillow for sleeping which helped. I suspect I have worse to come, last time I noticed one day when I was checking out my piles (sorry tmi) in the mirror that I had massive varicose veins all down one leg. It seemed to radiate out from the piles across one butt check down my thigh and to the back of my knee, all big lumpy purple veins and lots of red spider veins. It was like one leg had aged 30 yrs overnight!
It did thankfully disappear after the birth but I did vow never to put my body through this again. Not sure how I forgot all this really?

Sorry you're having such a rubbish day clank probably best to keep busy but try to take it easy if you can.
I haven't been able to enjoy any of this pg yet, hoping the scan will make me feel more positive.

Yay! for not feeling sick so far Eggy make the most of it and eat as much as you can!

Ok, quite annoyed now. I've just had what was supposed to be my booking in appointment but it turns out it wasn't! Took a half day holiday from work for it too and now have to go back again in 2 weeks (I know I don't need to use hol but don't want my boss to know until I've had my 12 week scan if poss).

They checked my height, weight, BP and made me blow into a carbon monoxide checker, told me about the food I can't eat (which the doctor did when I saw them after bfp), didn't ask any health questions and gave me a load of papers to take home and fill in myself. Have to bring those back with urine sample in a fortnight. No bloods until my scan which they say my local hospital prefers to do between 12-14 weeks, plus they pushed my EDD back by 5 days to 30 Oct. I was in and out in 20 mins. Apparently the next appt will be about 45 mins.
