Hi. I have been lurking on the board, but plucked up the courage to post. I'm due on 14 Oct, have a DD already and had miscarried late 2014.x

DisneyDiva87 · 15/03/2016 09:10

banana I am so sorry Flowers I'm devastated for you, I can't imagine how difficult it must be.

FuzzyOwl · 15/03/2016 09:12

Congratulations and welcome Baby

Glad you were able to have the erpc so quickly banana. I found that physically recovering from mine was swift, but emotionally it takes a long time. Flowers

DisneyDiva87 · 15/03/2016 09:28

I've got my booking in appointment this morning. I always think of myself as an unanxious person but really I don't get anxious until just before the event! I hope my midwife is lovely.

I've had such a lovely morning in the house, DH took DD to nursery and I went back to bed for half an hour and now I am eating wotsits and chocolate working from home.

FuzzyOwl · 15/03/2016 09:29

Sounds like a great morning Disney and I hope your appointment goes well.

goldenpineapple · 15/03/2016 10:23

Oh banana so so so sorry to hear your news. Flowers Hope you have the best recovery possible and lots of love and support in real life too. Take care.

Fx for a lovely midwife for you Disney - mine is next Monday and hoping for a lovely one too! I'm really excited about my appointment as its my first, its taking so long to get here!

Welcome Baby

Hope everyone is well today - actually feeling a bit more human here - think the sunshine is definitely helping!

ditsygal · 15/03/2016 11:55

So so sorry banana . Look after yourself. x

MyBreadIsEggy · 15/03/2016 12:06

Sorry for your awful news banana
Flowers

I thought I had escaped morning sickness this time round...8+1 today and it's hit me like a dump truck Confused

Planeteer · 15/03/2016 12:23

Banana I'm so sorry, I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Take some time and really look after yourself. Thinking of you! ThanksThanks

Figgygal · 15/03/2016 16:15

Checking in 10+5 today nothing happening......2 weeks until scan still Angry

fish88 · 15/03/2016 16:58

Finally got my scan date. I'm in 24th March when I will be 12w3d. I've had to book it off work so told management today. Planning on telling others at work tomorrow as rumours fly so quickly in our place! Would prefer to tell people myself.

climbingcheesecake · 15/03/2016 18:29

Banana I am so sorry to hear your news. I know you have been on such a difficult journey already to get here so I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Flowers

pod100 · 15/03/2016 19:34

Ah no mybreadiseggy! Not good! I have been ok so far too but will be 8+1 tomorrow so you've scared me now Grin

Have my booking in appointment on Thursday and early scan booked for Friday so it looks like this is a week when I'll actually have something happening, rather than just feeling a bit zapped of energy.

Anyone else had any lightheadedness? I've had a little bit of it every day since Thursday now. Wondering if my blood pressure is playing up but will get it checked when I see midwife X

MyBreadIsEggy · 15/03/2016 20:13

I get lightheaded every time I stand up - but my blood pressure was on its arse when I was pregnant with DD, so I'm assuming it's the same detail this time Sad

FuzzyOwl · 15/03/2016 20:33

I keep getting lightheaded as well but I generally have low blood pressure so not unduly worried at the moment.

dottydimples · 15/03/2016 22:08

No words will help Banana, I hope you're okay and look after yourself.

I phoned my ante-natal department at the hospital here and told them about my scan date and the EDD the midwife had given me and me being about 17 weeks by the time my scan was due to happen so they squeezed me in today - still an embryo, I'm about 8+6 according to the measurements and saw a little heartbeat. I have to go back in 4 weeks for proper 12 week scan.

Tomorrow I have a glucose test as both parents have diabetes. Not looking forward to that!

MyBreadIsEggy · 16/03/2016 06:43

Woke up this morning feeling like death. was puking up all through the night, then woke up this morning feeling like the slightest movement will send me chundering everywhere Sad I think a trip to the doc may be in order....even water made me spew this morning!

BigPigLittlePig · 16/03/2016 08:10

Oh no eggy - do you think it's a bug? Or really bad morning sickness?

Glad your scan wenr ok, dotty - and just the one heartbeat!

Am going to ring the mw today as still no scan date, and am having to fob people off with easter plans. Tired today, but dh kept me awake snoring and dd had nightmares. Pass me the Brew

MyBreadIsEggy · 16/03/2016 08:23

Pretty sure it's morning sickness.
Felt a bit nauseous the last few days, but eating every few hours seemed to combat it. This morning I've been sipping water and it's been coming straight back up! I've got an appointment with the nurse practitioner at 10, so hopefully she will be able to give me something to help. Don't fancy a repeat of my last pregnancy - being hospitalised 4 times!

Gigglebert · 16/03/2016 08:41

I've been up since 11:30 (thankfully went to bed at 7!) with severe abdominal cramps... Called midwives who got me to call gynae at local hospital and I have a scan at 11 to check everything is ok.. I'm absolutely exhausted and very hormotional, just need to keep positive!

DisneyDiva87 · 16/03/2016 08:51

I hope everything is okay Giggle big hugs and hand holding, only 2 hours to your scan Flowers

That sounds horrendous Eggy I hope the nurse can do something for you to save you having to go to hospital

My midwife was off sick so I saw someone else who was filling in for her, she was lovely so fingers crossed my midwife will be too when she comes back.

MyBreadIsEggy · 16/03/2016 09:04

Hope everything is ok Giggle Flowers

Disney last time I was prescribed these magic little pills that, as long as I took them on time, made the sickness and nausea almost disappear! I'm hoping the nurse will give me something similar this time! I've just attempted a nibble of a digestive biscuit.....worst idea ever Confused

Tomkat79 · 16/03/2016 09:27

Hope all is well giggle

DisneyDiva87 · 16/03/2016 09:43

Sounds pretty grim Eggy, poor you.

ditsygal · 16/03/2016 10:36

Giggle I hope everything is ok. If it helps at all, I had severe cramps in my last pregnancy in the middle of the night at 19 weeks. A trip to a&e confirmed everything was fine, but it was scary. So hope its the same for you and everything is ok.
