Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

I have got a moderate left sided pain that actually feels as if it is in my side rather than the left side of me, if that makes sense. It is quite a long pain, so goes from around my boobs to my hip. Is this normal? It is quite ouchy!

5hell · 22/03/2016 20:39

If there was any justice or correlation with muffin consumption I'd have gd! Blush

Awaiting the start of the new series of OBEM, and having LOTS of BHConfused

Ohwoolballs · 22/03/2016 21:13

corgi trapped wind that turned into fog horn farts and constipation stuck with me the whole first trimester - much to DPs delight I'm sure 😬 Most def an early symptom "win".

5hell oh man! I've stuck it on to record while DP watches something sciencey on BBC4 that completely goes over my head. Can't wait to watch tomorrow though, it's cringey watching the old ones set in Leeds.
We aren't all like that!

Peenut · 22/03/2016 22:27

Have I missed OBEM? Oh joy! I new series!

Don't worry about lack of nausea Corgi. I felt pretty normal apart from sore boobs then gradually I started to get this weird feeling of hunger mixed with burpiness mixed with feeling like I'd pass out/be sick unless I ate something which began to escalate slowly around 8 weeks. I wasn't actually sick though. I know other people that have felt very normal in the first trimester with no nausea.

KateI remember somebody on here describing the perils of swamp foof, was it Carrot? I now understand only too well that if I leave the house without my always dailies I'll regret it and maybe leave a soggy patch where I was sitting

I too have seen x3midwives ... Who knows who I'll meet next week. Hope it was the firm but knowledgable one, not the one who got my name wrong and thought I was ten weeks further along than I am.

I had baklava this eve at Turkish restaurant Wool, it was yum!

Hope tests are explained to you a bit better tomorrow Lil and that they go well.

Eurgh, poor you Mermaid with the PGP. I've been told pelvic floor exercises and pelvic tilts good to do in stopping it getting worse. I've found wearing my converse is fine - any even small heel, like a pair of wellies heel, kicks it off.

Naughty feathered foetus! Good you went in to be on the safe side though.

CountryGal4 · 23/03/2016 00:41

Mermaid get the me to refer you to physio immediately. Consultant is stupid and should have said if you start treatment for it now it can stops it escalating to the stage you can't bare walking! For now sleep with pillows between your knees

Canters15 · 23/03/2016 07:41

Viroids, I need a pregnancy hooyah! Boobs barely hurt at all last night and when I first woke up this morning. So poas to check I was still pregnant (!!!) and got a lovely dark line sucking dye out of the control. Went back to sleep and woke up again and my boobs hurt again!! Can someone slap me and remind me that fluctuating first trimester symptoms are OK? Out of interest how long does the boob lain generally last?

Corgi I am blocked up like a pipe that needs dynorod. Def the high progesterone!

Lovely birth story sky!

5hell · 23/03/2016 07:43

sorry you're suffering mer :( agree with country that consultant doesn't sound v helpful, I'm sure there's something more than paracetamol that can help you!!! Do you feel that because you're having twins, there's a bit of a "well, what do you expect?" attitude?

kate I've seen 4 different mws now; although here they intend for you to have the same one throughout, I guess things change, people have holiday etc etc...however i've also heard that it varies massively by region, so who knows?! hope you get a nice one next time :)
ps: you're not on the stats list!

weird pains (as long as it's not too painful) are v normal fuzzy as uterus, blood flow, hormones etc change. But if you're worried give mw a text/call.

after yesterdays carb/hot cross bun fest did i omit to mention the sausage roll and bread pudding? am starting better today with granola and a home-made smoothy, and body pump at 10am :)

FuzzyOwl · 23/03/2016 08:44

Hooyah Canters. Symptoms definitely do Coke and go and sometimes ease off for a few days before returning with a vengeance.

Thanks 5hell. This is my third pregnancy and I have never had this pain before. Although this morning my whole stomach feels sore, bruised and tender. I wonder whether it is more to do with all the constipation and diarrhoea I keep suffering rather than the baby. I haven't seen my midwife yet, as that will be next week so hopefully things will improve.

KateBeckett · 23/03/2016 08:46

Yeah, I was told at my first appointment is see the same person, but she was on hold for my second. No idea where she was yesterday! I am on the stats 5hell ! I'm number 11 now! Shock

Ouch mer that sounds horrid. Hope you can get someone to take it seriously soon! Must be hard work lugging two of them around...

canters hooyah! I was a wreck until my 12 week scan though... So a slightly hypercritical hooyah. Flowers

TriJo · 23/03/2016 09:13

Day 283 in the Big Brother house... Hmm

It's barely 9am and I've already had SIX "Any news?!?" texts. Feck off lads, lazy baby is lazy and wriggling away here a bit too comfortably. DH seems to be convinced that baby is going to hang on until the end of the month, which is a bit annoying!

Went swimming last night, a bit more gassed than usual so stopped after around 900m but still enjoyed it, but no movement at all.

5hell · 23/03/2016 09:21

oops, sorry kate! ...i blame spreadsheet blindness, probably brought on by the fact that I'm second on the list Shock

dont pop too soon tri ...i'm not sure I'm going to cope being top of the list!
but seriously, i hope you're wait is over soon (if you're feeling ready)

FuzzyOwl · 23/03/2016 09:23

How are you feeling now Kate?

I had a conversation with loads of people about how I was going to end up being two weeks overdue and how my bump hadn't dropped at all before giving birth the following day Tri, so don't despair.

fruitlovingmonkey · 23/03/2016 09:54

Trying to catch up...
Glad Featherfoetus was fine, it is a scary thing to go through but you did the right thing going in to be monitored.
Lil I'm wondering why the rest of us had to go through the GTT if they can get the same results from a simple blood test? Definitely ask questions, it doesn't sound quite right.
Canters I had very little boob pain this pg. Mini hooyah and try not to worry.
How annoying Tri! Pretend you've had it and send them a pic of a potato with a face drawn on?
I bought pg leggings yesterday. I generally have a hatred of leggings (apart from for yoga) and was so terrified of looking like a fatty in too- tight jersey that I bought large and now have a fabulous Nora Batty look going on in the legs. I'm judging myself, even if no one else is.

YogaPants · 23/03/2016 10:27

Fuzzy I had quite painful trapped wind in my first trimester. It was always off on the the side and would move around depending on how I was positioned until resolving itself in the natural way. However, if you are in a lot of constant pain or concerned about where it is, I'd recommend having it checked out.

Hooyah Canters. Symptoms can come and go. I think my breast pain lasted into early second trimester around 16-20 weeks, but I would sometimes poke myself once or twice a day to reconfirm I was still pregnant.

Poor Tri. It sounds like your baby is very comfortable where he is at the moment and you might be in for a wait but there really is no telling.

Kate I've also had different midwives/doctors at each appointment. The only one I saw twice was the consultant at the hospital who gave me impression that protocol demanded he look at me but he would prefer that I be sent back to the midwives for care and leave him to more critical cases.

KateBeckett · 23/03/2016 10:34

Grin don't worry 5hell I'm sure by the time I get to second in the stats I will be a gibbering wreck! 11th is scary enough!

fuzzy ok thank you. Relieved to not have to deal with work for a while, but going a bit stir crazy too. It's making me panic a little about maternity leave but of course I'll have a tiny distraction by then!

yoga that's a bit rude of him! If you needed to see the consultant, you needed to see him!

Dp has started listening to a podcast called 'beardy dads' which he is quite enjoying (I assume due to the outbursts of occasional laughter). It's nice because he seems a bit more interested in stuff too now- told me we need to get an oval changing mat because it's easier to clean crap off than one with corners! Ha!

Aww cmon baby tri ! You can't stay in there forever!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/03/2016 11:49

tri send them this.

We've got newbies to cheer us on, the February Warm-Up is complete, after waiting nine long months it's only bloody time for March Madness! Welcome to JS thread no. 46!
Ohwoolballs · 23/03/2016 12:05

Oh sky I flipping love that pic. I'm nicking it and sending it to folks now. 😬

I've forgotten who needs the trapped wind advice, probably more than one of you in the first trimester.
I remember on the March thread someone suggesting to "crawl" off the bed. Carefully, kneel on the bed and put your hands on the floor, let rip. Instant relief!

Mermaid36 · 23/03/2016 15:07

I have contacted the midwife team and have got an appointment to see the physio! Yay! The midwife said that the consultant won't care about the PGP if it's not affecting the actual pregnancy, hence the non-interest from her...

FuzzyOwl · 23/03/2016 15:41

I really don't think this is trapped wind and I have had a constant pain all day in my stomach. I am somewhere around eight weeks. I have a really bad feeling about it now, especially since my nausea and everything else has gone. The only one time I have had a constant stomach pain before was when I had a mmc but I did have loads of diarrhoea yesterday - could that really have hurt my stomach this much to still be sore today? Sad

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/03/2016 18:07

fuzzy have you ever had sciatica before? Could it be that? Try not to think the worst. Can you see your GP tomorrow?

Excellent tip about the crawling off the bed!

lildottie · 23/03/2016 20:19

Evening all

Canter's I am 28weeks and still haven't really had sore boobs. When they were sore I think it was because I kept prodding them to see if they were sore! It is a special kind of mental hell in the first tho!

fuzzy agree try not to think the worst but call GP/mw and speak to them about it if you're worried. I know you've been pg before and I haven't exactly so can't really talk but they say every pg is different, even in the same woman.

mer glad you got physio appt booked. Hope you don't have to wait too long.

tri you must have a very comfy womble! Just delete the texts! Idiots! Makes me almost glad of early induction!

Kate if your 11th I dread to think where I am! Eek!

5hell I have bread and butter pudding envy!

fruit it's just a random glucose test to indicate if GTT might be needed. As it turns out I am having GTT.... Just! I saw mw today and asked her to repeat bloods as GP had requested. Fine, but she'd do fh measurement first in case I was over 95th centile, haha ha of course I wouldn't be, I was under 10th last time and growth scan shows healthy but small baby. I measured over 95th!! So GTT referral. She phone AN clinic and growth scan boss mw says no GTT and not to repeat bloods! Apparently they are stopping the random glucose tests anyway which is fucking ridiculous!! I tell them this of course anyway I manage to get mw to repeat bloods anyway as GP had requested. We discuss my iron which is apparently within range so no iron pills. 2hrs later AN clinic phone to say my bloods suggest I should go on iron pills and I need to discuss with my GP!! Ahhhhhhh! So this contradiction makes me even more uneasy about the lack of GTT so I mention it. End up on phone to growth scan Hitler that my mw spoke to. Not sure if it's because I mentioned to iron tablet mw that I was ivf or if Hitler has a heart but she agreed as it was making me anxious I could have GTT so I'm booked in for next Friday. I balled my eyes out in mw appt when I was told o couldn't have gtt so all in all an emotionally draining day!

5hell · 23/03/2016 20:20

Look after yourself fuzzy Flowers I would think the diarrhea could make u feel sore & crap for a while, so

Just had a good cry at a 16 & pregnant (I know!) Where v young couple chose to give the baby up for adoption, despite no support from their families! Sad dh came in, watched about 5mins and was also tearing up

5hell · 23/03/2016 20:27

Gosh lil that sounds exhausting, confusing and frustrating u poor thing!

So by fh you've gone from 10th to 95th? Is that on a personalised graph?

lildottie · 23/03/2016 20:31

Yes on personalised graph 5hell, is that bonkers?! It was an utterly exhausting afternoon! Just glad I am getting the GTT to be on the safe side! I've never drunk lucozade, possibly a good thing!

KateBeckett · 23/03/2016 21:09

Glad you are getting the GTT lil and I hope it puts your mind at ease!

5hell was it caitlynn and Tyler? They are on teen mom OG and have a pretty happy story after all the heartache on 16 and pregnant!

So... I shouldn't be allowed access to google. Have got some sore bump pains on my left hand side, particularly quite low down near my groin. I'm pretty sure it's just round ligament pain... But Google has convinced my my placenta is coming away. Confused Blush feels a bit too late to phone the hospital, and feel like I'd be wasting their time anyway... Argh, why do I google things?! It's so stupid!
