Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

Illiria · 15/03/2016 16:18

Congrats Aus/Lost

Happy birthday Sky

Thanks Feathered feeling a little better. Only a little bit of brown cm this morning and still no cramps. Lots of nausea this time round and completely off anything with caffeine - even decaf and chocolate. So trying to focus on that. Doesn't help work is dead so have lots of time to obsess think.

5hell · 15/03/2016 16:43

yay, go aus/auf/lost! Grin have been thinking about you as edds approach. many congratulations! ...team blue or pink in the end?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKY! ...hope you're having a super day. funny i'm not the only one with an edd v close to own bday!

Speaking of which edd 2 weeks today and 3 days left at work; getting freaked out by all the early births going down (particularly my nct group)...have external inspector in tomorrow, have to hand over some complex duties to others, finish up a few projects, tidy my desk, etc etc!!!

In better news, had leaving lunch today, which was a) very tasty, and b) involved prezzies (tbh wasn't holing out much hope on that front as it's usually me that organises cards etc, so pleasantly surprised! Smile)

CountryGal4 · 15/03/2016 17:38

Aus was literally thinking about you yest? Birth story if you have a mo?? Congrats!

Happy birthday sky!!

FuzzyOwl · 15/03/2016 19:16

*
Ill* keeping everything crossed for you Thanks

Yay for nice lunch 5hell! Gx baby stays put for a wee bit longer so that you can enjoy your mat leave!

Going to attempt stealth transfer to the crib now, wish me luck!

FeatheredTail · 16/03/2016 10:26

Congrats Auf!

Awww that's nice 5hell, especially so since you're the usual card and present organiser! Have there been many early births in your NCT group? I had blithely assumed that the baby will arrive late as it's my first....I want to enjoy my month of nesting/swanning about/forcing my Mum to take me out for lunches before I actually go into labour!

Sky glad you had a lovely birthday and lots of lovely presents. Always nice to feel appreciated and looked after.

I had a TOTAL freak out last night. FeatherFoetus was moving around SO MUCH. To be fair, I'd had a big dinner and a...erm....sherbert dibdab for 'pudding' which probably psyched it up a bit. But honestly - I had all sorts of shapes actually full on PROTRUDING from my stomach when I was lying down. It was bloody uncomfortable and I ended up shrieking for DH to reassure me there wasn't going to be an 'alien' situation on hand.

The only comfy positions are standing up (which isn't comfortable, but gives the baby some room) and lying down (awesome). My torso is too short to accommodate this growing lump sitting down. I swear I have a bruised right rib from where it's trying to bust out/where it's been kicking. ARGH!

Carrot how's it going with O? Popping my head into the grad-grads now and again and glad to see she's recovering well from being poorly.

Ohwoolballs · 16/03/2016 10:59

fruit I'm due on the 26th, so ten days to go according to the bleeding useless American app I have. But Baby is already engaged and stabbing my foof with his head constantly. Also, he's predicted to be over 8lbs (pinch of salt and all that though) so a few days early might be for the best.

Trijo love the quick maths!

Congratulations Aus!

Ohwoolballs · 16/03/2016 11:05

Pressed post too soon, doh!

A belated happy birfday to Sky! a day that should have been spent in labour, but at least you won't have to share the cake on future birthdays 😁😉

feathered my only comfy place post carb takeaway healthy supper is on the yoga ball. I'm only 5foot nuffing so a full tummy and a baby bum competing for room in the ribs is so damn painful. Aaaaand now I want a sherbet dib dab.

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/03/2016 11:09

Congratulations Aus, I was just looking at the stats the other day and wondering whatever happened to you! Glad you and baby are doing well.

I have a weird feeling this baby might be early. My acupuncture doc wanted to see me again in a month but I brought it forward a week just in case, I want to make sure I get a couple of sessions in before the birth. Will be a long wait if he turns out to be late!

Sounds like you had a great birthday Sky, Petit Bateau is gorgeous! I have banned myself from browsing their website!

Good luck today Ill.

Nice to hear from you Carrot, hope your boobs have recovered.

Feathered I had a phase when sitting down was really uncomfortable as everything felt really squashed but it seems to have passed now.

I'm finishing work at the end of next week. It's quite early but the timing of Easter holidays means there is little point in having a break and then working for one week after Easter. Currently struggling with giving up control to someone who I know won't do a great job but hopefully I will no longer give a shit when squishy little fruitbaby arrives.

FeatheredTail · 16/03/2016 12:16

WoolBalls - yup, the birthing ball is defo the best option right now!

Fruit what are you having the acupuncture for?

Mermaid36 · 16/03/2016 12:20

Jealous of everyone finishing for mat leave! I'm so exhausted and uncomfortable already that I'd love to finish....sadly can't quite get there at 22wks

I'm hoping that I get signed off sick at about 26-28wks....

Canters15 · 16/03/2016 13:34

I'd quite like to be on mat leave now at 4+2! Solely for the fact that all I want to do is lay on my sofa and look at baby clothes and am finding it v hard to summon much interest in work. It's going to be a long 9 months isn't it?! Grin

5hell · 16/03/2016 13:36

inspection over - hooray!!! that's one big thing ticked off my 'before i go' list :)

kate hope you're feeling ok today and relaxing with your feet up and trash on tv Brew

3 out of 3 have been early in my nct gang so far feathered!! - i too was sure i'd be late, and probably will be, although since yoga last night, feeling a bit 'dropped' and may have the start of some stretchmarks around my poor distended belly button Confused Sad

TriJo · 16/03/2016 13:38

Went out for breakfast with DH this morning... somehow managed to end up in a situation where every single form of transport I tried to use got delayed by a minimum of 10 minutes for absolutely no reason. Still worth it though, DH brought me to a cafe which does one of the best Turkish brekkies in north London :)

Heading to a women in tech event at Google this evening, networking at 39 1/2 weeks should be an interesting experience...

Canters15 · 16/03/2016 13:53

Sorry you're having a rough time mermaid.

Mermaid36 · 16/03/2016 14:22

canters I'm just stupidly huge already....can't bend down/over, struggling to get up and down stairs and the littlest things knacker me out...
Apparently this is all perfectly normal for a twin pregnancy, which is why several girls in my twin group have been signed off sick at 26-28wks....I can only hope!!

Canters15 · 16/03/2016 15:02

You poor thing mermaid. I doubt you'll have any problems getting signed off soon. Are there twins in your family out of interest? bet everyone asks that

Mermaid36 · 16/03/2016 15:12

Hahaha! No twins on either side really (1 set in 1930s).... I'm just special a pain in the arse

Ohwoolballs · 16/03/2016 15:46

I hope you can keep it up for just a few more weeks then mermaid 🌻🍰
5hel way to go! It must be ace feeling like the list is almost done before you can moonwalk out of there .

Tri Glad you or your breakfast! out of curiosity, it wasn't a Turkish place that has a huge glass window at the back where you see the bread being made? A friend took me there a few years ago and now on my visits I demand to go 😬 (Obviously there must be loads of Turkish places in North London, but damn, now I really want to go!)

Peenut · 16/03/2016 16:04

Hellooooo! Currently sat in Dublin airport after visiting a friend who has a goegeous squishy smiley 3 month old. Been a nice few days of eating/sitting/eating some more.

Happy birthday for yesterday Sky! Ah well, like others have said, your birthday is safely your own at least! Hurry up mini-Sky!

Tri how did the event go? Now, get home and put your feet up you crazy woman!!

Congrats Aus! Welcome Canters!

Hope some time off helps Kate, I can safely say these hormones are making me feel slightly unhinged so you are not alone. I realised today I have had this weird emotional/paranoid/anxious feeling before. When I made the mistake of having the contraceptive implant! I don't think progesterone agrees with me! It's horrible not feeling yourself so I hope some time off helps - and a bit of space/perspective does the world of good.

I had the weirdest thing this morning. Got really upset because I missed two calls off a friend early this morning, she texted and said she was worried about something and just wanted a chat ... My reaction was to go into doom meltdown and feel ridiculously worried about her and paranoid she has fallen out with me ... Over? God knows what but it's made up in my head! I still feel odd but can't speak to her until later, she's prob fine and just wants a chat, I know I'm over reacting but it's like I have no control or reason! Shock weirdo alert.

Did work reply to your email about the observation? Much respect to teachers, It's s hard job and I wish the education secretary could, for once, be somebody who has worked in education, not in politics and understands pressure teachers are under.

Oooof. Poor you Mermaid! Twinnies are getting big in there! You must be getting bigger at a rapid rate!

feathered my friend said she got so freaked out by lots of movement that she went to hospital to be checked. Was all normal but she said it felt so alien that she was convinced the baby was in distress.

fruit, must be hard to let go of control to somebody who you think won't do a great job ... Like you say though I doubt you'll give two hoots once tiny fruit shows up! I know it'll take me awhile to switch off from work mode though, I get really obsessed and perfectionist about work so I'll need a break to get my head together before baby arrives!

TriJo · 16/03/2016 16:08

Peenut it's starting at 6pm, which means I have to brave Tottenham Court Road station at rush hour! I've spent the afternoon cooking dinner for hubby and watching Cheltenham...

Peenut · 16/03/2016 16:18

Eeek, good luck in rush hour and hope it goes well at the event. Sounds like a relaxing day apart from that!

Ohwoolballs · 16/03/2016 16:22

My 50p bet on the 'osses made me £6.50. I feel like I must be a betting genius and totally didn't just pick them on names alone..... 🦄🐴
