Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

Feel like a massive failure but think I'm going to listen to dp and go speak to gp tomorrow. Have spent most days of the past week trying not to cry and dreading work, and I'm really worried the stress is damaging babybeckett Sad I used to love my job.

Sorry for all the navel gazing tonight, and thank you for the kind words x

FuzzyOwl · 14/03/2016 21:38

Kate it sounds like a bit of time away from work might do you some good. I had prenatal depression in my last pregnancy and it was awful so don't forget that you have lots of hormones and lots going on that is far more important than your job.

KateBeckett · 14/03/2016 21:40

Thanks fuzzy

Illiria · 14/03/2016 21:56

Kate please don't feel bad, if you need to take the time for yourself and babybeckett then you totally should.

Illiria · 14/03/2016 21:58

God wool I already shed hair like a cat don't know what I would do if it gets worse Confused

corgi88 · 14/03/2016 22:36

ill I hope all will be well! I'm sure it will be fine. And brown is good, just old blood isn't it?
just ranted about my thyroid over on undergrads, not much else to report here but getting cramps every now and then. Still unable to stop worrying because my TSH is now higher than it was before last MC. Stupid brain! stupid thyroid! pesky glands!
hope everyone else is doing well. hugs for kate, it sounds rubbish and stressful but I'm sure you are doing fab. Good idea to see GP though.
so excited at our new group of newbies! whooo :)

KateBeckett · 14/03/2016 22:47

Thanks guys.

corgi what is TSH? Sorry! I know it is easier said than done but remember, today you are pregnant. X

corgi88 · 14/03/2016 23:30

Thanks Kate :) tsh is thyroid stimulating hormone. If it's too high it can mean your body is struggling to produce enough thyroid hormone, and an interactive thyroid can cause miscarriages so obviously I'm getting my knickers in a twist.
Hope you have a nice GP tomorrow :)

corgi88 · 14/03/2016 23:31

Underactive not interactive! Stupid autocorrect!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/03/2016 06:49

corgi can you speak to your doc about adjusting your dose? Are you on levothryroxine? I have Hashimotos Disease and I wasn't sure I'd even be able to get pregnant as I was so ill at one stage but I got there and here I am at the end of pregnancy with a healthy baby kicking away at me! There is a lot you can do to support your thyroid through taking high quality natural source supplements as well. I take an excellent prenatal that covers most of my needs but still ended up with low ferritin so take an iron supplement as well...Rainbow Light Prenatal One

Well, it is my birthday... 37! ShockConfusedBlush officially no Spring Chicken anymore... still pregnant. Went to bed cramping but fell asleep. Woke up in the night several times with aching hips and fanjo but no real pattern to contractions. My hips, thighs and back feel tender and I get cramps and fanny daggers when I stand up and walk around but I think it is just from the sweep rather than actual labour. Ho hum. At least we know my womb is hospitable grasps at straws

kate you should speak to your MW about how you are feeling or your GP as depression in pregnancy is hormonal and very common. I am sorry you are struggling. It might be a good idea to speak to your work as well and get to the bottom of whatever is happening. In my experience the reality is always much better than what the mind conjurs up... hugs to you Flowers

Canters15 · 15/03/2016 07:28

fruitlovingmonkey · 15/03/2016 07:29

Happy birthday Sky! Cake
Sounds like you need a break Kate, observations are horrible at the best of times, nevermind when you're struggling with emotions Flowers. They will cope without you for a few days.
Try not to worry ill, hopefully it's just a sign that your little embryo is burying in deeply for a long stay.
When are you due Wool?

lildottie · 15/03/2016 07:53

Happy birthday sky gd friendly Cake Flowers and alcohol free Wine for you. Have you got anything nice planned for today other than evict your tenant ideally!

KateBeckett · 15/03/2016 07:59

YogaPants · 15/03/2016 09:05

Happy birthday Sky! Hope for you, Woolballs, TriJo and whomever else is at term that your babies don't keep you waiting too much longer!

JS undergrads seem to have been very productive this month! Must have been some good shagging advice going on. Gx for sticky ones. I also had a little bit of bleeding at around 6 weeks and felt very tentative about the pregnancy until around 20 weeks.

FuzzyOwl · 15/03/2016 09:16

Happy birthday Sky!

The nausea has started to arrive which I am finding reassuring. Hope everyone else is doing ok today.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/03/2016 09:34

Awwwww fanks viroids... you lot are the best. Grin

TriJo · 15/03/2016 10:22

The long haul continues - not even a whimper or a Braxton-Hicks this morning so far! Was up 4 times during the night to pee though, which was a bit annoying.

Busy undergrads because yesterday was exactly a month after Valentine's Day :D

FeatheredTail · 15/03/2016 10:53

Happy birthday Sky! And you are still a spring chicken - the average life span for women in the UK increases every year (so long as you're not a smoker or live in a particularly disadvantaged postcode) Wink

Great to have so many new grads on the thread! HAHAHA Jo - good spot with the valentine shagging!

Canters, hang in there: the amazing hair DOES HAPPEN. Well mine did. It now seems to be turning a corner down to average again. But it's still loads better than it's ever been before - I can go for ages without washing it and it still looks full and bouncy! It's like a magical payoff for the 16 weeks of horrendous nausea at the start.

I had a really busy day at work yesterday. I talked through half my handover with my cover. FOR FOUR HOURS. On the train home I planned to snooze/read my showbiz trash on the internet/go on mumsnet. No such luck. I saw someone I knew and had to talk all the way home. I then had to go straight onto NCT which went on until 10.15.

I feel sick with tiredness. Urghhh. I'm going to have to start taking the iron tablets and just counteract them with lactulose/tonnes of fruit. The idea that I could feel like this going into labour is horrendous. I wouldn't be able to push. I'd just pass out.

Kate was the GP any help?

FeatheredTail · 15/03/2016 11:06

Ill how're you doing? Here for hand holding if you need it.

lostinthestratosphere · 15/03/2016 11:17

Hi friendlies, it's Aus. Smile waves manically Who has lost her username and password and the rest in the deathly silence that has become her mn existence. But I wanted to fill you on the arrival last week of a little aus!!! Quite early, but all well enough with both of us. I'm sorry I haven't been part of the run-up to team March and hope you're all well and shagging like March hares when not waylaid by the usual stuff, even when already up the duff!

KateBeckett · 15/03/2016 12:06

feathered yes, made me cry though. I've been given a fit note for 2 weeks and an appointment with occupational health. And strict instructions to relax and not worry about babybeckett who will be just fine.

Glad you are feeling reassured fuzzy but also hope you don't suffer too much!

aus congrats!!

ChatEnOeuf · 15/03/2016 13:57

Congrats Aus!

jellypi3 · 15/03/2016 14:44

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/03/2016 15:36

Congrats lost!

Sending you a big hug kate hope some rest helps you feel more like yourself again soon!

Being spoiled despite my best efforts to avoid birthday... although to be fair is combination mummy/baby gifts. Got 2 big baskets from Baby Blooms, flowers, and a very generous gift card from Petit Bateau in the post today BlushSmileGrin

Lots of niggly pains... trying to tempt baby out with presents...
