Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

justtheonethen · 05/03/2016 14:08

Ooh also shaking Pom Poms for tea!

SecondCupOfTea · 05/03/2016 14:12

Sorry, previous should have should no painful contractions.

Meh.

CountryGal4 · 05/03/2016 16:00

Yeah it home at around dinner time yesterday.

Enjoy the catheter!

TriJo · 05/03/2016 16:03

Active birth class at my hospital this morning, can't say I learned much we didn't already cover at NCT, and apart from actually getting to see one of the birth centre rooms it felt like a bit of a waste of my Saturday. Fecking wrecked, a little bit cranky and getting quite uncomfortable - the walk down the hill from the hospital is now taking a lot longer and walking downhill makes me feel like I've been kicked in the crotch.

Peenut · 05/03/2016 17:21

Sounds like you were in good hands Thursday and glad to read you have a hungry little milk demon! Hope you get some rest and they met you home soon. Well done for getting past spinal block memories - you have a really positive story to think about now! Cool your midwife was a parkrunner too!

Sorry meant to show concern for Fruit's d dawg! Not Feathered - whoops! That's good he seems better despite poo and puke incident!!

Good god, feel like a zombie today. The week has totally caught up with me. Had a'little' nap and woke up three hours later! Meant to be out at a friend's house later but can't string a sentence together! Last night had full on cold but today just feel tired but ok - what is my body up to?? Oh yes, making a human!

DH annoying me. He said he just wants the baby to arrive do he stops freaking out. I thought, ah, sweet. He means he's worried about me and baby and complications. Nope. He went on to explain he is still freaking out about the transition from being young and free (he is THIRTY FIVE) to parenthood. I know men's worries are equally as valid as ours but if he was at least seemingly worried about something other than himself I'd feel lots better and be much more understanding. I didn't say anything at the time but it's now niggling at me ... Feel like saying my main worry is him and this weird Peter Pan complex he has. At least he tells me what he thinks, suppose that is good.

Ouch Tri - fanny daggers! But at least you are knowledged up to the max now about active birth!

FeatheredTail · 05/03/2016 17:35

Aw, I wish I had a dog though Pee Smile. Sending wellness vibes to yours Fruit.

Gosh, it's going to seem super quiet here once Sky and Tea pop! Both sound like you're getting there!

Pee - urgh, I hate that post-nap feeling of uber grogginess. Cup o tea and wash your face? See how you feel once refreshed? Can't help with the DH issue - it's tricky. You don't want to tell him to shudURRRRP about his feelings as I suppose he needs to get them out there - but at the same time he kind of should shut up and consider how it makes you feel. Have you told him how burdensome/lonely it makes you feel??

Waiting for friends in a really cute cool cocktail place. I'm drinking a "special homemade" lemonade. It's not special. It can fuck off. I might have a small glass of wine (100ml) with dinner. Debating how terrible a mother-to-be that makes me.

Found amazing material for FoeutusFeather's blinds in his/her bedroom. Will send pic.

Quentin Blake illustrations always make me feel a mix of hysteria and joy.

SecondCupOfTea · 05/03/2016 18:18

Oh they're pretty.

Have wine. Tell lemonade it's not fucking special.

Mermaid36 · 05/03/2016 18:38

pee I had "forty winks" earlier slept for over 2hrs and woke up worse than I went to bed!

I've managed a wobble around Lancaster today, and managed to buy lots of food and eat it and we've started to move bedrooms round (DH, not me doing moving).

Knackered now...

FuzzyOwl · 05/03/2016 18:54

Thanks Molly.

Glad if isn't anything more serious Fruit although having had a stomach bug this week, your DDog has my full sympathy. Hope he is feeling much better soon.

Hope all is going well Tea.

Ohwoolballs · 05/03/2016 19:09

feathered I LUB that material (I'm a children's bookseller when I'm not growing a baby) reminds me that I have a ton of Eric Carle material that I was going to do something with... 🙂

fruit glad FruitDog has perked up a wee bit.

Tri at least the walk did some good - fanny daggers all the way!

We ended up not going to the park but got muddy walking the round trip to the next village and back (about 4 miles all together) got home and feel like a broken woman. I have a hot water bottle on my back and a microwave cat shaped heaty bag on the fanny - walking like John Wayne to the fridge.
Takeaway is ordered and the cycling has just started 😬

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/03/2016 19:46

Nothing to worry about feathered as I am going to be pregnant FOREVER! Have the wine, the lemonade can fuck off...

Glad sicky dog is a bit better...

Also very tired today. Have been taking it easy. Maybe too easy...

TriJo · 05/03/2016 20:18

Watching the cycling here too Ohwoolballs - nasty fall for the Irish girl in the points race earlier Shock

Time for a sneaky Chocolate and Brew as well - Morrisons have 100g Milka bars for 50p at the moment and it's a bit dangerous!

5hell · 05/03/2016 20:52

Evening viroids! First aid course was good but tiring (recommend red cross baby/child app too).

Off to see mum for mothers day tomorrow, so just baking a cake. bit nervous as is first time I've seen her since chemo started and don't know how truthful she's been about being 'fine' Confused

pee is it possible that's his 'cover story' to appear not too soft & not to get too emotional?? Still annoying, but men can be v odd! Dh freaked out last week...nothing to do with me/chubs specifically, just feeling unprepared! perhaps he should check my google spreadsheets!

Ohwoolballs · 05/03/2016 21:46

bloody painful! trijo gutted for Cav too.
Hullo 5hell we've put our interest in the next lot of child first aid ones round here, but since it covers a few villages I just hope they get enough people to do a course before the WoolBump is walking. 😬 Hope your mum is doing well.

FuzzyOwl · 05/03/2016 22:33

Hope your mum's idea of fine really is just that 5hell.

SockQueen · 05/03/2016 22:38

Congratulations Thursday! Glad it all went smoothly this time. Hope you're not too sore.

Had a crappy day at work today, and didn't get lunch till 5pm, by which time I was ready to keel over!

Peenut · 06/03/2016 00:13

Not sure if it's his cover story 5hell, but I think he has severe foot in mouth syndrome ... He doesn't think much or sensor what he wants to say! Anyway ... Men are weird and I might be slightly completely over sensitive at the moment so every little thing peeves me off/makes me weepy.

Hope your mum is doing well and enjoys her cake.

Mermaid so pleased you heard back there was nothing to worry about by the way. Smile

Ooooh WoolBalls ... I am intrigued that you are a children's bookseller! I work in kids books too!

Love the illustrated fabric Feathered! Cute characters!

Mermaid36 · 06/03/2016 06:34

5hell my sister has just been discharged from 4wks in hospital after a stem cell transplant....and she is "fine"....because that's what she is telling herself, as it helps her to feel "fine". Dependent on the type of chemo, your mum might feel ok at the moment.
No matter - go in the house, listen to her and pretty much ignore her. It's a bit like visiting someone with a new baby. Get her to sit down and then make tea. Potter round the kitchen and sort stuff out. Empty/fill dishwasher/washer. Minor jobs etc. Don't let her tell you/DH no! Offer to pop to the shop beforehand ("in passing") if there is anything she needs...but she'll still probably tell you she is fine!

Ohwoolballs · 06/03/2016 09:05

Happy Mother's Day folks! 🌻🌺🌼
Since I still haven't had this one yet, I'm going to Aldis and buy a few bunches of daffs and eat more of my leaving pressy chocolate.

peenut 😄 Because kids books is where it's at. I've been a bit more than a kids bookseller but it is definitely where my heart is.

5hell I think mermaid has it spot on 💜

lildottie · 06/03/2016 10:14

Happy mother's day viroids. Can't believe how worlds apart this year is to last year, and how different next year's will be! Taking my mum and Bros out for lunch with dh later and going to mums for a cuppa when I get my ass out of bed! Don't want to move as I'm enjoying a wiggley baby atm though! still occassionally pinching myself that these are words I am saying

Hope everyone else has something nice planned today. sky and tea mother's day babies? Wink

5hell hope your mum really is fine, but all you can do is be there and take her lead. Chances are she is used to being the strong one and doesn't want to burden you. Let her know you can be strong for both of you. She still may not open up about how she's feeling but all you can do is offer comfort and support. Will be thinking of you today. Enjoy the Cake

How's ddog today fruit?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/03/2016 12:00

Currently trying to bribe the baby out with bacon...

Happy Mothers Day viroids! BrewCakeFlowersSt DavidsStarChocolate you are all amazing and are and will be excellent mummies!

FeatheredTail · 06/03/2016 13:12

Good call Sky - I could be bribed into anything with bacon!

So FeatherFoetus got me a card and a birthing ball. Cheers DH (a facial would have been the preferred pressie, but I'm happy) Wink

Just think - this time next year we're all going to have little ones - or more little ones - of our own! Woot woot!

Had a lovely night with best friends - absolutely zonked now. Am still in my dressing gown, stumbling about knackered whilst DH is putting together a feast for my Mum coming over.

How's the DDog Fruit

Thinking of you today 5hell - big hugs and hope you're Mum is lookin well.

Have a lovely day, you lovely preggos. I'm off to get myself dressed and looking like less of a mad, pale, state.
