Come one, come all it's the TTC#1 Grads thread! Everyone welcome so long as you're not put off by graphic descriptions of the lunch we couldn't keep down or the weird pregnancy symptoms we just have to share.

Our lovely ladies now span many stages of upduffedness from "woohoo BFP, now let me pee on 58 more sticks just to be sure" to "Oh my god, why don't they warn you what morning sickness is really like?" To" I need to pee 132 times a day but look at my cute scan photo!"

if you're looking for advice, banter and support, along with the occasional scan photo or rant, you are definitely in the right place.

Grin Gawjus!

Lisa I'm the same, I don't particularly go for styles that flash much boob, and I was concerned with my order about that, but the neckline is stitched at the right spot and I don't feel 'exposed' at all. I did go for this one in case you're wondering:

m.seraphine.com/blue-paisley-knot-front-maternity-maxi-dress.html

It's flattering and comfy and I'm just going to dress it up for the wedding.

Thanks for the response regarding round ligament pain, sounds like that's what I've had then...only seems to happen if I move quickly. Currently suffering from heartburn (snap Bunch)

Morwenna1 · 07/03/2016 17:09

Getting more hungry throughout the day now too....need to try and find something healthy to snack on!

BunchOfBobs · 07/03/2016 17:09

Mor that dress is stunning!
Fx the heartburn buggers off for us soon.

Pinklily1 · 07/03/2016 19:12

Hi ladies

Lots to catch up on.

Miley, I would also pronounce it Thee-a. I like Thea, it's different as in not overly popular, but not too out there at the same time if you see what I mean. I've never seen Emelia spelt like that but there are a lot of Amelia's. It's a pretty name though.

We have two girls names and at the minute two very tentative boys names. OH doesn't like my two favourite boys names but there's time yet to wear him down Grin

I think the whole glowing in the second trimester thing is lies lies lies! I've got dry hair, itchy skin and spots Hmm

I ordered two Seraphine dresses; they are arriving tomorrow. I'm bizarrely excited about them!

Pinklily1 · 07/03/2016 19:16

Mor, I'm getting that pain too. It's been freaking me out.

That Seraphine dress is lovely.

At the risk of a TMI post, when people are DTD with OH on top, does it hurt at all? As in, it didn't used to, but now it does?! Blush

IndiX · 07/03/2016 19:48

Miley I think Thea is lovely, I agree with some of the other that I would pronounce it Thee-a but it's your child, call him/her anything you like. I know what you mean though it does feel like a huge responsibility!
I have a few names I like but I imagine I'll change my mind a LOT before baby arrives.
Mor I can't find your original post with your symptoms but I think I have that too..I sometimes get it if I stand up too fast and the other day I had it when I sneezed really hard! Glad it's not just me.
Feeling a lot better today, not as nauseous as the last few days and managed to get to the gym. Felt a lot more tired than usual but got it done. I'm so looking forward to the 2nd trimester to feel a bit more normal so I'm going to live in my own little ignorant bliss and pretend it'll be wonderful and I'll be one of those glowing pregnant women you see in magazines.....(please don't burst my bubbleGrin)

BunchOfBobs · 07/03/2016 19:54

Yes I also definitely get it when sneezing but it's a really sharp pain.

LisaTheGreek · 07/03/2016 20:11

Indi, I'm living in the same bubble! In my mind there's this big checkpoint to the second trimester after which the nausea goes away, sleep gets better, and I generally feel happy and full of energy.

This is definitely true and no one can convince me otherwise! Grin

Runner05 · 07/03/2016 20:18

You're right guys, the second trimester is the promised land, don't let us grumpy whiners tell you otherwise Grin

At the moment I'm living in the fantasy that, as I've felt crappy all pregnancy so far I'm going to have a really quick and easy birth to make up for it HA!

Nevlet · 07/03/2016 20:27

Hey guys! Catch up time!

Yes to the round ligament pains if I move to quick or laugh/sneeze its blinding!

Sorry but second tri is tons better here... Not glowing by any means but largely feel back to normal and in comparison brilliant compared to first 10/11 weeks!

Laurenrl · 07/03/2016 20:38

Evening girls! I get the ligament pain and only 10+3!! Especially when sneezing.

Sat here in a jumper, dressing gown and blanket and OH is in a tshirt so I think it must be pregnancy ahaha

We have 2 girl names we love and can't decide between, and cannot decide on a boy name we like at all!

leoniethelioness · 07/03/2016 20:56

I'm quite behind on this thread! We have a few girls' names we like and would use, and a few boys' names too but I can't imagine calling a son by any of them. We are holding off until our 12 week scan before thinking about it any more. :)

IndiX · 07/03/2016 21:41

Yes I get really sharp pains too, I'm only 9w! Is that too early to feel ligament pains? I haven't had it the last couple of days but I do get sharp pains near my hip bones sometimes?

Newmrs22 · 08/03/2016 07:38

I've been getting a pulled muscle type pain when I forget I'm pregnant in the middle of the night and turn over quickly. Always shocks me!

I feel the bump is really popping out this week. 17 weeks today!

We haven't come up with any names yet. Need to start thinkng!

Runner05 · 08/03/2016 08:13

Eek, worrying morning. I had a small amount of blood and a tiny clot in my cm this morning.

I know it's not really anything to worry about and I've had it once before but I'm not going to be happy until it sods off Sad

OP posts:
BunchOfBobs · 08/03/2016 08:18

Runner I'm sure it's completely fine, my SIL had it throughout her 3 pregnancies but give your midwives a call just so they're aware. Personally I'd be trying to have another sneaky peek at potato in the guise of concern. Mine seem to love giving out scans for the slightest bit of pink so worth a try?

Runner05 · 08/03/2016 08:44

Lol, sadly Bunch I don't think my midwife will be as helpful... She's a complete idiot Hmm

OP posts:
Runner05 · 08/03/2016 09:01

So, I called the community midwife and she's said I need to see my dr and if he's worried I'll be referred.

Wasn't that worried before but now I'm waiting for the nurse to call I'm really worried.

OP posts:
BunchOfBobs · 08/03/2016 09:01

Oh of course Runner. I forgot you had a duff. EPU/EPAS?
Well I've just had my first half of my GD blood test and drank my delicious polycal drink HmmNo I have to wait and slowly starve until they stab me again at 10.30.

BunchOfBobs · 08/03/2016 09:03

Runner they're just being safe. Try not to worry. It's better they're over cautious than lax and crap.

Sodasoda · 08/03/2016 09:06

Hello everyone, lots to catch up on!

runner I can imagine that is worrying, I hold the midwife is helpful and you manage a sneaky scan!

I'm 12+6 so not second trimester yet according to ovia but my hair is definitely nicer than it was. You could have fried chips in it a few weeks ago but a couple of people have actually commented that my hair is looking nice and they don't know I'm pregnant! Skin is still bad though.

I'm suffering really badly with constipation. My midwife recommended lactulase but reluctant to take it after experiences here. But it's awful! I feel bloated, sluggish and horrifically bunged up! Also very flatulent Blush Anyone else?!

Glad the seraphine dresses are a good fit - that's a lovely one mor, perfect for summer. Mine arrived yesterday when I was out so need to pick them up tonight - exciting! I also bought a couple of tops from new look over the weekend and some over the bump skinny jeans from jojo maman bebe. I thought they'd be really expensive but They were only £29 and I figured I'll probably be wearing them after the baby is born anyway!

Sharp pains here when I sneeze or cough too - glad to know it's not just me.

I didn't know you were supposed to sleep on your left side??!! I always sleep on my side but I toss and turn so right and left for me.

And still up at least twice a night for weeing.

I think I'm caught up!

Waves to everyone xx

Runner05 · 08/03/2016 09:20

Thanks peep.

Just went and had a sneaky listen to Potato's heart beat which sounds nice and strong. Community midwife seemed to think that they would just listen to baby's heart and then refer if they thought they needed too.
I wish the triage nurse would bloody hurry up and call!

BunchOfBobs · 08/03/2016 11:13

Any news Runner?
I've had my second stabbing and have eaten and now feeling hideous with the food kicking in. I feel so sick.

Runner05 · 08/03/2016 12:00

I've got an appointment with a dr at 3:30. Will have to see what they say.

Hope you start feeling ok soon Bunch. I've got to go through the same thing in June. Not looking forward to it.
