Hi ladies,

Quick question - my periods were irregular before I fell pregnant, so obviously over the moon to actually be pregnant. To my calculations I'm 7 weeks and 5 days. I had my booking in appointment last week and after telling the midwife about my irregular periods before, she said I could be 11 weeks (now nearly 13 weeks). She even went as far to write my estimated due date as 15th September on my maternity record, even though I worked it out to be around 22nd September. She said my scan should be in the next couple of weeks as they like to do it between 12/14 weeks here.

I got my scan date in the post yesterday for 12th April - if I go by my calculations that makes me 12 weeks, but if I go by the midwife's calculations I'll be 17 weeks! Is this right?

What should I do? I know it's hard because I'm not totally sure how far gone I am, but should I try to get an earlier scan date? Is 17 weeks normal? Should I call the hospital or my midwife? Little bit confused so any advise would be great.

Sorry I meant to say I worked out my due date to be 22nd October! Doh!

10w scan this morning showed our baby has gone. Missed miscarriage Saw a beautiful heartbeat at 7+1 and 8+5 but baby measured 9+3 so it died mid/late last week. Utterly heartbroken.

Oh banana, I am so sorry. I had a mmc a couple of years ago and know how devasting they are. I hope you have lots of RL support. Look after yourself.

So so sorry banana fish. Treat yourself kindly and take all the help/support you can . If you read this, there is another thread # 3 where ppl have messaged support for you, if you feel up to reading it.
