Pod I had something similar at 5+5, mine was pinky and then some brown coloured and lasted a couple of days. I had an early scan booked in at 6+2 already and everything was fine then. The MW thought it might be the placenta attaching or something similar.

TheCake · 07/03/2016 07:54

pod100 I had that- very light when I went to the toilet. I thought I was going to miscarry again, but that was a few weeks ago now and I have had two early scans since then and everything is ok. It is probably nothing but obviously if it gets worse and/ or you start cramping contact your EPU.

I've got an appointment on Saturday in Leeds for the NIPTY test and (another) scan so I am getting quite nervous about that. Keep thinking I feel less pregnant as my bloating has gone down and I feel less sick. Saying that I was so tired yesterday I barely moved off the couch all day! Also last night was the first time I didn't need to get up in the night for the toilet (usually it's twice)! I need to stop being paranoid!!! I'm 11+5 today so could be feeling better because the placenta is starting to take over.

Northernlight22 · 07/03/2016 09:33

The only decaf teas I can drink is decaf Yorkshire tea and twinings English breakfast decaf.

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/03/2016 10:58

I've just made myself a cup of normal tea....and it's minging Sad done everything the same was I usually would, but it tastes weird! Maybe this is the moment my tastebuds start going haywire?!

DisneyDiva87 · 07/03/2016 11:26

I wouldn't worry too much Eggy you can safely have up to 5 cans of cola before you hit 200mg. Just watch your intake though, I buy cola as a caffeine boost as I don't trust the amount of caffeine in a barrista coffee. Don't forget chocolate has some caffeine in it too.

I'm a Redbush tea drinker too, and lemon and ginger to try and help the nausea when it appears.

I'm sure a bit of pinkish discharge is nothing pod are you going to get it checked out? I hope you haven't had any more since.

My enormobloat is getting ridiculous. My normal tops are riding up and my jeans are riding low so I have a chilly midriff - think I'm going to have to hit up the tall section for some long vest tops to go under my normal tops as absolutely no way am I tempting fate by buying anything from the maternity section until the second trimester!!

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/03/2016 11:50

Me too banana!! I'm 5'3" and usually a size 6-8....so now I feel like a right bloater!! Keep scaring myself that there's two babies in there!

Esjaye · 07/03/2016 12:24

I am having the same problem except I am already 6 foot so hitting tall section for longer tops doesn't help me lol

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/03/2016 12:28

Esjaye at least height is on your side when you're pregnant, you have the opportunity to look a bit more graceful....I resemble a hobbit when I'm not pregnant....so as my bump grows, I will change from "chubby hobbit" into "toadstool" Hmm

bananafish81 · 07/03/2016 12:33

I am only 5'7'' but very long in the body so not sure how effective a tactic it is going to be!

My boobs and bloat have already got me busted by a friend. I'm a small framed size 8 and normally a card carrying member of the itty bitty titty committee. So cleavage of any kind was a dead giveaway Blush

Esjaye · 07/03/2016 12:35

My main problem is that along with being tall I am also big boobed (36G) and they are growing massively already :-( please tell me this isn't gonna carry on

You did tickle me though saying you look like a toadstool.... Is finding maternity clothes for toadstools easy .... I am thinking I am going to have problems as finding normal clothes is hard enough

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/03/2016 12:39

🙋🏻 another paid up member of the itty bitty titty comittee here.....apart from this week. This week I must have forgotten to pay my membership because my itty bitty titties have turned into a pair of mutant mangoes Blush

pod100 · 07/03/2016 12:43

Thanks for all the replies so far! V pleased to hear I'm not the only one who's had this. Been keeping a regular check and not had anything more since this morning though have had a few very small stomach cramps. I'm going to keep an eye on it and will call the docs if there is any change.

Still feel absolutely shattered after 8 hours sleep. Would love to crawl into my bed right now! I also got a full on bloat this morning. Had to change my top before coming into work. Looked fine when I put it on but 15 mins later my stomach looked huge! Thankfully my weight has fluctuated a little in the last 18 months so I have a good mix of tops to wear.

Esjaye · 07/03/2016 12:48

Would love to be a member of the Itty bitty titty club ... They annoy me at best of times but now I look like I have ballons down my top I really not impressed .... But keep telling myself it good news and it means I don't have to worry as much as I am doing about my scan tomoz

LisaTheGreek · 07/03/2016 13:48

I seem to be the only one who hasn't had a change in breast size so far!

They're already a D (36D) so it's not as if I'm desperate for them to become balloons (or spend lots of money on new bras), but I kind of feel like I'm missing out Grin

In terms of clothes, I think my strategy is going to be to keep wearing some of my looser dresses, and probably put leggings under them further down the line. I'm 5' 9'', so some of my shorter dresses could just become tops if they still fit!

How is everyone feeling today?

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 07/03/2016 14:30

Hi, 9 weeks today. Don't seem to have any symptoms this week but still getting over a sinus infection.
Retrieved my only pair of maternity trousers from the loft over the weekend as jeans getting tight, more bloat than baby I think.
Got my scan date: April fools day!
Hoping I can go shopping for some clothes once I get past my scan, summer is pretty easy to cover as you can just wear lots of floaty tops and dresses.
I've never had an Autumn baby so not sure how to layer for Bf as they are usually past the constant feeding by that point.
No sign of the titty fairy yet for me!

Figgygal · 07/03/2016 14:41

My boobs didn't change one jot last time and so far my 36A's remain as they were not holding out much hope for breastfeeding again this time round. Not that boob size is indication of success or not but cant imagine no changes (other than intense pain at times) can be a positive indicator either.

I'm 5'10 and carried pg very well last time as all my height is in the body I have short legs I'm a size 12/14 usually so not skinny and think that helps hide what is going on.

Im 9+4 no symptoms still other than this mad itching which I am going to go to dr for when they open after work, need to check the UTI has gone and get advice on the thrush. Have called midwife for a maternity exemption form will need it if going to be needing more prescriptions. holding out for my scan now having lots of negative thoughts about having lost it I know it is normal paranoia.

bananafish81 · 07/03/2016 15:06

Got the photos emailed through from Saturday's scan, the limb stumps and cord aren't quite as clear as they were on the screen, but it did look less like a prawn than at the 7w scan, and had doubled in size!

Does look a bit like Tintin however....!!Grin

Tallblue · 07/03/2016 15:15

bananafish I'm with you on the enormobloat! I'm usually a bit chubby around the waist anyway (size 14-16 ish) but this is full on solid-looking pregnancy tummy- I know it can't be the little bean at this stage so it's all either fluid or wind Blush

I have an OB appointment tomorrow, hoping I'll get a scan but I'm not sure, I've not seen this doctor before and don't know what the system is yet. I'll be so disappointed if I leave the appointment without being scanned! Although DH won't be with me as he has to work, if it's not good news it would be awful being there alone. But, I'm trying like so many of us to stay positive.

Curry for dinner this evening as I just want to eat salty and spicy food, most unlike me as I'm usually a sugar fiend. The nausea has reduced a lot today, thank goodness.

figgy I have similar size boobs to you and was disappointed after DC1 that they went back to their usual itty bitty state. I'm being blindly optimistic hoping for better things this time!

Tallblue · 07/03/2016 15:16

Aw that's lovely bananafish!
