Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

I feel a bit better for a proper meal and an early night for DS. My lower back is really struggling now, it's been agony all day today. I dont really want to labour, but if my waters broke tonight I would t be too sad.

This is where so many women's lovely birth plans fall apart I think - the last few weeks is SUCH a ball ache that we all just wanna get the baby the fuck out!

Welcome back Ill. Forget the obgyn, they can advise but they don't own you. Most of the time they want u to wait so dating is easier, not because there's a medical reason.

And the nct pissed me off. I booked an nct course for me and the viroid. Membership money is a dd coming out of my account. Today our membership cards arrived, in a letter addressed to the miroid only! What the actual fucking fuck?! He had no clue what the fuck it was, because he's had nothing to do with it apart from saying he would like to do the course. Am raging.

Off to bed now for an earlyish night... Blork.

Yes, very over being pregnant! Just want to get on the road to being myself again. And I want to meet this bloody baby!

sky there were cereal bars, crisps and water! Lol

Thurs there were talks by waterbabies (not sure if that's a sw thing but its in Cornwall for sure), daisy foundation, red cross did a mini baby first aid bit on burns and choking, and the mothercare staff demo'd some prams and talked about cribs/cots/bedding. Was pretty useful but alot to take in! Got a few freebies and a 10% mothercare voucher to use by 13/3

Just wanted to say congratulations to illiria! Also in case it's any help - my DS was conceived first cycle after MC too. They said to wait to try again but we didn't, and he's perfect. Gx for you and so pleased for you!

It was lovely to see so many of you yesterday! Thanks so much for coming, I really enjoyed meeting and chatting to you and B loved the fuss and excitement of it. He was a star all the way home on the train too which was a relief!

Though actually I'm not sure plug loss is as important a sign as the websites tell you - how are you feeling?

I woke a few times in quite a lot of pain last night. Hips, pelvis, lower back and under bump but never my actual bump.
Pre op at the hospital today.

Today is the first day that our NIPT tests could come back...Needless to say, DH and I didn't sleep well last night....would really like them before the weekend....

Sorry for shit sleep Thurs and Merm. I also slept badly, combination of ridiculous rib pain and worrying about my appointment today. I also read that your ribs expand in your first pregnancy and never go back to normal. WTAF?

Congratulations Ill, don't worry about your obgyn. Most people are told to wait for one period and then try again but I know plenty of couples who've started again right away. Please do stick around and share your worries in these first weeks, a lot of us have been there with the utter terror that is pg after mc.

waves hey viroids! Sorry I've not been commenting on here recently, life with a new born has been more hectic than I ever thought (not to give you the fear!). Thanks for the lovely message on post grads sky :) I have been reading now and then, excited for the March madness that's about to start!

Yay for 24 weeks lil, it's such a big milestone. I only started imagining having my baby after 24 weeks.

country plugs can go up to two weeks before so try not to stress easier said than done I know

I had my second high result this week. Seeing diabetic team today so will likely have to start meds and discuss early delivery. Wish me luck with getting my ELCS over induction. Crosding everything crosses eyes and sticks out tongue

Is the pre op just where they swab you for mrsa? That was my experience (obvs not for cs). Does anything else happen?

Absolutely knackered. Didn't sleep well either. Think it was the excitement of meeting viroids yesterday.

Sat in doctor's surgery for the first midwife appointment of the day. What a suprise - SHE'S RUNNING LATE. This time there was an official running late notification on the electronic sign in. At what point do I make an official complaint? She's ALWAYS late, for EVERY first appointment of the day when I come in. It's a joke. I should be on my way to work now and she's HALF AN HOUR LATE!!! I'm really bloody furious.

Sky I hope the results aren't anything to get worried about. Would they see how meds go first before planning a cs or induction?

Fruit - it's not a myth sadly. My mum said her ribs massively expanded and never went back. She looks bitter and irritated every time she mentions it/remembers! Being a short arse myself, this baby has nowhere to go but out, so I look forward to developing my own mahoosive ribs/bricky back.

Country ....GX that it's not plug and you've got another 6 days of pregnancy!

Country if there's no blood in it it's much less of an indication of imminent labour I think. Plug can go and then grow back again. Gx baby stays put!

Fruit going by bra sizes my ribs did expand last time but then they went back. I guess it varies from woman to woman. Some preggos' feet get bigger too and then stay that way!

DP is working from home and is really getting on my nerves already!

Well apparently they can't do it more than a week before the section date so I've been sent away until tomorrow

I suggested they bring the section forward a day but the mw assured me she's tried that but no room for me next Thursday (yeah right)

Thurs that's shit. Why are the NHS so disorganised!! You too feathered, you're a better person than me. I'd have complained long ago!

So I have my consultant appointment on Monday. Only consultant led due to ivf, I'm otherwise low risk. Any idea what I should ask? I figure I'll ask how likely it is I'll get to 40weeks/have to be induced but other than that I don't know.
